I think the little stickers are great. Maybe someone could make a few of the last guy pointing at this and saying the same thing.

Done.

Maybe we'll see the prices come down again when we have another Republican President.
Was Obama Republican? Because gas was nice and low, when he was president. When up a bit when Trump went in office. Obama has a good economy and a pandemic playbook. And COVID-19 wouldn't have been so bad. I notice prices going up, before Trump went out. But I blamed it on COVID-19 and so does the employee's serving food.
It seems that Democrats love it when Big Oil makes huge profits.
Nonsense, I prefer more electric cars, walking and bike riding to work. So, less people need to depend on gas. And gas goes down. So, the poor and lower middle class can afford it. Because the upper middle class and rich like new toys.

It’s ironic that these are the same ppl that during trumps presidency they were like “even if you don’t like him you should respect the office and the president”. Then they’ll do this when a democrat president is in office.
Yet again showing it’s only about their party.
FYI before anyone jumps down my throat, I’m an independent moderate.
I dislike ultra progressives and trumpist factions in both parties.

So neither closing down pipelines ... will have any effect on gas prices?

Where did you study economics? I'd like to review your study materials.

You see, if the pipeline was not supplying the US, it's irrelevant. Did your study materials explain that?

Do what?

FYI I didn't vote for Trump, nor Biden.

People who think that the president controls gas prices can be safely dismissed as knowing nothing about how the economy works.

Interior report calls on Biden to raise costs of oil and gas drilling on federal land

Biden orders release of strategic oil reserves, says high gas prices not caused by clean-energy push

Sen. Joe Manchin III, West Virginia Democrat, made another plea for Mr. Biden to reverse his Jan. 20 executive order revoking the $8 billion pipeline expansion after the president announced Tuesday he would release 50 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Biden dogged by decision to kill Keystone XL pipeline as gas prices soar

Should they all resign?

That's nice, now you just have to demonstrate that any of that has enough influence on gas prices to actually count as 'controlling' them, rather than exerting a minor influence, insignificant next to dozens of other factors.

Why do you keep mentioning the XL pipeline? It is literally impossible for the cancellation of a pipeline that is less than 10% complete to have any impact on current gas prices whatsoever. This has been explained at least twice. Surely you understand the logic, so why do you keep bringing it up?

So Biden's belated actions are just a ruse, to deceive us into believing that he's attempting to solve the problem?

Sen. Joe Manchin III, West Virginia Democrat, felt that it was important enough to bring up. Should we ignore him?

I won't speak for Mr. Desk Trauma, but I am not mad about voting this administration into office, and I definitely think it is childish. (It is also defacement of private property.)

There are those who actually like biden who have demonstrated their willingness to burn an entire gas station to the ground if they're mad. But you're concerned about a tiny little sticker being "defacement of private property"? Ironic!

Gasoline is a commodity made from another commodity (oil) with a very volatile price. Oil prices go up and down and there is little any president can do to impact them, or frankly, cause them.

Cancelling or closing our pipelines, banning new oil drilling, and eliminating our oil independence so that biden now has to beg foreign nations to increase their oil output, while at the same time pushing his climate change agenda very much affects the price of gasoline.

Whatever the good senator was talking about, it wasn't current gas prices. The article does actually say:

'Meanwhile, Republicans were quick to connect the dots between the scuttled fossil-fuel project and the pain at the pump.'

Which only goes to show the complete lack of any connection between what those senators perceive as the problem and reality. There are no dots to connect There is no oil flowing through the xl pipeline. Because 92% of it doesn't exist. It's like blaming a recent increase in your water rates on your new sprinkler system before you've actually installed it.

So yes, you should ignore him and anybody else who says current gas price increases are connected in some way to the pipeline. It isn't true, it has never been true and it cannot ever be true. It's misinformation and you should stop repeating it.

The president doesn't control gas prices. The only people deceived are those who think that he does.
