No. I don't. #1. Character counts. That's what we told the Democrats in the 1990's with Bill Clinton, when they pointed to the economy and Bill Clinton's protecting abortion, And it counts now.
I think many of Trump's policies were good, but I didn't agree with all of them.
However, I was thrilled with his judicial picks, his Middle East peace policies and more.
However, I agree with a post upthread that we may well have gotten those with the other talented Republican candidates. I personally liked Jeb Bush, although I can see why he didn't go anywhere. People wanted something besides another Bush.
#2. Trump sadly became a cult of personality even among committed Christians. That is always dangerous both to our faith and to democracy(witness people being OK with Trump maybe implementing maritial law and having the military administer a new election when we had no solid evidence, proven in a court of law against cross examination that the election was stolen from Trump. This is banana republic stuff.) Plus our kingdom is not of this world. We don't look to a wordly leader. That doesn't mean that we don't vote, advocate for certain positions and even run for office. But all this "God's anointed." stuff made me nervous.
#3. Too divisive. We need someone who can in a general election unite both "wings." of the Republican party and get the swing voters. Glen Youngkin was able to do this in Virginia without appealing to Trump's endorsement.
#4. I predict Trump won't run. I could be wrong but I hope he won't. I don't think his ego will let him risk another loss. That would be great, opening up the field to fresh faces.

Good post, although I don't agree with your overall negativity about Trump. Hopefully, and if he does run, you'll change your mind after two more years of the real banana republic stuff.

I'm unaware of how Hunter, not being an elected official, is relevant. I'm also unaware of any Hillary situation. I know Trump promised to lock her up and then changed his mind, thereby establishing her innocence, just as was initially confirmed before the 2016 election.

Yes, because it would be great to have things back to the exact opposite of what they are now.

Unemployment is low, there is no recession, and nobody is trying to overthrow the government, unlike with Trump. Also, we have relatively low gas prices compared to the rest of the world. Thanks, Joe!

I was all in with republicans until it was revealed that Limbaugh was going deaf due to pill popping, after he went after ordinary people for being addicted. Then his record was expunged and he faced no punishment for doctor-shopping for pills. I discovered their hypocrisy was great and widespread. They ended up being just like the democrats except they had little to no interest in helping the poor and downtrodden. They are worse today.

I’ll likely never be a member of the Dem Party again, I don’t think they’ll change that much now. But, if a Romney or Cheney type was elected I would go back to an independent. I can imagine what that would be. What about you going back to a Republican, any chance of that, although if Biden hasn’t driven you back by now, nothing probably will.

I never say never. Then again I vote the individual not the party. I voted for Martha McSally for Congress, voted for Bush too. She left me when she went full-Trump.

I am sorry that you failed to recognize the sarcasm I posted within the long list of things Trump actually did as President. Yes, it angers me that the President tried to overthrow a legal election he lost. You should be angry too, but you don't seem to be.

No, I’m not yet. I’m going to reserve my opinion on it a while until all the opposing political sentiment cools down some, many investigations will surely follow, sort of like the Kennedy assassination you might say. I’ll see what all comes out after that… no telling what I’ll be angry about then.
