Here is the full list of 91 studies that affirm natural immunity to Covid-19, Published by The Brownstone Institute and up to date as of 10/15/21:

Study / report title, author, and year published Predominant finding on natural immunity
#1) Necessity of COVID-19 vaccination in previously infected individuals, Shrestha, 2021

Conclusions
Individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from COVID-19 vaccination, and vaccines can be safely prioritized to those who have not been infected before.

Summary
“Cumulative incidence of COVID-19 was examined among 52,238 employees in an American healthcare system. The cumulative incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection remained almost zero among previously infected unvaccinated subjects, previously infected subjects who were vaccinated, and previously uninfected subjects who were vaccinated, compared with a steady increase in cumulative incidence among previously uninfected subjects who remained unvaccinated. Not one of the 1359 previously infected subjects who remained unvaccinated had a SARS-CoV-2 infection over the duration of the study. Individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from COVID-19 vaccination…”

It’s okay to have an incorrect scientific hypothesis. But when new data proves it wrong, you have to adapt. Unfortunately, many elected leaders and public health officials have held on far too long to the hypothesis that natural immunity offers unreliable protection against covid-19 — a contention that is being rapidly debunked by science.

More than 15 studies have demonstrated the power of immunity acquired by previously having the virus. A 700,000-person study from Israel two weeks ago found that those who had experienced prior infections were 27 times less likely to get a second symptomatic covid infection than those who were vaccinated. This affirmed a June Cleveland Clinic study of health-care workers (who are often exposed to the virus), in which none who had previously tested positive for the coronavirus got reinfected. The study authors concluded that “individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from covid-19 vaccination.” And in May, a Washington University study found that even a mild covid infection resulted in long-lasting immunity.

As someone with moderate to severe asthma, I'd still rather have the vaccine over getting Covid with no vaccine.

that is what it is all about CHOICE

AND I SUPPORT YOU BECAUSE YOU MADE A CHOICE AND WERE NOT COERCED INTO IT

Let no one be mistaken by its fancy, official-sounding name: this is all but more tinfoil hattery dressed up as science, with its veneer of respectability deriving entirely from being attached to an 'institute' that is in reality a political think tank and/or opinion website (not sure the difference in this context, really), not anything academic or scientific like it would actually need to be for its publishing such a list of studies to mean anything.

For those who are taken in by this sort of thing, a good rule of thumb is that no place that is actually interested in providing information over opinion will publish something with a title like "The Covid Cult’s Attack on Science and Society" (another covid-related article posted on that fine, fine website).

I haven’t read 91 studies, but the ones I’ve seen have all concluded that the boost in immunity from vaccines is significant even for those that have recovered from Covid. That’s not the same question as comparing the two types of immunity,of course.

This alone kinda gives it away:

"New ideas in public health, scientific discourse, economics, social theory to defend and promote liberty in enlightened, open society."

Promoting liberty ought not to be a right wing code word, though at the moment it seems to be.

  • In states reporting, 0.00%-0.03% of all child COVID-19 cases resulted in death
So if the Covid positive kids all went to school together
then one kid would die per each classroom.

On the positive side, none of the dead ones would get reinfected.

only for a short time like the flu rather vacs or not vacs, if you got the flu once in your life doesn't mean you will never get it again.

Is it better to get a natural immunity to COVID but also be scarred for life from the disease or get immunity from a vaccine and never get the disease at all?

Natural immunity certainly doesn’t last a life time, it will wane and the natural will be at risk once again.

Getting the vaccine during the PEAK of a pandemic and obtaining 1 to 2 years worth of immunity is a far superior option to not having the vaccine during the peak of the pandemic. Also, you can choose to get a booster shot every year to maintain your immunity.

Also keep in mind you can still build natural immunity with the vaccine. You have the vaccine, you can still get COVID but at least now, your body is ready for it, you fight off COVID and you will now have natural immunity.

When you add up the pros and cons and do basic math, this is a no brainer, get vaccinated.

WHy do people point to natural immunity as if it's this great thing. You have to risk death to get it, vaccines don't and guess what for the 3193139 time you can have BOTH. Get the vaccine that keeps you from dying long enough to get natural immunity....gee what a concept.
