Good morning,

Iconographer and Symbologist Jonathan Pageau is releasing a graphic novel based on St. Christopher (the Dog-headed Saint), and it is looking to be quite AWESOME. My daughter will love it. It is currently in production and will be sent out in January.

I'm not in any way connected to Mr. Pageau. I just want to see this project flourish because it is an opportunity for the Gospel to reach a wider audience through the medium of graphic novels. It is also a form of Christian art that is of good quality and creativity worthy of the LORD, and is not cringeworthy like so much mainstream Christian pop media.

real "Dog faced puffer fish"

Sometimes nature does create similar looking creatures.

Which should not be confused with the "Dog-faced pony soldier"

nice! what did you like about part 1?

Part one was cool. St Simeon the Stylite has a brief feature in the beginning. Turns out the main hero is St. George, or a fictional version of him. After meeting ”Reprobus” the dog monster, the story takes us to Nimrod and the Nephilim. The first book was more an introduction to the main characters and story, but I have a feeling it will keep getting deeper as it progresses. At this point, the rag tag party is on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
