Doesn't matter what the color of your skin is only the content of your character. Congrats to Ms. Sears. Hope that she will carry out her duties with all the integrity required of the office.

Winsome Sears is the first black woman elected to be lieutenant governor in the history of our nation. Sears was strongly opposed to racism, such as the "Critical Race Theory" now being pushed in many schools.

Virginia GOP lieutenant governor nominee slams critical race theory curriculum as ‘nonsense’
Republican Winsome Sears elected Virginia’s first Black woman lieutenant governor
Both of these women. That ran for lieutenant governor have African roots. You should be ashamed of yourself for turning this into Democrats not wanting a black woman to be elected. Democrats don't have an issue with black women running for office. Democrats have different views about things. And don't agree with Republic views.

This is a quote from MSNBC host Tiffany Cross.

"But let’s be honest. All those takes are like searching the edges while refusing to see what’s staring right back at you. And I can assure you, Black voters in Virginia are not shocked by the so-called Youngkin shocker. This isn’t about enthusiasm. This isn’t about Democrats not doing enough to exercise their base, and this definitely is not about messaging or even about Beloved. This is about the fact that a good chunk of voters out there are OK with White supremacy. Let’s call a thing a thing. Actually, scratch that. They are more than OK."

Tiffany Cross Says Democrats Lost Virginia Because ‘A Good Chunk of Voters Out There Are OK With White Supremacy’

Hmm, This is a strange form of white supremacy, getting a black woman elected.

This also from the same article:

The MSNBC host’s seemingly singular explanation is not bolstered by the fact that Youngkin received a higher share of the Black vote than any Republican presidential candidate in recent memory.

As Bret Baier noted, “He got 13% of the Black vote. Donald Trump in 2020 got 11%. Mitt Romney got 8%. John McCain 4%. There is a Republican story to be told about the Black community and chipping away and getting more voters to pay attention. This is a race where the pundits said that Youngkin was blowing the racial dog whistle and trying to get Whites and White supremacists engaged in the race. That’s the dynamic in which more Black voters voted for the Republican than in the past.”

Is this for real? A news anchor actually says that as a FACT that the majority voters are White supremist? I would really want to see the research paper which I don't believe exist. MSM in America is really trying to fabricate facts. Unless one is a mind reader I don't see how anyone can come to the undisputed conclusion that the winning side is White supremist.

Americans please wake up! Your news medias be they left or right leaning are trying to divide you apart. Stroke your fears and indignations. Remember what the Bible says, "Love your neighbor as yourself" and "Do not bear false witness against your neighbor".

When President Obama was running for president many people opposed to him, like me, were told we just did not want a black man in the white house. They did not care we had issues with his politics and ideas. It is much easier to just claim racism than to actually debate ideas. We need to stand up to these bullies if we see this on either side.

Good Day,

Like Winsome said herself it was a really bad day to be a democrat, she is destroying their warped narrative and she is enjoying it.

No, it wasn’t a news anchor. It was an opinion given on an opinion show. Speaking of fabricating facts, you may want to be more careful of what you’re putting out there as facts.

"The problem is here they want, they want white supremacy by ventriloquist effect. There is a black mouth moving, but a white idea through the, running on the runway of the tongue of a figure who justifies and legitimates the white supremacist practices. We know that we can internalize in our own minds, in our own subconscious, and in our own bodies, the very principles that are undoing us. So, to have a black face, speaking in behalf of a white supremacist legacy is nothing new. And it is to the chagrin of those of us who study race that the white folk on the other side and the right wingers on the other side, don’t understand this is politics 101 and this is race, not even 101. What’s beneath 101? It’s the it’s the pre-K of race, you should understand the fact that if you tell black people, look, I support a negro Look, there is a person of color that I am in favor of and that person of color happens to undermine and undercut and subvert the very principles about which we are concerned, you do yourself no service by pointing to them as an example of your racial progressivism."

why is it that the truly racist comments seem to come from the people who complain the most about being disadvantaged by racism?

Good Day,

They have convinced them self they are victims so that they can use their own rage and intellectual dishonesty. To redefine normative categories and speak hate to all who would question their own created subjective self image.

In Him,

Bill

LOLOL. God forbid democrats be called out for being the hypocrites they are. Black people are ok unless they disagree with the work, democrat agenda. Just hilarious.

I must say that the poor coverage of this historic event from the major media should trouble Americans.
A black woman lieutenant governor, an Hispanic attorney general elected and pretty much silence from the left. These are new officials who are ready to take on CRT and the rest of the racism pushed by so many on the left. Hopefully the nation will continue to reject Marxist ideas and move toward Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision of a colorless society.

They've been experiencing racism so long and so often that they just assume many things that may NOT be racist, are.

From Article:
“We can live where we want, we can eat where want — we own the water fountains,” adding, “We’ve had a Black president elected not once but twice, and here I am living proof … In case you haven’t noticed, I am Black, and I have been Black all my life.”
I TRULY think that some folks think that there is no more racism in America because of this.

And that is just soooooo silly.

I think most of us just want some acknowledgement that we have actually made progress in this area and are tired being called racist because we disagree with their politics. No one thinks racism does not exist. But minorities are demonstrably less affected by it today than in the past. I would say President Obama and Winsome Sears would not have been elected 50 years ago but it is not surprising today. Isn't this progress? It seems a lot of these activists think that unless we are a 0% racist society then we are still 100% racist society. It is untrue but it allows them to gain power and wealth. I think part of the Virginia election outcome is that many of us no longer are scared to be called racist when we are not. They are standing up to the bullies that decry racism to get their way and voting for policies they think are best.

No, people see it in CRT, in the bills that Congress is passing that have laws based on race, little girls going home crying because they are taught they are evil racists, etc.

I was very impressed by Ms. Sears’ acceptance speech. Her story of coming to America as a child from Jamaica is inspiring and is what the American Dream is all about! She has achieved her position through hard work, education and service, with gratitude, pride and patriotism. God bless Ms. Sears! :)

All apparently "racist" values according to certain ideologies!
