(Part 1)
Spirit, Soul, and Body

"For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing." (Romans 7:15-18)

Paul knew... that the spirit of Christ indwelt his born-again spirit. Therefore, he couldn't be technically correct and say, "In me... dwells no good thing" without the clarifying statement "that is, in my flesh." Paul acknowledged his born-again spirit, but declared, "there is no good thing in my flesh--my unrenewed mind and physical body, all the external parts of me functioning independent from Christ. There's nothing good about that! I'm going to have to lay this flesh down and receive a new body and a new soul, which are completely renewed and think exactly like God.

I know that... in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

"For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members." (Romans 7:18-23)

Sounds a lot... like what he wrote in (Galatians 5:17), "The flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would." (Romans 7:23) summarizes Paul's dismal dilemma, "O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?"

Romans 7... doesn't teach that Paul was constantly trying and failing to do the right thing. he wasn't describing his present Christian life and saying that this is the way it is. Paul wasn't confessing that after all those years... he was still struggling with lust, sexual sin, anger, and bitterness. Neither was he saying, "You have this flesh, and try as you might, you can never beat it."

Paul was simply... describing the inability of the flesh---your physical ability, natural mind, emotions, and actions all independent from Christ... to please God. You cannot overcome your flesh on your own; you have to (start living) from who you are (in Christ). Your spirit man is completely changed and infused with the life of God. You can only please Him through living by your spirit.

The Christian life...
isn't just difficult to live-- It's impossible! In (your flesh), you can't do what the Lord has told you to do. He's commanded you to just bear it when someone insults you. If they sue you and take away your coat, you're to turn the other cheek. If they slap you on the face, you're to give them your cloak as well. If someone forces you to carry their burden one mile against your will, go two miles (Matthew 5:39-41). Your natural self, independent of God, just won't do things like that.

It's natural... to be self-serving, self-seeking, and self-promoting. If someone slaps you on the cheek, you want to hit both of theirs. If someone takes something from you through a lawsuit, you want to hire the best lawyer to sue them back. But the Lord's told you to do the opposite. Without supernatural assistance, it's impossible to do what Jesus commands. That's why Paul declared, "It's no longer me that lives but Christ who lives through me" (Galatians 2:20).

There's a... tremendous amount of liberty that comes with recognizing and releasing Christ (in you). You don't have to say in the flesh "Well, I will to love you" and then turn the other cheek through (gritted teeth). It's much better to pray, "Father, in myself, I'd like to knock their block off." Your flesh cannot do this: Paul described this in Romans 7, "but in my spirit, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I have the (same spirit) that Jesus had when He hung (on the cross) and forgave the very people... who crucified Him!

"Father...! I don't feel like it right now, but I know I have the same spirit that enabled Jesus to extend mercy to those who mocked Him. (In the natural), I can't do this. Father, please live through me now. Give me a supernatural compassion for this person so I can love them!"

Peter thought... he was being very generous when he asked, "how many times should I forgive my brother... up to seven times a day?" Jesus answered, "not seven times but seventy times seven" (Matthew 18:21-22). That's (490 times) in one day! This was His way of communicating that there shouldn't be a limit on your forgiveness.

The Lord... wants you to forgive totally, as much and as many times as it takes. In your flesh, you might be able to forgive a person for some minor things once, twice, or even seven times in a day (Peter thought he might be able to do that). But what Jesus asked goes far beyond your human ability. The only way you can forgive like that is by saying, "Father, I can't do it, but you can. Lord, please love them through me." When you humble yourself, turning away from your own natural ability and to God and His divine ability, you'll discover a supernatural strength flowing through you.

You have an unlimited supply of God's kind of love in your spirit. "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). His love never fails! (vs. 8)

(Part 2)
Spirit, Soul, and Body

In your spirit... you have an unlimited ability to forgive, endure, believe, and hope. If... you catch yourself remarking "I can't put up with this person anymore. I just can't take it. I've come to the end of my flesh. That's good. Now let your spirit take over.

You Can to - pray, "God, I'm sorry! I've been trying this in myself, which is why I'm burned out, frustrated, and angry. Forgive me and live Your life through me. I believe Your Word. (In the spirit), I am a brand-new person. If I walk (in the spirit), I won't fulfill the lust of the flesh." Then, start meditating on who you are and what you have (in Christ). "By faith, this is who I choose to believe I am."

That's... renewing your mind and releasing the supernatural life of God but of your spirit into your soul and body. When your physical mind comes into agreement with your spiritual mind, you can literally begin to hope, endure, and believe in things that you couldn't have done by your natural self!

I've been able... to love the many different people who have come out against me. For instance, a man I was witnessing to spat in my face. People have tried to physically assault me. Some other well-known ministers publicly called me a "cult leader" and "of the devil." A person stole $20,000 from our ministry. I've even been kidnapped and had threats on my life. But in all of this (and more), I can truthfully tell you that I have nothing against any of these people. I harbor no evil thoughts. I've completely forgiven each and every one. How? I renewed my mind to God's Word and released the love and forgiveness that's (in my spirit). You can do it too.

Releasing Your True Identify: You can't please God if you're (in the flesh). Romans 7 describes living by your own natural, carnal ability. That's why the results are defeat, failure, and an inability to do desired good (Romans 7:19). (In your flesh), you can't overcome, turn the other cheek, or forgive an unlimited number of times. That's why Paul said of his flesh? "O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" (v. 24). In other words, Paul asked, "Who will deliver me from this flesh?"

The very next... verse contains the answer. "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord" (v.25). Deliverance from the flesh comes through living by who you are (in the spirit). From here, Paul launches right into Romans 8 with "There is therefore." "Therefore" refers back to what has previously been said, which is that the flesh cannot please God Romans 7. For that reason, you must walk after the Spirit Romans 8.

"There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Your spirit... is the only part of you in (Christ Jesus), If you are (in the spirit), there is no condemnation to you whatever. That's good news!

Romans 8... one of the most victorious chapters in the whole Bible because it's written from the perspective of your born-again spirit. The frustration of living after the flesh described in Romans 7 is not the typical Christian life. Romans 7 speaks of a person trying to please God through their own natural effort. "O God, I'm trying to do better. I want to do better, but I just can't!" Why? It's Romans 8 that describes the typical Christian life. You've got to get over into the spirit.

This revelation of... spirit, soul, and body unlocks so much of the Christian life. How can you live (in the spirit) if you don't know that it was your spirit that changed? When you understand this, you can begin comprehending that who you are and what you have (in Christ) doesn't fluctuate based on your performance. How can you release something you don't know or don't believe you have? Once you do believe, you must reject the flesh and walk by who you are (in the spirit). Cultivate a good image of who you are (in Christ)... and let that become the real you. It's just a matter of discovering and releasing your true identity.

An Extroverted Introvert: Through this, God's done a miracle in my life. I was extremely introverted before being turned on to the Lord. Because of nervousness and self-consciousness, I couldn't look someone in the face and talk without stammering. Now God has me (spreading) to millions of people face to face in meetings all around the world, sometimes up to five thousand at once. Yet, (I'm not afraid)... because it doesn't bother me anymore. I'm focused on who I am (in the spirit).

My flesh... is the same as it always was. I still have a tendency to be introverted. In fact, when I'm not focused on the Lord and someone catches me (in the flesh), I still want to withdraw, not exert myself, and just go sit in the background. This natural part of me hasn't changed.

Most people... think they're improving their flesh when they're born-again. that's simply not true! You don't improve your natural self through the Christian life, you must become better at denying it. The improvement comes by choosing to recognize your new identity (in Christ)... and letting those thoughts and actions manifest from your spirit.

If I were to... take personality tests today, I would score the maximum in every category for extroverts. That's who I've chosen to be and who I've become (In Christ). it's who my born-again spirit is. If you could somehow test me apart from my godly reactions, you'd find I'm still an introvert in my flesh.

Living from the Spirit: The Christian life isn't your natural flesh becoming stronger in godliness so that you don' need the Holy Spirit as much as when you first began. Rather, it's growing stronger (in the spirit) and weaker (in the flesh). The flesh's dominance steadily diminishes as you learn to consistently depend on and draw out more of what's in your spirit as you... renew your mind.

Focus on... who you are (in the spirit) by meditating on God's Word, and your flesh will bow the knees to the spirit's rule and reign. "Walk (in the Spirit), and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would" (Galatians 5:16-17). You'll break the control of the flesh as you base your identity and potential on what the Word says about who you are (in Christ). Instead of being controlled by your old carnal self, your spirit man will begin to dominate.

My flesh... is still basically timid and shy, but my spirit is as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). Some people who travel on airlines push their way up to the counter and make demands whenever something goes wrong. I'm quite the opposite. I actually set my travel agent cards aside because the ticket agents almost never grant me any of those discounts. I'm just not a pushy guy. Yet, I can be very bold and assertive when it comes to spiritual matters, or anything else of value to me. People have challenged me (in services) before. It's like the spirit of might come upon me, and I just take care of the situation (Isaiah 11:2). That's because I've learned how to live more from my spirit than my flesh... by renewing my mind.

(Part 1)

Through... spiritual dyslexia, most people perceive (Galatians 5:16) completely backwards. "This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh. "They recognize that the flesh and the spirit are contrary but assume that they're automatically walking in the spirit if they just deny their flesh. Therefore, they put all of their focus on quitting this and rejecting that, thinking, If I can just stop doing these bad things and having these foul thoughts, then I'll be in the spirit. Wrong! This verse doesn't say "Walk in the Spirit, and you'll hinder the Spirit" or "Overcome the flesh, and then you'll walk in the Spirit." No!... It declares just the opposite: "Walk in the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh."

Darkness is... simply the absence of light. You can't get rid of darkness by shoveling it out of the room. However, if you turn on a light, it'll flee. When you walk in the Spirit (turn on the light), by default... as a by-product... you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh (darkness flees). Willpower is the shovel of the flesh. If you fell you can't really accept who you are (in Christ) until after you overcome the darkness in your life...drinking, cussing, smoking, or whatever problems in your life... drinking, cussing, smoking, or whatever problems you currently have... you'll just end up frustrated and stuck (Romans 7).

It's not that... God won't release His power to you; it's just that you haven't yet flipped the switch. Lay that shovel down and turn on the light! Get into God's Word and start recognizing and meditating on who are you (in Christ). As you focus your attending continually on the reality of your new identify, the brightness of who you are (in the Spirit) will begin to shine in and through you to such a degree that it'll break the control of the flesh and deliver you from these external problems. Light always overwhelms and chases away the dark.

A friend of mine... used to be a well-known (secular entertainer) who wrote several famous songs. While in this profession, he became born-again. After finishing a concert at midnight, he'd hop on the bus with his musicians and start traveling to their next gig. Excited about God and His Word, my friend actually snorted cocaine off the pages of His Bible so he could stay awake and keep reading about how much the Lord loved him!

Today, this man... has been a pastor for over twenty years. How did he overcome his flesh and its bad habits? Did he quit snorting cocaine and all the other ungodly things he was doing first? No, this man didn't let his vices keep him from beginning to find out what God's Word said about him. He (centered his attention) on discovering who he was (in Christ) and what all Jesus had done for him. As those things became reality to him, he finally came to a place where God led him out of that lifestyle.

God wants you... to come to Him just as you are. After you're born-again and changed inside, renew your mind to who you are (in Christ). As you find out who you are (in your spirit), you'll change outwardly as a result. If you'll just start walking in the Spirit by focusing your attention on the things of God, regardless of what your flesh is like, you'll break its dominion over you.

(Focus, Quality, and Quantity) You can know whether you're walking in the Spirit or not by what your attention is on. "They that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit." (Romans 8:5). What you're thinking about will tell you whether you're in the flesh or in the spirit.

Where is your focus?... If the doctor says you're going to die, are you more dominated by his word or God's Word? Are you imagining and anticipating sickness, disease, and death? Or are you (focused) on the scriptures that declare He's taken away all your sickness and by His stripes you were healed of every disease? Are you centered in on the spirit or the flesh?

If your mind is... stayed on the things of the flesh, then you're in the flesh. You cannot please God (Romans 8:8; Hebrews 11:6). Being in the flesh will make it difficult to prevail against an ailment. You could very well die physically even though God's healing and raising-from-the-dead power is already inside your born-again spirit. Whatever your mind focuses on determines whether you're in the flesh or not. It's really that simple.

By learning to... keep your mind stayed on God. your spirit will dominate and control your flesh. "To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace" (Romans 8:6). This isn't just an issue of quality time; it concerns both quality and quantity of time spent focused on the things of God.

Fleshly mindedness... is death. Carnal is related to the five senses. "Carnal mindedness is being fleshly, physical, and outward minded instead of spiritually minded. It's being dominated by your five senses. If your body is facing sickness and you're more in tune with and sensitive to what you feel (flesh) than what you believe (Word), then you're carnal. To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

(Whose Report Will You Believe?) You need to get to where you believe God's report more than the worlds. You've crossed over into the spirit when God's Word dominates you more than what you can see, taste, hear, smell, and feel. Instead of hearing the devil tell you what you can't do or somebody else saying that you'll die or your checkbook telling you you're in deep trouble again, focus your attention on what God says about you, what He says you have, and what He says you can do. Once you do that, by renewing your mind you'll find it'll break the dominion, the power, and the control of the flesh over you.

Physical healing... was purchased through Christ's atonement. It's not just a "P.S." to forgiveness of sin; healing is an integral part of what Jesus died to produce. In fact, His sacrifice provides physical healing just as much as forgiveness of sin. God would no more give someone sickness than lead them into sin. Why? Jesus shed His precious blood to (completely redeem) us from both! (For an in-depth look at healing, I recommend my teaching entitled (God Wants You Well).

Seeing a truth... doesn't mean you'll automatically profit from it. Actually, conflict will normally arise. (Hebrews 10:32) reveals that once you're enlightened, you endure ("a great fight of afflictions.") The reason is that Satan immediately comes to steal the Word before it takes root in your heart and produces (Mark 4:15, 19). He attempts to dislodge it when you're at your youngest (in your growth as a believer, not your age), when a truth is still new to you, before it's rooted and established as part of... who you are (in Christ).

Once I saw in... the Word that it's (always) God's will to heal, the fight was on. Satan came against me, and I started experiencing sickness more than ever before. Immediately, there was intense conflict between my flesh and spirit. The spirit declared, "By His stripes I was healed, (it's already done)" and "The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is inside of me", (1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:18; 1:19-20). (In my spirit), I had this resurrection power, but my flesh kept arguing, "You're sick. You feel terrible and you're about to throw up. Admit it." There was this incredible conflict between what I say (saw in my spirit) through God's Word and what I felt in my physical body. My flesh and my spirit were fighting each other!

This was just... my unrenewed mind, not some "old nature" inside trying to make me disbelieve God. For a number of years, my "old man" taught me how to believe only what I could see, taste, hear, smell, and feel (Ephesians 4:22). Anything and everything else beyond this were wrong. Everything in my physical, natural, fleshly realm screamed, "You're sick!" My body told me that I hurt. Other people commented on how bad I looked. So, it was a real struggle for my mind to believe what I couldn't see that my old man was (past tense) crucified with Christ and... DEAD!

I just determined... (in my heart) that I would not give up or give in until I saw with my physical eyes the truth of God's Word manifest in my body. I was so committed to the fact what God said about me was true that I decided to make myself believe it.

(Special thanks to Andrew Wommack)

(Part 2)

Cracking the Dam: At the time, I was living and pastoring a small church in Segoville, Texas. I Preached healing and bad revelation knowledge of it, but I was sick in my body. The devil was fighting me. My flesh and my spirit were knocking heads.

Since faith... without works is dead, I decided one night not to just lay in bed and "act sick" (James 2;17, 20,26). I didn't want to kill my faith by giving in to the pressure. However, it was physically impossible for me to stand up because I was so ill. I had to kneel on the floor in the living room so my wife could go ahead and sleep. Putting my Bible on the wood floor in from of me, I determined (in my heart) that I was going to fight this thing!

I spent hours... just quoting scriptures on healing. I didn't stop because I knew I'd fall asleep out of sheer exhaustion if I did. I'd confess aloud, "By his stripes, I was healed." My body would counter, "Oh no, you're not!" Then I'd answer, "Yes, I am... the Word says so!" This fight continued around the room on hands and knees just to stay awake.
You don't have to do it the way I did, but you will have to overcome the same conflict. You don't just say, "All right, I see the truth. Flesh! I now renounce you and choose to walk (by the spirit)." No, it'll be a traumatic experience when you turn around and head the other direction. Your mind and emotions have been indulged now for many years.

They've always said... that whatever you see is more real than what's invisible. There's going to be a fight, and it probably won't all happen in just one evening's time. That night proved to be a major break for me. I (cracked the dam) of flesh that held back the flow of God's life in me. My spirit began dominating from that point forward little by little. I still deal with these same things, but I've grown a lot. I'm seeing (tremendous victory) in my life, and I'm able to help many other people. I'm still in process, but I'm renewing my mind and (winning the battle)... between my flesh... and my spirit.

Misleading Evaluation: Recently, I was required to take a treadmill test while receiving a qualifying physical for insurance policy. However, since i refused to allow them to shave my chest hair (because I'd never had my chest shaved before), the electrodes fell off after only twelve minutes. Several weeks later the insurance company called and said they couldn't insure me. They cited the fact that my readings indicated I had a serious heart problem that surfaced at about the twelfth minute of the test. When I asked them if the electrodes falling off would've made a difference or not, they decided to give me another test.

This time... I let them shave my chest, finished the test without incident, and waited for the doctor to review my results. He was fine with my readings up until about the thirteenth minute of the test. That's when he got a worried look on his face and told me I had a serious problem. This medical professional then advised me of my "need" to see a specialist that very day and began writing out the note for me to give to another doctor.

I boldly looked... this man in the face and declared, "I don't believe your results." It was easy to see that he wasn't used to someone countering his opinion. However, I challenged him to look again at the printout and then honestly tell me that I had a heart problem.

He replied... "Well, this doesn't really say you have a heart problem. It's just that your results are completely typical. Since everyone's heart is a little different, you could be totally healthy. I just think you should go get another test." "That's not what you said!" I thundered, "You told me I had a serious heart problem, not that there's a small chance and you think I should get another opinion." This guy backed down and sputtered, "You're fine... just forget about that other test."

Most people... would have taken the word of this doctor over the Word of God, which emphatically declares that we're healed. By the time they finished obsessing about it, their hearts would have failed... from fear (Luke 21:26). The next time you're faced with a report that's contrary to God's Word, who will you choose to believe?

Overcome Your Flesh: You overcome by being mindful of what God's Word says about you... especially the New Testament. When you're Word minded, you're (spiritually minded) because God's Words are spirit and life (John 6:63). In your spirit, you're completely changed, eternal, sanctified, holy, and perfected forever. As Jesus is... so are you! So, if you'd dominate yourself with those thoughts, it will produce life and peace.

If you're... experiencing something other than life and peace, then you're something other than spiritually minded (Romans 8:6). You may desire the right things, praying and begging God for them, but you don't receive victory by desiring or begging for it. You receive the victory. He's already achieved and provided for you by (focusing your attention)... on the spirit. When you do that, you'll overcome.

In my opinion... you won't manifest must of the life of God if you're plugged into the world through radio, television, newspapers, and magazines. it takes a lot of effort... real effort... to (keep your focus) on the things of God. How can you expect different results when you read, watch, listen to, and think all the same things as your unbelieving neighbors?

That's ignorance... gone to seed! Sure, you might be able to add a devotion and intellectually know that God wants you healed, prospered, and delivered from oppression. You may even have a desire for and a sensitivity to God that they don't have. But as far as results go, you won't really experience any more of God's miraculous power in your life as long as you (continue thinking) on the same carnal things that the world does pretty much all day long. To get different results, you have to do something differently!

If you... mind the things of the flesh, then you'll be after the flesh; the physical realm will dominate you. You won't be able to please God (Romans 8:8) or experience the victory that's available to you. In order to release God's power and life, you must (overcome the flesh) by continually focusing your mind on (who you are) and what you have (in the spirit) and... then, renew your mind!

Thanks John... It's always a pleasure to hear from you. As I was listening to the songs on my post, I was thinking about AblessedMan (Bob). Let's pray together that God will get his but back in here. We all miss him.

Your friend, Harry...
Hello Brother,
Bob had a positive impact on my understanding of Word Of Faith.
I find myself bringing back to memory His Teachings.
Bob also was a good mentor in some of the subjects He warned me About.
I know I sound like He is Gone from the earth, but that’s not my intention.
Bob would challenge a person, and be contrary so you would work harder to prove your point, thats the mark of a good Teacher.
If you could yell via text I believe a few times He was yelling at me to stop and think lol.
Quite frankly with never meeting face to face I grew to know Him as a person that even the keyboard could not hide His passion for teaching.
Our lives go through some real twists and turns, it would be nice to have Him stop in once in a while.

I looked at Carm to see what that was all about, bickering harsh words is what I found.
I post in comments on other media , YouTube, etc.
I have certainly had enough bickering for a very long time.
The Body of Christ was and will be under attack until the Great day of our Lord's return.
God Bless You My Friend

When you make... Jesus Christ Lord of your life by truly believing on Him, an instantaneous change takes place. This change occurs in your spirit, not your flesh... (body and soul). Whether the change ever manifests itself in your physical realm depends on what you think.

The flesh... (your natural self), pulls in one direction, and your spirit leads you in another. How you think determines what you experience. If your mind stays only on physical things... not even necessarily sinful things, just physical... then you'll be limited to and (dominated) by your flesh. You might even be a very moral person, but you won't experience the supernatural life of God.

The only way... you'll experience the power of God within you is to walk (in the spirit). For instance, believing to raise someone from the dead goes beyond just living a good life. You must believe in something that has no proof or evidence in the physical realm whatsoever. You have to get beyond the physical and acknowledge that there is a spiritual world. As you recognize your true power and believe the spiritual realm will become more real to you than the physical.

This applies to... prosperity also. There will be times when there's no basis for faith in your physical facts. Your bank statement won't reflect prosperity. Everything in the natural may be coming against the Word of God, but if you stay (in the spirit), fixed on what God's Word says, you'll be able to see yourself prosperous when circumstances suggest the opposite. Others may be trying to repossess your car or foreclose on your house. As you hold on to God's Word, your spirit will overcome your flesh and break its dominion. That's when you'll see the Word manifest!

Peace: You can be spiritually minded. Whatever you (continually) think on will dominate you (Proverbs 23:7). If you (think on who you are) and what you have (in Christ), then that's what will eventually manifest in your physical life.

One-third... of your salvation is already complete. Your born-again spirit isn't in the process of growing or maturing. Right now (in your spirit), you are exactly the way you'll be throughout eternity (1 John 4:17). You have a physical body and soul that haven't been changed yet. They are subject to change and can change, but it's not automatic. However, the change of your spirit at salvation was total, complete, and automatic.

Whether you... ever see your true spiritual potential released into your physical life or not depends on (what you think) (Romans 12:2). If natural things... either sinful or just plain carnal... dominate and control your thoughts, you'll shut off the flow of God's Spirit (through you). But, if you dominate yourself with the truths (of His Word)... and get beyond the natural limitations of your five senses, you can start releasing the supernatural life that's (inside you).

You'll be able... to experience a peace that passeth (understanding). Even when it seems like everyone's against you and everything's crashing in the physical realm, you'll enjoy God's supernatural peace as long as you (stay focused) on the Word. "And the peace of God, which passeth all (understanding), shall keep your hearts and minds... through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7).

On the night... before His crucifixion, Jesus told His disciples, "Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God,
believe also in me"
(John 14:11) To the natural mind, this sounds unreasonable in light of the situation. Their Messiah, the One they loved and worshiped. was about to be executed. There's no natural way they could have peace in the (midst of something) like that, but Jesus had given them His Word. He'd told them (many times), "I'll be crucified, but I'll rise again on the third day. "If they had meditated on and dominated themselves by what Jesus had said, they would have released the supernatural peace of God they needed for that trying situation (Christ's last-minute instructions to His disciples for (overcoming crisis situations)... are thoroughly unpacked in my teaching entitled Christian Survival Kit).

What Will You Think
?: If you want to experience God's best, you must (understand) these truths concerning (spirit, soul, and body). You have unlimited potential, but it's all... in the spirit. The victory God's given you isn't in your flesh, but it's in (the part of you) that's been born-again. As you mature in the Christian life, you don't become less carnal; you just let... less carnality dominate and manifest because you're yielded (to the spirit) instead.

Through God's Word... concentrate on seeing who you are (in Christ). Spend less time feeding the flesh and focus on the spirit instead. Surround yourself with people who speak faith, are positive, and center in on the potential we have... (in Christ) as you dominate yourself with what you see (in the spiritual mirror) of God's Word.

Nothing can separate... you from God's love because your born-again spirit has been (sanctified and perfected) forever. God is a Spirit, and He sees you (in the spirit). (John 4:24). He fellowships with you... Spirit to born-again spirit. God doesn't give you what you deserve based on your (thoughts) and (physical) actions in your flesh; rather, He deals with you in the spirit realm. That's why He'll receive you at any time, in any condition... as your His beloved child!

You're constantly... being fed information and drawn in one of two directions... the (flesh or the spirit)... (Galatians 5:17). The Holy Spirit always endeavors to draw you toward God and remind you of your new (identity in Christ). Satan, through the world, its images and voices... news media, movies, Internet, books, newspapers, magazines, associations, and even church organizations who are mistaken in some of their beliefs... (constantly) pushes you to accept defeat. "Remember"... it's what you (continually think on) is what you'll experience (Proverbs 23:7).

Your flesh and spirit... (constantly fight each other) in you mind (soul). God proclaims, "You can do all things through Christ." The world answers, "No, you can't. You're just a failure!" On and on, the daily battle rages. That's why this life-changing truth isn't just something you learn one time and conclude, "I've got it!" This understanding of (spirit, soul, and body) should motivate you to aggressively pursue... renewing your mind to God's Word... a process that will continue for the rest of your life.

Soak Your Mind: Soak your mind in these truths God has spoken. You might need to go back and reread this book in a week or in a couple of months. Perhaps, you should consider ordering the audio series so you can listen to this teaching again and again. Whatever you do, meditate on the Word and renew your mind... on these truths until they come alive to you. Then, keep them refreshed by occasionally coming back to them.

God spoke... these truths to me over 35 years ago, but I'm still in the process of renewing my mind to them. Over time, He's been expanding, developing, and given me even more understanding on this. I feel like the apostle Paul, who after twenty or more years of (knowing) and (serving) God, said, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13-14).

Don't be discouraged!... I'm not saying you have to wait a long time before you see any results. I just want you (to know) that until you see Christ face to face, you never arrived, you just leave. And if the Lord has spoken to you through this teaching, you need to leave right now! Turn from carnal mindedness, and (start being dominated) by your born-again spirit instead. Discover the realities concerning who you are in the spirit and let them control you. When you do, you'll experience life and peace. It really is that simple.

But it's not easy... In fact, changing your focus from the (flesh to the spirit) is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. It's a gradual, but total, reprogramming of your natural mind to agree with your spirit. Through the renewing your mind to God's Word, you can become spiritually minded.

What God has... spoken to you (through this book) has the potential of radically changing your life, but! Applying these truths will take some real (focus and effort) on your part. "However", the good news is that God wants you to (fully understand) and walk in them even more than you do. He'll faithfully do His part if you'll just head in that direction (acknowledging) that "God, it's going to take a miracle to renew my mind! It's so used to being dominated by the flesh. I'm really going to need (Your help)." The Holy Spirit will (reveal to you) who you are (in Christ). He'll show you Jesus, spiritual truth, and reality. It just takes (commitment and effort)... on your part to focus on the Word and the spirit.

Begin Now: In light of what you've read, I encourage you to pray out loud the following prayer from your heart:

Father, I open my heart to the Holy Spirit to continue revealing these truths to me. I recognize that this is a process and not just a one-time thing. Therefore, I ask You to give me greater revelation of (spirit, soul, and body) throughout the rest of my life. As I apply what You've shown me, please encourage me with some quick results. I want to establish new patterns of walking by the spirit o I can live a full and effective life in You.

Thank You for bringing these truths to my remembrance when I need them. Thank You for helping me to share them with others so they too can break free from their flesh's dominion. Thank You for setting me free and using me to set many free too! I love You, Father. In Jesus name. Amen

This concludes... this teaching by Andrew Wommack on (Spirit, Soul and Body). I pray for those who followed along have received a revelation of the new (created spirit) that dwells within us when we received Christ as our personal Saviour. As we constantly renew our mind with His Word to renew interpretation of His Word to our (soul)... which is our (mind, will, and emotions)... and receive the precious knowledge, wisdom, and the understanding of His Word... to manifest in every situation in your walk with Jesus Christ... and to meet and exceed every one of your needs.

Calling Your Dreams Into Existence

(I found this article by Jerry Savelle on calling your dreams into existence. God called Abraham "Father" before he actually became a father. God was "calling things that were not as though they were" found in His Word... (Romans 4:17). If God put a dream in your heart, It's worth waiting for. Expect them to become a reality in your daily walk with Christ). (emphasis mine)

A little bit about Jerry...

Dr. Jerry Savelle: Jerry was an average, blue-collar man who was struggling and needed God's help. While he considered himself just a "nobody," he then... as a believer joined the Word of Faith movement... and God told him not to worry about it (being a nobody) because He was a master at making champions out of nobodies. God has since taken Jerry from being a (constant quitter) to a man who knows how to stand on the Word of God until victory is experienced. Because of his life-changing combination of God's faithfulness and his "no quit" attitude, his life is totally different than it was many years ago.

Since 1969... Jerry has been traveling the world teaching people how to win in life. Savelle has ministered in more than three thousand churches and in twenty-six nations, and has overseas offices in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. If you see Jerry somewhere ministering, he may be with Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis.

P0iD2ZZBl3j0-yZvccYhRn0CYITgG94jv4Ob2mTzgIqVMSiFqEMrreS9GSiazIj7JFNlOiHPpG4Mj9JSvi9UAmgd_wRevUgqXTguIH0cTuRlogYNj2Zb1sQccZECgApuMKy5Md77

His article: Do you want your dreams to come to pass? Then create an atmosphere of faith and associate with the right people. Don't talk your dreams to non-dreamers. Don't ever give up on your dream. God declared something about Abraham when in the natural realm he was not this at all. God called Abraham "Father" before he actually became a father. In other words, God was "calling things that were not as though they were."

God said... "You'll be a father!" And as far as God was concerned, that settled it. "I don't care if your wife is barren, and you're 100 years old, I said you'll have a child. I said your descendants will be as the stars in the sky and the sands on the sea. So, I'll call you father until you actually become a father."

Did you know... that right now God is calling you something different than what others are calling you? God's calling you a champion. God's calling you more than a conqueror. God's calling you a world overcomer. I don't care if you're at the end of your rope. I don't care if, in the natural, there's nothing working for you. That's not the way God's looking at you.

I remember... when I first came to the Lord, I said, "What could You possibly do with me? I'm a failure." He said, "Don't worry about it. I'm a master at making champions out of failures." That settled it for me. With one word, God can make something out of nothing. Do you know what that tells me? It's time to get into (fellowship) with God and hear that one word that will change your life.

When everything... was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway. He decided not to live on the basis of what he knew he couldn't do, but rather on the basis of what God said he would do. When God calls for something in the spirit realm, not yet seen in the natural realm, the word call takes on the meaning of a summons. In a court of law, someone may be summoned to appear in court.

That means they received a call or a letter to appear in court in order to testify as to what they know or what they have seen. You know as well as I do that once a summons has been issued, if you don't obey, you could be legally penalized. Well, when God calls for something, a summons has been released and now the thing summoned for must appear in the natural. Whatever God has put in your heart, then you must call for it.

Start calling... for those finances! Call for health. Call for that family member to be saved. It may not exist now, but you're calling for nonexistent things as if they do exist. You have an image of it. It's real on the inside of you and it was birthed there from the promises of God. First the call, then the summons and now the thing you called for has "a divine appointment" with you. That's how the spirit of faith works.

Once I call for whatever I'm believing God for, a summons has been issued, and it must appear. No demon in hell can stop it. The only person who can stop this from happening is me. How? By getting weary, giving up and aborting the dream. So, wait earnestly for it. It doesn't make any difference how long it takes. The name of the game is to win.

So, do you want... your dreams to come to pass? Then create an atmosphere of faith and associate with the right people. Don't talk your dreams to non-dreamers. Don't ever give up on your dream. No matter how long it takes, no matter what kind of obstacles or barriers you may be facing - don't give up!

Sow into the dreams of others, and God will bring others to sow into your dreams. Pursue your dreams with everything in you. Call for your dreams. Expect your dreams to become a reality and continually watch for them because they will come to pass!

If God... put this dream in your heart, then it's worth waiting for. You'll never regret waiting for your dream.

(Special thanks to... Jerry Savelle)

There is no... limit to what the Spirit-filled Christian can do for God, no matter where he is, if he will learn the (fundamentals) of faith... dare to believe God, and (just act) on His Word. We are going to... study several Scripture passages that I believe will be of a great help to you as you learn some faith basics. Begin by reading (Hebrews 11:1) "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Those first... words tell you (what faith is). "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for...." Have you ever hoped for something? Hope is important. If you (lose) hope... you have lost a lot. Hope is a... vital link to workable faith. I (mix faith) with hope. If you have no hope, faith alone will not produce results. Faith gives (substance) to hope. Faith is the (evidence) of things (not seen).

Hope is the... climate in which faith works. If you SEE something, you do not need faith. It is there already. Faith is the (evidence) of things NOT seen..." (Hebrews 11:2) says, "For by it (faith) the elders obtained a good report." Faith (always) has a good report. If you have a bad report, then faith... is not speaking.

(Hebrews 11:3) says... "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God...." You DO NOT understand God's principles with your intellect. You understand only... by faith. One day my daughter, Tamara, asked me, "Daddy, where did God come from?" I said, "Darling, just don't trouble your mind about that. You may learn that in eternity."

You are not... going to understand a lot of things in the natural—with your (carnal mind). It is through faith that you understand. You may say, "I just don't know how I can ever get well, be successful, or obtain financial prosperity...I just don't know how." Through faith you CAN understand. The Word says: (Hebrews 11:3-5).

"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were (not made) of things which do appear.

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that (he was righteous), God testifying by his gifts: and by it, he... (being dead), yet he speaks.

By faith... Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this (testimony) that he had pleased God."

(Hebrews 11:6)... is a very important Scripture. "But without faith it is (impossible) to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." So... You cannot please God without... faith!

A lot of people... want to (try) faith. Faith is not a formula to (try) in emergencies. Faith is a way of life. And as we read, "without faith it is impossible to please Him (God)." This is not a chance statement. It is a fact of God's Word that... it is NOT possible to please God without faith. It makes no difference (what you do!), (what you say!), or (how good you live), you cannot please God... (unless) you are functioning in faith.

(A Little Bit About... Annette Capps)

Annette Capps is the daughter of author and Word of Faith teacher Charles Capps and Peggy Capps. She is an ordained minister, business woman and pilot. Since the age of 14, she has ministered in churches and several foreign countries. A licensed pilot, she has flown her airplane throughout the United States, conducting seminars on a wide range of Bible subjects.

In addition to the book Quantum Faith, Annette has authored two other books entitled, Reverse the Curse in Your Body and Emotions and Understanding Persecution. She has also co-authored two books with Charles: God's Creative Power for Finances and Angels.

...Your Words Are Energy...
P0iD2ZZBl3j0-yZvccYhRn0CYITgG94jv4Ob2mTzgIqVMSiFqEMrreS9GSiazIj7JFNlOiHPpG4Mj9JSvi9UAmgd_wRevUgqXTguIH0cTuRlogYNj2Zb1sQccZECgApuMKy5Md77

Several years ago... my father (Word of Faith ...Charle Capps) gave a prophecy that said in effect, "Some things which have required faith to believe will no longer require faith, for it will be proven to be scientific fact." Words are energy and (energy affects matter). The energy of your microwave vibrates the water molecules and heats the water. The energy of electricity flows to your washing machine and powers the motor that spins the tub and cleans your clothes.
So, we can... rightfully say that (energy affects matter). Your words are (energy that affects the matter)... in your life. When you (speak the words), "This is the worst car I have ever had! You stupid piece of junk!" Those words are (vibrations of energy) that affect the atoms that make up that car. If you (speak those words) long enough, your car will obey you!

Scientists have... performed experiments with atoms and their subatomic particles such as electrons. If you paid attention in school, you saw the diagram of an atom with the electron orbiting it like the earth orbits the sun. The (interesting thing) is that scientists have discovered that the electron that is shown orbiting the nucleus is (NOT always)... there in particle form. It exists in a wave state (like a cloud, everywhere at once) until someone looks at it. When the scientist observes it, it (suddenly) appears as a dot particle. What we all want to know is, "How does it (the dot) know someone is looking at it?" It obviously is responding... to the observer.

One of the difficulties... in (quantum physics) is that the particles behave (somewhat differently) for each observer, which leads me to the question, "Does it behave according to what the scientist believes?" In any event, we can definitely conclude that Jesus was right when He taught that all (matter responds) to faith and words. The substance from which our world is made is influenced and manifested by words. The things that you desire are made up of atoms. They know (what You believe, hear what you say and (behave accordingly!)

Beliefs Produce Energy

The thoughts and beliefs... that you carry also produce an energy around you. Have you (ever noticed) that when you are angry, things go wrong, and people are insulting and angry with you? Your (thoughts and beliefs) produce an energy that people can perceive and react to. If YOU believe that no one likes you, then you put off that rejecting type of energy, and people will be (driven away) from you.

If You... love people and care about them, (they will feel that) and be drawn to you. Have you ever been around someone who is pleasant and full of love? It is an energy you can (actually feel). The energy of love is a powerful drawing card for good in your life. After all, God is Love. When you believe that (God loves you) and wants you to prosper, THEN, you (change your words) and beliefs about money. When financial challenges used to (come my way), I would fall into fear and begin to say things like, "Well, NOW... we won't be able to pay off the car, house, (or whatever)!"

The fear... and (speaking of it) is an energy that affects your checking account and stops financial freedom. NOW, I have learned to (think and believe) and say, "Things always work out for me. Everything that I do prospers and I have (abundance) in Jesus' name. "God is NOT limited to the (things that) you and I see. There is an (infinite supply of substance)... waiting to be manifest according to your beliefs and words!

(A little Bit about... Billy Joe)

Billy Joe Daugherty was a Word of faith believer and founder and pastor of Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was also the founder of Victory Christian School, Victory Bible Institute and Victory World Missions Training Center. Five hundred twenty-three Victory Bible Institutes have been started in eighty-five countries around the world. He inspired individuals and ministries with his life, love and influence for more than 30 years.

...Fulfilling Your Call...
P0iD2ZZBl3j0-yZvccYhRn0CYITgG94jv4Ob2mTzgIqVMSiFqEMrreS9GSiazIj7JFNlOiHPpG4Mj9JSvi9UAmgd_wRevUgqXTguIH0cTuRlogYNj2Zb1sQccZECgApuMKy5Md77

You are not... only called into fellowship to know the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in daily communion, but you are called to fulfill God's call upon your life. There is no human being on earth who doesn't have a (calling from God). Now, you may not be called to the office of an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher.

You may not... be called to the mission filed, to teach in a Christian school, or to (serve and work) in a ministry as a full-time employee; but there's a calling that God places upon every human being. Why? Because God has no spare parts. If you are a member of the Body, (you have something) you are to do. You are not just stuck out there dangling in space and God says, "Oh, I don't know what I'm going to do with you!"

If you have... accepted (Jesus Christ) as your Lord and Savior, you are learning what God wants you to do. As you answer the first calling to be (saved) and the second calling to (come into daily communion) with Him, then... you will discover the calling of what you are to do in life.

Examples of Delayed Callings
Why do people... lay aside their call? Sometimes it's because of sin, mistakes, or the mistakes of others. Because of it, some feel they can't pick up their calling again. Sometimes people try to do what they are called to do and they do it the (wrong way) and make a mistake. Out of the embarrassment or the predicament that results, they forget (about the calling), or they don't want to go on with it.

Other people... (lay aside) their calling, not because of their own sin or their own mistakes, but... because of the (sins and mistakes) of other people. They are hurt, wounded and rejected. Others try to do something for God, and people don't respond to it. Consequently, (they lay aside) that calling.

Samson

Samson had... a (call to deliver Israel)... but he was pulled away (from this call) by the lust of his own flesh. There are many influencing demonic spirits that try to pull people away (from their calling). Samson fell for it. (Delilah satisfied his flesh)... but... nearly destroyed his (life and his call). He ended up with his (eyes blinded), grinding meal like an ox.

Here's the... good news though. Samson's hair began to grow again, but his strength wasn't just in his hair. His strength was in his (covenant relationship) with God. He lost that strength, but it began to return because he (recommitted) himself to God. The anointing came back. Let's look at Samson's final feat of victory in (Judges 16:25-30). The Philistines called a great banquet celebration to sacrifice to their god, Dagon, for (delivering) Samson into their hands.

...When their hears were merry...they said, "Call for Samson, that he may perform for us." So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars. Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, "Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them!"

Now the temple was full of men and women; all the lords of the Philistines were there. In fact, there were about three thousand men and women on the roof who watched while Samson performed. Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, "O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!"

And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left. Then Samson said, "Let me die with the Philistines!" And he pushed with all his might and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.

Even though... this was a (bittersweet victory), it was still a triumph in that Samson returned to God in his last days. This means (you, too), can start over!

Moses
Moses made a great mistake. When he looked upon the bondage and oppression imposed upon the Hebrews (his own people) by the Egyptians, he killed an Egyptian (Ex. 2:11-12). Moses' (heart was right), but... his actions were wrong. That's the way it is with a lot of people. They (attempt to fulfill) their calling, but... they don't get the (wisdom and knowledge) of God on how to do it.

As a result... of this sin, Moses fled to the backside of the desert and spent 40 years there. It looked like it was over. Moses at 80 years old was tending his father-in-law's sheep. But... his calling (wasn't over), because "...the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable" (Rom. 11:29). This means God never pulls them back.

God called Moses (to do something). Moses made a mistake in (how he was to do it), but... the day came when he saw a burning bush that wasn't consumed, which represented God saying, "I'm going to light the fire in your heart again, Moses, and this time, you'll (not go in your own ability). You'll go in My power, strength and wisdom to deliver the Children of Israel out of Egypt" (Read Ex. 3:9-14).

Moses messed up... but... God gave him (another opportunity) to fulfill his call. If you've messed up, repent. Then... accept God's grace and (stand up) on the inside! You can still fulfill that which God has called you to do! That's awesome!

Special thanks to... Billy Joe Daugherty

So bless my brother.

Norvel Hayes Quote: “There is only one way that the things of God will be manifested for you and your family: by faith, by your confession of the Scriptures. Are you willing to make God’s Word the foundation of your believing? If you do, God won’t fail you.”

“If I expected to get the substance, I had to believe that I had already received because now faith is. In this case, the substance was the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking with other tongues. I had to believe that I had it, even though I couldn’t see it or feel it. Faith is the answer we see when we pray.”

Some were on tongues not sure why lol

" “You can go to heaven and never speak in tongues.”

“If you never speak in tongues, Jesus will still love you.”

Mac Hammond
Word of Faith
upload_2022-9-25_13-15-10.png

A little bit about Mac (a little long but good Word)

Mac Hammond is the senior pastor of Living Word, a large Word of Faith growing church in Brooklyn Park (a suburb of Minneapolis), Minnesota. He is the host of the Winner’s Minute, which is seen locally in the Minneapolis area on KMSP Channel 9 at 6:44 a.m. and 11:11 a.m. He is also the host of the Winner's Way broadcast and author of several internationally distributed books. Mac is broadly acclaimed for his ability to apply the principles of the Bible to practical situations and the challenges of daily living.

Between 1970 and 1980, Mac was involved in varying capacities in the general aviation industry, including ownership of a successful air cargo business serving the Midwestern United States. A business acquisition brought the Hammonds to Minneapolis, where they ultimately founded the Living Word Church in 1980 with 12 people in attendance. Today, after 40 years, that group of twelve people has grown into a church body of more than 10,000 members.
...Born to Raze Hell...
upload_2022-9-25_13-18-14.png

If you looked up...boldness” in either the Hebrew or the Greek, they both say almost the same thing: (Confidence or assurance). I like what the W.E. Vines Expository Dictionary says: “to dare to be or to dare to do.”To dare” means that adversity or threat is in front of you, but you take the dare anyway. You ought to dare the Devil sometime. “I dare you, Devil," to pull that one again because I’m going to use it to magnify Christ... in my life.”

“Pastor, that’s getting a little wild. I don’t know if I want to dare the Devil.” Well, that’s what boldness means; to look him in the eye and say, “I dare you to pull another stunt like that because I’ll use it to magnify God. I’ll use it to become (more like Jesus). I’ll become more of a lion that I’ve ever been. I dare you, Devil.” This is what boldness does. It doesn’t get intimidated. It dares to do.

Dare the Devil

When I think about... “daring the Devil,” I’m reminded of a story Brother Hagin told many times. A friend of his did a meeting for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona. He was sharing about an experience on his drive to that meeting through west Texas. He stopped to get some gas and a fellow was filling his truck at the pumps who had a tattoo on his arm that said: “Born to raise hell.” He thought to himself: Yeah, that’s totally counter to what I’m born to do.

The Lord spoke up on the inside of him. “No, you were born to "raze hell).” (Raze means to level or destroy.) He said the Holy Ghost has written on every believer’s chest— born to "raze hell.” When you realize you’ve been born to "raze hell", you can look the Devil in the eye and say, “I double dog dare you to do that again. It’ll be even worse for you.”

Flee vs. Face

So how do we... become bold? (Proverbs 28:1) says, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” I believe that boldness is a state of heart that comes after (you’ve become righteous) and have begun living your life on the principles of God’s Word: a learning process that is a lifetime affair.

What is righteousness? A simple definition is “morally right.” Conversely, the word “wicked” refers to “morally wrong.” Morality describes a standard of living that is described by the (principles) of God’s Word. Morally right... would be choices, decisions, or a lifestyle predicated on God’s Word. Conversely, morally wrong... would be choices, decisions, or a lifestyle NOT predicated on the (principle) of God’s Word.

People whose lives... are not grounded in the (principle) of God’s Word may be (courageous for a time) when faced with hardship, but as a whole, they will do what they can to flee difficulty. People who (ground their lives) on God’s Word, as a whole, (will better be able) to deal with the adversity and ultimately overcome it. When the Bible is the basis for the decisions you make in your life, you are building a (foundation) upon which you can boldly build a life that overcomes.

Shame vs. Boldness

How else can we describe boldness? In (Philippians 1:20), Paul says by the Holy Ghost: (According to)... my earnest expectation and my hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed but that with all boldness as always so now also Christ (shall be magnified) in my body, whether it be by life or by death. Again, we see two extremes: a life of shame versus a life that magnifies Christ, even in physical death.

Shame is a product... of actions or mistakes of which you’re
not proud. Perhaps... you’ve failed at something, quit, or have been rejected by another person. Maybe you feel ashamed because you’ve stood for your healing for years and nothing has happened. Shame can come in a variety of ways.

As Christians, shame doesn’t need to be a part of our life experience. Of course, being shameless doesn’t mean you don’t make mistakes anymore or suddenly become perfect. The blood of Jesus is what removes sin from us once we confess it so we aren’t ashamed, but can live boldly.

Labeled vs. Free

I want to show you... one more description of what it means to be bold. (1st John 4:17) says: Herein is our love made perfect that we may have boldness in the day of judgment because... "as he is so are we in this world." In a (larger context) of understanding, the term “day of judgment” normally references the day that believers (will stand before) the judgment seat of Christ, not for the meting (measure out) of penalty—that’s already been done—but for the meting (measure out) of reward. He says we need to have boldness for that day.

This verse took on another layer of meaning when I realized that the word judgment can stand on its own. If you looked it up in the concordance, judgment simply means “accusation or condemnation.” In the day that accusation and condemnation comes our way, if we (want to be as)... Jesus is NOW in this world, then we’re going to have to be bold. How is Jesus right now? He’s at the right hand of the Father far above all (principality and power and dominion) with all things under His feet. That’s how WE can be... in this world as well!

The enemy... accuses you by the circumstance he brings against your life. If you abused your body too much when you were young, he’ll (label you) as never able... to be healed. He’ll (label you) as not smart enough, too lazy, not educated enough, not the right color. On and on, the enemy will (use circumstances to label you). It is through these accusations that the enemy wants to (bring you into captivity) through a sense of unworthiness, condemnation, and failure—Well, you gave it your best shot and you still didn’t make it. … The Word isn’t going to work for you. … You really ticked God off.

What should you do in the day that accusation and condemnation comes? Be bold. Boldness enables you to be as "Jesus is NOW in this world." Without boldness, you will be defined by the accusation and the condemnation that has come against you instead of being "in this world as Jesus is" at the right hand of the Father.

Boldness Speaks

How do you... know if boldness is a fact in your life? It involves something I talked about last month: your words. Check and see what your words look like when hard times come. Boldness always shows up first... (your mouth). You will never dare to do something you haven’t been bold to speak about. Throughout the Word, we SEE that boldness (always shows up) in utterance before God involves Himself and supernatural manifestation occurs. (Read Acts 4:29–30, Acts 14:2–3, and Acts 19:8, 10–12 for examples.)

Boldness... regardless of circumstance, (proclaims the truth) of God’s Word. Be bold to say, “I am more than an overcomer in Christ Jesus.” “My God has supplied all my needs according to His riches in glory.” “I can do all things through Christ who has strengthened me.” If you get an unexpected bill in the mail, what are the first words out of your mouth? Do you affirm the potential for that negative circumstance to alter your life or do you affirm that God has (met your need) according to His riches in glory?

Boldness stirs... you up in your faith and gets you excited about the future. Boldness (dares to believe) that the Word of God is truth and will become a reality for you. That’s why I want to encourage you to become bold! Take your faith to the next level by proclaiming what God has done for you. As you patiently take steps to make bold speaking and bold living a part of your life, you’ll see God’s manifestation begin to become reality.

(Special thanks to... Mac Hammond)

...Laughter-The Language Recognized Around the
World...
I’ve traveled in... many nations, seen different cultures, and heard all kinds of languages, but when I hear someone laugh, I can always tell they are happy. Like love, joy is a language shared by the world. I suppose as children of God – made in His image – we all have the capacity for laughter. Joy, however, is a fruit of the spirit and originates from a different place – not from your mind or circumstances, but from you innermost being, or your “belly” as Jesus said in John 7:38.

Faith Laughs At Impossibilities
One minister friend of mine was having some serious symptoms in his body and went to see a well-known doctor about them. After being examined, the doctor’s prescription for my friend was ten “belly laughs” a day. He thought it was odd, but his physical problem was caused by stress and that deep belly laugh brought him the benefits he needed.

Heavenly... triumphant joy springs out of truth that you know in your heart. It’s the truth that if God be for you, then who can be against you (Rom. 8:31). The truth that if you are (in Christ) then old things are passed away and everything is new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Even in times when it seems you have lost everything and you’re flat on your back, you can look up to Jesus and let that laughter bubble up out of your heart. You can rejoice in the Lord and take His strength, which is His joy! Ha, ha, ha!

Joy – Your Strength
In Lester Sumrall’s book, Pioneers of Faith, he gives the account of one of his personal visits with Smith Wigglesworth. “One day, I asked him, ‘Brother Wigglesworth how is it that you look the same every time I come? How do you feel?’” He bellowed at me like a bull and said, “I don’t ever ask Smith Wigglesworth how he feels!” I asked, “How do you get up in the morning?” He said, “I jump out of bed! I dance before the Lord for at least ten to twelve minutes-high speed dancing. I jump up and down and run around my room, telling God how great He is, and how glad I am to be associated with Him and to be His child.”

After this Wigglesworth... would take a cold shower, read the Bible for an hour, and then open his mail to see what God would have him to do that day. He was an extremely remarkable man, totally sold out to God. (Psalm 16:11), says that in God’s presence is fullness of joy. Brother Wigglesworth learned how to (tap into God’s strength)... by rejoicing before the Lord, and drawing on the joy found in His Presence. You can do the same.

According to... (Nehemiah 8:10) “…the joy of the Lord is your strength.” The Amplified Bible says it this way: “...and be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.” This supernatural joy and strength will give you staying power when everything around you falls apart.

Rejoicing Releases Resurrection Power
It was a Sunday morning after the service had ended, when a doctor in our church approached me with a very serious expression on his face. He had brought a nicely dressed gentleman whom he explained was a minister from another state. This minister had come for surgery, which was scheduled for the next day, and wanted prayer. In the natural, the report was very negative, but the power of the Lord was present as I exhorted him to believe God. Then I laid hands on him, cursing the cancer and releasing the anointing to heal him in Jesus’ Name.

He fell to... the floor under the power of God, and Trina (My wife) and I danced, laughed, and rejoiced, taking off in a (victory run!) We looked foolish, but the doctor started to praise God with us as he saw the power of God at work. The next day, this man went into surgery. When they cut into the area where the (cancerous tumor had been), they began to call other doctors to examine this minister. It was agreed that the tumor looked as if it had (already undergone radiation) and was dead! They plucked it completely out and sewed the man back up. He recovered and was (completely free from the disease!)

Laughter releases... (resurrection power) that melts down disease. Laugh at disease, laugh at torment, laugh at lack. (1st John 3:8)(AMP) says, “…For this reason the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works the devil has done. The Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, and the language of laughter will loosen and cause a meltdown of all the power of hell! Ha, ha, ha! Laughter (releases resurrection power) that melts down disease.

Remember... the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. (Romans 8:11)... just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies (by this same Spirit living within you).

Resurrection power... resides in every believer because of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling power! It is released by faith. Faith is (believing and speaking) and the language of faith can sound like laughter, and laughter... that comes from your spirit... and is targeted at an impossible situation, it will direct a flow of (resurrection power) that will give life to your body. It can turn impossible situation into a (testimony of God’s grace!)

Whatever... your situation is today, do as Job did, and laugh at destruction and famine (Job 5:22). Open your (mouth and speak) to your mountain. Let your "endorphins" loose and release your faith in God with a laugh! Not only will it release your "endorphins" but it will (release your faith). (endorphins: any of a group of hormones secreted within the brain and nervous system and having a number of physiological functions.) They are peptides which activate the body's opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect.

A merry heart does good like a medicine… (Proverbs 17:22). Praise the Lord!

(Special thanks to... Mark Hankins)

Thank You Father!

(A little bit about... Happy Caldwell)

...is the founder and Pastor of Agape Church, a strong, Spirit-filled body of Word of Faith believers in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is Founder and President of the Victory Television Network, which operates two full-power Christian television stations in Little Rock and Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is also President of the International Convention of Faith Ministries (ICFM) located in Little Rock Arkansas.
Happy has an anointed way of presenting the Word of God in profound simplicity, making the character of God a revelation to those who hear. In 1979, God spoke to him to build a spiritual production center which would deliver the gospel throughout Little Rock, Arkansas, the United States, and the world. The Spirit of God has instructed him in the principles of taking a city for Jesus Christ. Through this revelation and a daily television program, "Arkansas Alive" (via the Victory Television Network), the city of Little Rock is being changed into a "city of light."

...How You Can Turn Your Nation to God?...

You have to... fix a nation by fixing its morality, its character, its honesty. (When you do), then God gets (involved in the nation). "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, all the people mourn" (Proverbs 29:2). What (exalts a nation)? What (pulls it down)? Do you know that people are confused on this subject? In the (minds of many people) it's the economy that (lifts a nation up or pulls it down). (Others think) that the (correct political party) or the (right elected officials) will exalt a nation.

But... God's Word says, "Righteousness (exalteth a nation): but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34). You can't fix a nation by just fixing its economy or by fixing its politics. You have to fix a nation by fixing its morality...by (fixing its character and honesty). Now... there are (many believers) who understand this but... are confused about God's righteousness and God's judgment. They think God is currently judging America, for example. But... He's not. God is NOT judging America any more than He is judging Mexico or Guatemala or Italy or Africa.

God has already... judged sin and Satan. If God were going to judge the homosexuals (for their sin), then He'd have to judge drug addicts (for their sin), alcoholics (for their sin), and murderers for (their sin). Is God a respecter of persons? No...! We don't live in the day of the vengeance of the Lord. Look carefully at where Jesus stopped reading (Isaiah 61) that Sabbath day in the synagogue at Nazareth:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19)

Then... He (closed the book) and sat down. Jesus stopped in the )(middle of a sentence) that went on to say "and the day of vengeance of our God…" (See Isaiah 61:2). Why didn't Jesus read all of it? Because the (day of vengeance) is coming, but... it's not yet. We are in the Church Age, the Age of Grace. This is not to say nations aren't inflicting all kinds of calamity upon themselves because of sin. Sin... is a (reproach to a nation), and a nation can be hurt by sin just as an individual can be hurt by sin.

Sin carries with it... the recompense of its reward. But... rather than see (cities and nations) continue in this (kind of destruction), God has raised up believers who (stand in the gap) and intercede, just as... Abraham stood up and did business for God at Sodom and Gomorrah. He said, "Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?" (Genesis 18:23). No!... Similarly, Jeremiah wept over Jerusalem as Jonah had Nineveh. It has always been the intercessors, not the politicians, who have changed the course of our nations.

What About My Nation?
Politics
never has and never will change our nations. Men have tried it for years, and it's still not working. God doesn't operate that way. He operates according to His Word. God's plan is set forth in (Proverbs 29:2): "When the righteous are in authority [or leadership], the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."

Notice that... when the righteous are in authority, even the sinners will rejoice. They will rejoice, not because righteousness is increased, but... when righteousness increases. Some of them won't know why, but they will rejoice because the righteous have increased in the earth. When righteousness is increased, God will exalt His nation and all citizens will live and enjoy the good life. (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

It should alarm us to hear people saying, "(I don't care about) character. I don't care about morality. I don't care about family. (I don't care) about whether the person is honest. All I care about is money and economics. What's going to put money in my pocket...How am I going to benefit from it...(What am I going to get?)"

That's... (greed and materialism), and (it will drive a country) further into unrighteousness. There is never a time or situation in the government of any nation in which (character and morality) shouldn't enter into a political contest. It's true that God is no respecter of persons. It's true that it rains on the just and the unjust alike.

But... it's the righteous who bring the rain and bring the blessings of God. (It's the righteous) who bring God in on the scene. "When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice." That is a spiritual principle. "When the wicked bear rule, the people mourn."

The Role of Intercession
What does it mean to bring righteousness on the scene? We are not talking about a (religion forcing everybody) to go to church. God doesn't do that. Nor... are we talking about self-righteousness. What we are talking about are (two things you can do) to change your nation and turn it around. First, (intercede in prayer for those) who are in authority.

Do you want... to get God involved in your prayers? Then make petitions, prayers, intercession and give thanks for all men. Intercede for all (those in leadership) who are in eminent places. This includes (intercession for the president) or your (prime minister, etc.), his cabinet and advisors, businessmen, law enforcement officers, judges and congressmen. Pray... for (these people) so that you... may (lead a quiet and peaceable life) in all godliness and honesty. When... you do, God will be (involved with your prayers).

The Necessity of Involvement
Secondly
... get involved politically and vote. If you... don't vote (and you are a Christian), then (forget) about praying. You... are going to (have to repent) for sinning because you... (haven't taken advantage) of... your (God-given, blood-bought right). We are so shallow in our thinking. The issue is not the Democratic or the Republican Party—or any other party. The issue is righteousness. The issue is a (spiritual issue). We must (intercede for all men), kings, all... that (are in authority) or... all...that are in an (eminent or prominent place) of leadership.

Why? It's simple... It's because God said (if we will do this)—and He exhorts us to do it—we will lead (quiet and peaceable lives) in all godliness and honesty. When righteousness increases and you have godly leadership, the people are going to rejoice. As we (start interceding and petitioning) for all men, the Holy Spirit (starts to move), and people start getting saved, getting filled with the Holy Ghost and coming into the Church.

Then what happens? They go back into the workplace as saved people. Righteousness is (increasing-right-standing with God), NOT self-righteousness, NOT holier-than-thou, NOT religious hypocrisy. People (who are right with God) are (increased) in the workplace. This is exactly where Jesus told us we should go. Christians have (stayed out) of the marketplace when Jesus told us, "Go ye into all the world" (Mark 16:15). Christians should be witnesses (everywhere we go). We should beget other Christians.

What's happening...? God's doing what He (said He'd do). You can't fix a nation by just fixing its (economy or its politics). You have to fix a nation by fixing its morality, its character, its honesty. When... you do, then God gets (involved in the nation).

God (can solve the issue) of war, terrorism, the national debt problem, social injustice, unemployment, national health, environmental cleanup, and (any other national challenge) if we... can just turn the nation around morally and see (righteousness) increase. When... God gets involved, (the people rejoice).

What we've looked for... is for God to come in here and make everybody be a Christian. God has never done that, and He never will. We... have to intercede. It's not an option anymore. But... if (you'll stand in the gap) and intercede, God (will move) on your behalf and on behalf of your city, state, nation and world. (Righteousness) will (exalt the nations).
