USA rewards guilty pleas all the time.

In both you admit you did it.Plea bargaining and confession are two very different things.
I think the opposite. When I used to travel quite a bit for work, I had packing down to an art - down to what can be in carry-on, what needs to be checked, and what needs to be left at home because it is not permitted by TSA or not permitted by arrival destinations. I would think a WBNA player constantly on the move from city to city should be very skilled and experienced at packing. I'll concede that there is equal probability she was as careless as there is probability of an intentional act. But I consider neither much of a justification.
And, if it was something that could land me in the slammer, I was paying very close attention.
A spoon works better.I think the same way....even so, one butter knife that I used to spread peanut butter on my toast some how found it's way into my work backpack. Much to my embarrassment, it was discovered by the TSA a few weeks later.
Brittney Griner trial: Russian court hands down verdict, sentence in WNBA star's case
Anyone know what the sentence would be for the same crime in US or Europe after pleading guilty?
because america doesn't indefinitely lock up foreigners?
She isn't in the US or EU. She is, however, a complete idiot for trying to smuggle dope into an authoritarian countr. Philipines they'd have hanged her.Brittney Griner trial: Russian court hands down verdict, sentence in WNBA star's case

Or goaltending. Or travelling.Especially if they're holding.

There's currently no death penalty in the Philippines. She isn't in the US or EU. She is, however, a complete idiot for trying to smuggle dope into an authoritarian countr. Philipines they'd have hanged her.
I think Victorinox Swiss Army knife is harder to detect because the knife part is folded in with the screwdrivers, saw, etc. I don't know what it looks like in the detector, probably like a lump of metal. Mine always got through. Are the expensive ones immune to metal detection?
Officially, but Duterte was notorious for extrajudicial executions of drug dealers and drug users. I don't know about the current guy, Bongbong Marcos. There's currently no death penalty in the Philippines.
Thailand (Brokedown Palace). Turkey was Midnight Express. One thing is for sure, she'll be fluent in Russian by the time she gets out! Stuff like this happens all the time. They used to have a show called Locked Up Abroad about Americans unaware of laws in the country they visited and ending up locked up. In one episode there were two teenage white girls who got life in prison in some country like Turkey or something for drug trafficking when a local guy one was dating tricked them into carrying luggage with drugs in it unknown to them. You have to be very careful when traveling overseas, those other countries don't play like we do here in America.
REALLY?Who he?
