It is not only suggested but demanded by the LGBTQ political activists who want the names Ladies Room and Men's Room removed from school locker room doors and restrooms.

People are welcome to their views.

Should the boys with long legs compete against the boys with short stumpy legs?

All genders use both bathrooms in my house. Anybody else have unisex bathrooms out there? Yikes!
Visiting my uncles farm my cousin peed in the hay right in front of me!
I'd never seen a girl pee before. It was educational.
Public restroom accommodate multiple people at the same time. Your bathroom doesn't. If people dont want strangers from the opposite sex using the bathroom while they do, i can understand that.

We have had women using mens toilets' for decades. Any time the women's get jammed up, they stream into the men's toilets because of the backup at the women's. Nobody has had a problem. Men also bring any gender kids into toilets' and women do as well.

And sports teams have allowed women in the locker rooms for over a decade.
The complaint is without merit.

The complaint is not without merit because this new law allows for perverts, sexual predators, and pedofiles to enter any restroom they want. I think that definitely warrants a complaint.

Like I said, when the mens public toilets are backed up in line, the women come in and use the mens stalls. This has been happening for decades. What the women want is enough stalls and convience.

Racism doesn't exist much anymore, although its seen in every race. We want to make believe that's its still 1950 and we need civil rights. The left is abusing civil rights by using it as an issue to gain power. They politicized it. The other problem i see is we want to address white racism but not racism by other races.

Designs sucked 50 years ago. They suck now.

Actually they worked very good.

What's sucks now is males wanting to dress like girls and go into girls locker rooms and
restrooms.

The complaint is without merit.

It's rare that women use men's restrooms.

Also, women are not allowed in men's dressing rooms in sports anymore. Neither are men reporters. They have to interview players in a area outside of the dressing room.

Oh and BTW, it was the women reporters and athletes who asked that accommodations would be made to keep reporters out of the locker rooms

But when this happens all it means is that there needs to be more women's restrooms.
They did this at Fenway Park in Boston about 25 years ago.

BTW, just because the perverted want to take away the safe place for women in restrooms and locker rooms, the majority of us are going to start pushing back against these crazy laws.

Practical people are not perverted.

Countries With Gender Neutral Bathrooms 2021

Canada
Canada was one of the leading countries leading the charge to include gender-neutral bathrooms in public spaces. The initial legislation was established in 2014, and discussions were held to confirm a symbol to indicate the gender-neutral bathroom. Possible signs for the restroom included a pink triangle or possibly a rainbow triangle. Although there are many gender-neutral bathrooms throughout Canada, Vancouver was the first municipality to offer bathrooms in public buildings.

China
The first toilets that were unisex and gender-neutral appeared in China sometime before 2013. Later, unisex toilets appeared in Shenyang and Chengdu in 2015. A year later in 2016, gender-neutral toilets appeared in Zhangjiabin River in the Shanghai district, and many other toilets have since followed. A recent campaign was launched to make all toilets across China gender-neutral.

India

The Indian Supreme Court ruled in 2014 that people who are transgender will be recognized as a third gender. This ruling helped establish toilets in separate areas for gender-neutral people. Later, in 2017, the Union Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation established new guidelines indicating that members of the transgender community could use whatever toilets they felt most comfortable with. Although the central government has accommodated transgender citizens, it has not stopped violence and attacks against the transgender community, which continue to be an ongoing safety concern for the transgender community.

Thailand
As early as 2013, Thailand began creating separate toilets for effeminate male-bodied people. These toilets are in public spaces as well in private schools and businesses. Several alliances in Thailand, like the Thai Transgender Alliance, have worked to make these separate public bathrooms a reality.

United States
Colorado.
Connecticut.
Delaware.
Illinois.
Kentucky.
Maine.
Maryland.
Massachusetts
New York

In 2015, New York became the first state to implement gender-neutral toilets throughout the public buildings in the state. Since then, OSHA has recently decreed that any single-use restroom in the workplace must be gender-neutral. In private offices and facilities, many companies have a unisex bathroom for people to use. Although legislation is changing to include unisex and gender-neutral bathrooms in public spaces, many transgendered community members still receive abuse and violent protest.

Nepal
Bageshwori Park was the first area to have two unisex toilets. The MP used the Parliamentarian Development Fund to establish bathrooms for a growing trend in Nepal to offer accommodations for transgender people. Several organizations and alliances within Nepal continue to support separate toilets for transgender students within the public and private school systems.

Japan
Although no formal laws indicate the intended use of public restrooms, many residents assume that the restroom stalls are mostly gender-free. In the future, the Tokyo government was planning to place unisex toilets throughout the city. Their ultimate goal was to have at least seven of the main buildings being used for the Olympics to include gender-neutral bathrooms to accommodate transgendered citizens and visitors. There are no plans in place for the rest of Japan regarding gender-neutral restrooms through public areas.

I have no argument about how you dress or what you wear.
You may change into a dress on the street corner if you wish to.
You can shower naked in the rain if you need to. I have no fault with that.
I've seen couples having sex in the park. As long as they don't put their blanket across the bicycle path, I'm fine with it.

Once I discussed with a drug dealer not to dump naked prostitutes into the hall when he was done with them. I told him all guests need to be escorted out of the building by the tenant. I explained that unescorted guests have deficated in the interior hall and he would have to deal with the smell if that happens. He agreed to escort the prostitutes from then on and they would be dressed.

They will always be able to do that. They always have.
Unisex toilet designs improve on safety for users.

Unisex restrooms are not the problem. You can have single stall restrooms that are unisex, I saw them when I was in France.

However, in schools and YMCA's it's a different situation.

Even in older buildings like my own parish hall, there is no single stall restroom, but the ladies room sign was removed and the sign just says, "restroom." This is because they rent the hall out to the local private secular school and have to abide by MA law.

So you can use the rent money to update the facilities. Good idea.

initiate an ambitious renovation plan to create non-gender specific facilities at its high school in place of traditional gender-specific locker rooms.

"initiate an ambitious renovation plan to create non-gender specific facilities at its high school in place of traditional gender-specific locker rooms. "

Why ?

The number of people with gender dysphoria is less than 1%. Yet the taxpayers are going to foot the bill to redesign the locker rooms ?

Females need their safe space and the restroom and locker rooms need to be
those places where they can feel safe.

It's not anxiety, but common sense not giving into the dysfunctional society we've become.

Unisex designs are safer.
