Depends who controls the narrative. Jews made no effort to return to that area until after WW2 when they basically had no choice. Prior to that Jews and 'Palestinians' (as it was Palestine) had still lived there but no longer as a Jewish nation. Their more recent bullying attitudes of invading territory to build more housing and this latest incident with the journalist and the bullying at a funeral is making people stop and reconsider.

I presume if Palestine becomes recognized as a nation that might put the brakes on any plans by Israel to eventually keep chipping away at take over all the territory. I wonder if that will go over well.

"Palastinians"?

The Real History Of The Name “Palestine”

Since the beginning of classical antiquity, Palestine has been consistently used as a general term for an ill-defined region inhabited by many groups, Jews often prominently, but never exclusively among them.

Nobody wanted that area. It was desolate. It's like the toy in the toybox that nobody wanted to play with until it was given to the Jewish people.

You reallly should watch the movie "In Search of a Miracle, Against All Odds" Created and Produced by Bill McKay.

It's a purely real breakdown of the rebirth of the nation of Israel, as prophesy foretold, and the miraculous events that made it happen.

Some may see this as a people taking over a region. I believe that God is fullfilling His word.

Israel did not force anyone out of the area. Anyone who stayed was and is treated as a citizen. They work, pay taxes, go to school, own businesses and vote.

Tell me, do the Jews, or even Christians have the same treatment in the countries trying to wipe out Israel?

Israel is the God ordained rebirth of a nation for God's people. It will never be taken from them.

What happened to Ariel Sharon after he gave up the Gaza Strip.

If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more ‎violence. If the Jews put ‎down their weapons ‎today, there would be no ‎more Israel'‎ Benjamin Netanyahu

Joe should realize that God will bless those that Bless Israel and curse those that curse them.
Isn't that taking the name of once a nation and confusing it with the people who recently dropped their name of Judah? A people who purposely once broke away from Israel and now lay claim to it's name which was all their brothers' ancestral heritage and not just theirs?

I guess the writer means it undirectly.
Ya, that's what I thought. Its quite a statement if he actually really said it. I try to find a direct source or quote, if it sounds a bit out there, in order to verify. That being said, Biden is meeting with the Palestinians, something all presidents should do .
Blessings.

Not all Israelis support the extreme oppression of Palestinians. That's why they ousted Netanyahu for a "slightly" more human rights oriented prime minister.

A two-state solution is the only road to peace, and decades of fighting and oppression should have taught Israelis that.

Moving the capital to Jerusalem is a huge mistake.

Perhaps Jerusalem should become like Vatican City--a tiny religious state surrounded by an "Israel" where no ethnic groups are oppressed and all live in harmony. The tiny religious state would be "sacred" to all three religions--Christianity, Judaism, and Islam--a mecca for pilgrims of all faith to worship the one God they all believe in.

Remember that Christ is called the Prince of Peace.

From what I understand the Bible says:

Deuteronomy 28:64

King James Version

64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

and:

Jeremiah 23:3

King James Version

3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

IMO... the events that took place after WWII that resulted in the Jewish people forming a country in the land of Israel and resurrecting the language.. is the most obvious display of God still working in this world in modern times.

The followers of God have always sinned and always done things that were not exactly righteous or God's will.
We are all sinners by nature. If you look at the odds that the Jewish people have faced, all the while the progress and prosperity that they have produced since the time of their nations rebirth.... It is well apparent that these are the people who God called "the Apple of His eye"

They will not recognize Him until the tribulation.. Then there is the 144,000 who repent.. They have to repent from something.. They are not repenting from being believers.

Yes, this is the Israel and the people of God. IMO

Maybe this new leader will try that.... Giving land to the Arabs.... Then, they will have another beautiful place to run down and set up their rocket launchers .. while Naftali Bennett slips into a coma.

God will not stand for them giving up any of His promised land.

Had the "Palestinians " spent more time forming a government and working to establish a country, instead of fighting over something they knew they couldn't achieve. We wouldn't be having this debate today. Once again, an example of leadership gone bad. Israel has tried multiple times to reach an agreement with the mix of unwanted middle easterners, no one wants.

Israel gains in territory have always been the result of an unwarranted attack to cleanse the earth of the country of Israel. In each instance, after Israel won, more of the original land of Israel has been occupied.

I could care less about the "tactics". Defending what was granted by the decree at the UN is all that mattered. Could care less if some want Israel gone too, as if their destruction would bring peace to the region. The UN warranted and approved a homeland for the Jewish nation and they have a right to defend their homeland. In what ever manner they choose to do so.

In our case, the Bible tells the world this is what would happen and here we are. Jerusalem is the capitol and Joe Biden can not, even on his best conscious day, tell Israel what to do with their country.

Then what were the tanks for?
The tanks were for protecting the attacks on them. It is still the same.... Israel does not attack to take land or exterminate anyone. They attack to destroy munitions used on them.
Nobody was in any danger of staying. There are families of Arabs that have lived there for the entire time. Safe, respected, members of the country.

When they were attacked they took occupation of the Sinai peninsula... and then... gave it back to Egypt.

If you start a war.... and attack another country.... and take land from them...then... the land you take, if you win.. you will claim.

Therefore, if you are pushed back and the country you attacked.. should be able to claim the land that they take in their actions of defending you and convincing you that you have lost.

You cannot attack another country.... get defeated.. and then say.. "Sorry.... can we have our land back now"?

Drop the revisionist history. Israel stormed into Palestine and took it,

In 1967, Israel absorbed the whole of historical Palestine, as well as additional territory from Egypt and Syria. By the end of the war, Israel had expelled another 300,000 Palestinians from their homes, including 130,000 who were displaced in 1948, and gained territory that was three and a half times its size.

You can't tell me Israel doesn't have blood on its hands.
