I was in school, left my water bottle unattended and a friend alerted me someone put something in my drink.

That was a pivotal moment I ever been very hyper-vigilant about my food and drink. At work I always carry my water bottle always in my sight, never left unattended.

I hate being this way about my drinks, but you never know these days. So what if some evil people are able to slip something, certainly I wouldn't want to put myself in this situation I do not test God or act/believe like I am immune or invincible.

But I cannot be on my guard 24/7, if God has a purpose for me maybe this situation would never happen again, or if it did I would be unharmed.

Even if they kill me, they cannot kill my Spirit, and I live forever.

Believers can die from poisoning.
There will be times when we inexplicably do not.
(Willfully taking poison is putting God to a test [Matthew 4:7].)

Just how realistic is this fear? Do you antagonise people at work to the extent that they want to kill you?

May I suggest you seek professional help about this and any other fears and anxieties you have.

I believe it is very realistic because it happened before.
for the second question, no I don't. I try to be as friendly and neutral as possible. that's why I was surprised, but people never fail to surprise me anymore.

One event while at school where you suspect something was put in your bottle.
What evidence is there that something was?

Cars crash, do you go anywhere near roads on which cars are driven?
Statisticaly that would be a reasonable fear, your fear is unreasonable.

Proof by witness testimony: I was told by a bystander in which I know is a genuine caring guy, who is also a community leader. I don't think he was lying to me to mess around with me.
Observing the water bottle there seemed to be something strange that happened to the water, and a peculiar smell.

Car accidents are rare, and to be frank with you sometimes I don't even wear a seatbelt. It is so rare, I don't worry. I also ride motorcycles.

Always be careful but not paranoid.

Mark 16: 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

God allowed the wicked to kill millions of Christians - but in the case of those who put their full trust in God and in His Word - they could not be killed until God deemed it to be allowed.

James dies within a few years of the resurrection of Christ -- killed by his enemies. Acts 12:2

But John the revelator survives being boiled in oil and dies of old age in Ephesus.
