There was once a bunch of us back in 2007 to until about 2010 I think that were hear having a blast but the owner decided to change the forum from Christian to generic named and it pretty much infuriated the Christians here who considered it home many left over that debacle. The owner had planned to sell it after (he thought) it would flourish under the new name and URL foru.ms to I guess make a tidy profit. He had done a lot of custom code which made for a lot of fun blessings were really a currency used to customize your "look" from custom fonts and colors and sized of your posts to avatars and pictures and even you own home page. We had constant posting contest threads sponsored by individuals that would pay anywhere from 1 blessing per post to 100 blessings per post.
You could buy clothing and accessories for your avatar (some called them dollies) and there were some item that were very costly in blessings and very rare to have. People were posting like mad and playing games to earn enough to essentially equip themselves. All of that went with the next two owners. The had reputation in the forum where people could rep you and boost your rep and they would skyrocket etc.
I could go on but sadly this thread with the exception of nanajojo and I and now often Bee here is pretty slow in moving.
