Cider?I am having apple cider (while also having apple cider vinegar in my meal).
Cider?
In the UK, cider is always alcoholic, but from what I've read, cider in the USA is just apple juice, am I right?
We have an apple tree in the garden, and I pressed a load of apples the other year, and left 2 huge barrels full, one quickly turned into 8% alcohol which I bottled. The other I left for over a year, and it had turned into over 40 pints of good cider vinegar. Excellent for health and for cooking.
Apple mash or apple juice, if left to itself will automatically ferment into alcohol.I read that apple cider is made from apple mash. It has a different taste from apple juice, I have apple juice here too and notice that difference. Apple cider I have here does not have alcohol.

I haven't bought a coffee in ages. I don't know of any Tim Horton's here in the Seattle area. There is some coffee chain here called Starlucks or something like that though.Speaking of coffee, Tim Horton's coffee shop just opened in my neighborhood. My wife and I are heading there this morning to try it out.
Starbucks is everywhere. I thought the coffee I had today at Tim Horton's was pretty good. So was their sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich. As far as Seattle goes I do like Seattle's best coffee.I haven't bought a coffee in ages. I don't know of any Tim Horton's here in the Seattle area. What's funny is I remember Seattle's Best Coffee more from a shop in Las Vegas where I used to live. I don't think Tim Horton's exists in Washington State.Starbucks is everywhere.
