Drop the revisionist history. Israel stormed into Palestine and took it,

In 1967, Israel absorbed the whole of historical Palestine, as well as additional territory from Egypt and Syria. By the end of the war, Israel had expelled another 300,000 Palestinians from their homes, including 130,000 who were displaced in 1948, and gained territory that was three and a half times its size.

You can't tell me Israel doesn't have blood on its hands.

After the nations surrounding Israel attempted to destroy the country. The Jews now occupy what was originally the majority of ancient Israel.

You can get of the revisionist history propaganda. There was no country Palestine, how can they claim something that wasn't theirs to begin with?

When the Roman garrison turned over the last armed forces in Israel, Jews that had escaped the destruction of Jerusalem returned to their homeland. There was a continued presence of Jews in the city and the immediate area. When the Muslims fin

By being removed from their homes and having those homes given away to the Zionist regime. They invaded the area and kicked out the native inhabitants. That would have made me mad too. How would you like to be removed from your family home and kicked out of the land you grew up in only to be homeless in the desert? Would that be fair to you?

Running on emotion with no logical approach as to what is fact and fiction. Not an enviable solution for the situation at all.

1860, the first recognized Jewish Settlements are supported by the ruling country ...The British Empire. Settlements just outside Jerusalem. There is no recognized or organized nation of Palestine and the people in the area deemed nothing more than refugees from other Arabs wars. The settlements grow larger over time, when the Russians start killing Jews. Again, no organized state of Palestine, no organized government, no leadership. Britain tries to appease a growing resistance over the Arabs call for the settlements to be destroyed and cleansed of the Jewish settlements. World War Two breaks out and everyone goes to war.

In 1948 the UN declares a new state of Israel. Immediately, the surrounding Arab countries attack the Israel. Within two days as matter of fact. .

Instead of crying over a non existing State, because the leadership rejected every offer by the British and the UN. Try recognizing the massacre of Jews between 1860 and the modern era following the formation of the new state of Israel. Innocent Israeli's suffered greater loses than the surrounding Arab countries. The attacks have been persistent and Israel is well within their rights to take territory not recognized as a state, every time the Arabs lose. The UN needs to settle this once and for all, declare a state of Palestine and recognize the sovereignty of both states.
Perhaps that will cease the weeping over Arab Muslims claiming territories they never actually owned after 1860. Territories they never wanted until the State of Israel was declared.

Careful. You'll give native Americans the idea of restitution. :)

Depends who controls the narrative. Jews made no effort to return to that area until after WW2 when they basically had no choice. Prior to that Jews and 'Palestinians' (as it was Palestine) had still lived there but no longer as a Jewish nation. Their more recent bullying attitudes of invading territory to build more housing and this latest incident with the journalist and the bullying at a funeral is making people stop and reconsider.

I presume if Palestine becomes recognized as a nation that might put the brakes on any plans by Israel to eventually keep chipping away at take over all the territory. I wonder if that will go over well.

Simple fix. Stop attacking Israel, getting defeated militarily and decide on where to put a capital. It will not be in Jerusalem.

With what army?

You really need to watch the documentary Against All Odds, In search of a Miracle.

Maybe read this:

MYTH

"One million Palestinians were expelled by Israel from 1947-49."

FACT

The Palestinians left their homes in 1947-49 for a variety of reasons. Thousands of wealthy Arabs left in anticipation of a war, thousands more responded to Arab leaders' calls to get out of the way of the advancing armies, a handful were expelled, but most simply fled to avoid being caught in the cross fire of a battle.

If the Arabs put as much time, energy, passion and money into building ifrastructure, farms and businesses as they do attacking Israel.... they would be a lot farther.

Israel would gladly give them help in how to creat a garden country out of sand.

The Zionist army blasted through Palestine. they had tanks and all.
Check again. They were attacked by several nations from several fronts... It was a miracle.

Just watch the documentary......

At one point, an Israeli platoon is pinned down. Only one way out.. a mine field...
Just then a huge wind came up and blew all the dirt and sand away, exposing all the land mines.

They walked out to safety.

I think you're the one who needs to check again. The Zionist army rolled over Palestine and they took it.

As may the handmaiden's children eventually. They aren't asking for the Jews to leave, just a way out of the oppression. Funny how what the Jews once went through at the hands of others, they are now going through at the hands of the Jews.

Ah.... nope. Israel was attacked quickly before they were expected to organize any form of defense.

The United Nations resolution sparked conflict between Jewish and Arab groups within Palestine. Fighting began with attacks by irregular bands of Palestinian Arabs attached to local units of the Arab Liberation Army composed of volunteers from Palestine and neighboring Arab countries. These groups launched their attacks against Jewish cities, settlements, and armed forces. The Jewish forces were composed of the Haganah, the underground militia of the Jewish community in Palestine, and two small irregular groups, the Irgun, and LEHI. The goal of the Arabs was initially to block the Partition Resolution and to prevent the establishment of the Jewish state. The Jews, on the other hand, hoped to gain control over the territory allotted to them under the Partition Plan.

Of course, they rejected a plan that would take away their land. Why should they give away half of their country? Now, 9/10s of their country. The bottom line is people were forcibly removed from their homes and given nowhere to go. Would you vote to have your home taken away? Probably not. Did Jordan and Eqypt want to give their land away? Likely not. That's why they still have beef with them today. They did a land grab that was made legit by the UN.

No different than the Europeans taking America from the natives. It was accepted because they saw the people living there as inferior the same way The Israelis and evangelicals see the Palestineans as inferior. Not deserving of the same rights.

It was not their country, nor was it their land. It was British ruled.
