The truth is they didn't want to. As of 2021 Over 50% supported them. So it's kind of a moot point.

Frankly, I don't give much credance to a poll taken in an enviroment where any expressed dissent against the Hamas authorities could you cost you your life.

But I haven't heard anyone marching for the removal of Hamas. No Palestinian group, none in the United nations, no one marching or declaring Hamas has to go. We only hear that Israel has to go.

It's is is also a well established fact that Hamas threatens people. It is also a well established fact that Hamas and their supporters will lie through their teeth.

So it's probable based upon historical information and factual information that Hamas has a tunnel under this hospital. And this doctor is either lying about it because he's a sympathizer or he's being threatened.

if it's so "well established" where is the evidence? Repeated statements sans evidence by Israeli officials is not evidence. The question was about whether or not Hamas uses the main Gaza hospital as a military base.

The ICC considers the use of human shields to be a war crime, yes.

I do not know what are best solutions for this complex situation. Both sides are doing wrong things and UN is too weak to enforce anything in the area.

It is really easy - Hamas should stop firing thousands of rockets and openly calling for the elimination of the Jews and come to Diplomatic negotiations. It works better than Killing babies and people at music festivals -

Bombing refugee camps is just disgusting; there is no other way around it. If there were terrorists embedded among the people at the camp, a ground operation would have been a much better option to root them out. Most of the victims I have seen being pulled from the rubble and in the hospital have been women and small children. This incident will receive condemnation from around the world, and rightfully so.

I agree it's horrible, and Hamas should be condemned for it, by the international community as a war crime.

...Hiding behind civilians, in war, is the dirtiest of dirty things.

Assuming this was an Israeli airstrike, I have to question the targetting decision making of the IDF. Whatever military objectives were achieved by this action are far exceeded by the (justified) International outcry for over the human loss.
