What was the date on that tweet?
"The news about this new variant should make clearer than ever why this pandemic will not end until we have global vaccinations," Biden said in a statement.
There is a word missing above about what the controversial issue is, it should read like this:
"The news about this new variant should make clearer than ever why this pandemic will not end until we have forced global vaccinations," Biden said in a statement.
Because it's an order of magnitude less deadly, has far fewer long term bad outcomes and much more effective treatments. Why not require the same thing for the Flu?
I edited it for discussion purposes. Are you saying that the President's statement was edited, or are you trying to edit the President's statement?
One aspect within the discussion is, when does the good of one outweigh the good of the many compared to when does the good of many outweigh the good of the one?Because it's an order of magnitude less deadly, has far fewer long term bad outcomes and much more effective treatments.

Death on the other hand is not curable.
I suppose they will complain some more. The Omicron variant has been detected in the United Kingdom.

World on alert as UK reports cases of omicron COVID variant
You are correct.Because it's an order of magnitude less deadly, has far fewer long term bad outcomes and much more effective treatments.
Look, the whole issue of trying to stop variants is ridiculous.
Viruses constantly mutate, that’s what they do, that’s what they’re known for – all you have to do is look at the flu virus - every year there’s variants, and every year they have to modify the flu vaccine because of that.
Variants are never going to stop, and can’t be contained.
And the CDC has admitted that the COVID virus has a 99.5% survivability rate, so the fear mongering needs to stop.
The way they talk and spread fear about the COVID virus, you’d think it had a 99.5% death rate.
