The gaslighting continues....No, the 'Patriot Front' Far-Right Rally in DC Was Not Faked
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., described the men shown in one video as “movie characters”:
“No Patriot group I’ve ever seen wears khakis, Stormtrooper knee pads, and covers their faces like they’re scared. Just more movie characters.”
For his part, right-wing commentator Dinesh D’Souza speculated that the event was “fake,” and conducted by “FBI agents,” and asked “Where are the media interviews so we can see and hear directly from this group?”

From the link:

“Our demonstrations are an exhibition of our unified capability to organize, to show our strength—not as brawlers or public nuisances, but as men capable of illustrating a message and seeking an America that more closely resembles the interests of its true people.”
Now right there is their problem - to have a peaceful protest the media will support they need to dress the same, but in all black, wear ballistic vest, carry metal shields, block traffic - set fires to minority owned businesses and beat people unconscious. If they did that the Administration would not say word one about them except say the peaceful protest was a myth.

Funny. There are two people quoted in the article and neither of them are in the administration and BOTH are trying to gaslight the very people who support them.

And you are on here saying that a BIDEN person would do that.

In today’s conservative world things must looks much different then when I considered myself conservatives, because you are defending a group of people (White Supremacists) who’s core value is that people like you ( brown skin) a lesser human then they are but you attack BLM who core principle is fighting for equality. Not every action BLM do is justifiable, but BLM is fighting to change inequity and these White Supremacists fighting to put the black , brown and yellow people in their place so the White can reclaim America!

that is perhaps the longest sentence I have ever read in my life.

You’ve completely missed my point. I was not defending the group, but was pointing out the hypocrisy in today’s society.

Both groups are motivated by race. Both groups are having public demonstrations and protests. where I see the hypocrisy is in the media. One group is small enough to fit into a U-Haul and assemble peacefully and marches down the streets of DC.

The other shows up armed and in the hundreds, smashing cars burning buildings and beating people.

The violent group is largely ignored by the media, And called a myth by Democratic leadership while the other group makes national news.

The simple truth is that I don’t support either group. But I do believe in the right to peaceably assemble which only one of the racist groups here did. Yes I believe both groups are racist in nature because their whole identity is focused on one race.

A organization ( BLM) who’s core principle is to get equal justice for African American and a White Supremacists who wants to reclaim America for White People are both racist organization? I must say your and my definition of racism is completely different!

60 years ago Martin Luther King was branded as racist and terrorist. So i am not surprise that today conservative think BLM is a racist organization.

Your comment relating Martin Luther King Jr. to BLM is amazing to me. Dr. King STOPPED and decried violence and BLM endorses and actively participates in violence.

MLK walked with men and woman of all races called for unity and stood for the black community in such a way he united enough people both Democrats and Republicans to change the face of this nation for good.

BLM seeks and divides the nation and is only concerned and active in the cases of white on black police actions. They could not care less about black on black or a myriad of other issues. They are monotone in their approach.

So yes in words actions and methodology they are very much racist.

60 years later now conservatives respect Dr. King and how Dr. king was nonviolence, but 60 years ago these are the things conservatives were saying about DR. King

"Personally, I believe in the light of King's powerful demagogic speech yesterday he stands heads and shoulders over all other Negro leaders put together when it comes to influencing great masses of Negroes. We must mark him now, if we have not done so before, as the most dangerous Negro of the future in this Nation from the standpoint of communism, the Negro, and national security." William Sullivan, then-head of the FBI’s domestic intelligence division

Just as we formerly pointed out that "hatred and violence have no sanction in our religious and political traditions," we also point out that such actions as incite to hatred and violence, however technically peaceful those actions may be, have not contributed to the resolution of our local problems. We do not believe that these days of new hope are days when extreme measures are justified in Birmingham.

We commend the community as a whole, and the local news media and law enforcement in particular, on the calm manner in which these demonstrations have been handled. We urge the public to continue to show restraint should the demonstrations continue, and the law enforcement official to remain calm and continue to protect our city from violence.

We further strongly urge our own Negro community to withdraw support from these demonstrations, and to unite locally in working peacefully for a better Birmingham. When rights are consistently denied, a cause should be pressed in the courts and in negotiations among local leaders, and not in the streets. We appeal to both our white and Negro citizenry to observe the principles of law and order and common sense.

M.L.King: 1963 Public statement by 8 Alabama clergymen

"Negroes are now just antagonistic and mad and they're going to be mad at everything. You can't talk to them," he said. "My friends all say [even] the Negro maids and servants are getting antagonistic." Attorney General Robert Kennedy

Martin Luther King and the race riot that never was

so, I an not surprise that similar comment are made about BLM today.
Just like MLK and civil right movement prevailed, so shall BLM movement. It’s inevitable.

Just because “few people” in BLM protest are violent doesn’t make all BLM supporter are violent. But violence is not the issue with BLM movement , issue is African American demanding justice and that is not acceptable. Colin Kaepernick goes on his knees. Is that peaceful enough. Evidently not. Conservatives are upset about that too.

Here we disagree -

The protests that took place in 140 U.S. cities this spring were "mostly peaceful", but the arson, vandalism and looting that did occur will result in at least $1 billion to $2 billion of paid insurance claims, close to 1,000 injuries and six deaths. - if that is "few people" I'm a 6'5" Swedish man named Seth.

Did BLM encouraged violence ? They did not. So why blame them?

You seem like to put number up. So here is a number. 164 African American killed by police first 8 months of 2020. Should I then brand all police as racist? I wouldn’t.

Police have killed at least one Black man or woman every week in 2020 - Police in the U.S. killed 164 Black people in the first 8 months of 2020. These are their names. (Part I: January-April) - CBS News

Yes they did -

We are diametrically opposed on this issue. Have a great day.

Can you provide a link?

Nope - I don't believe there is anything I can link to that you would accept. We are diametrically opposed. I am happy leaving you with your beliefs and hope you can find the grace to do so with me. I'm done.

Thank you in advance.
