Democrats questioned the elections first.

Every time a Republican president is elected,
Democrats go on cable news asking to abolish the electoral college.
That puts doubt in the system and that weakens the system.

The electoral college is good for America.
It gives power to all 50 states.

Here’s your reminder that “Party of Personal Responsibility” is only a bumper sticker slogan, the party that says that will blame someone else for everything they do.

Disagreement over how the election should operate has nothing in common with telling lies about fraud.

I say abolish the electoral college every election regardless of outcome and I am not a democrat.

That's OK because every time the Republicans lose via the Electoral College THEY want to eliminate it, so you don't need to establish that you are not a Democrat.

Is this just your opinion, or is there some documentation?

It's a harmful relic that devalues votes, disenfranchises millions and causes needless division.

a) It's in the Constitution
b) How does it "devalue votes"? How does it disenfranchise millions? How does it cause needless division?

Simply throwing out catch phrases without explanation doesn't do much to convince others.

a) It's in the Constitution

And? The constitution is not a perfect document written by inflatable demi gods that must remain as is. They got some things wrong and we can remedy that.

b) How does it "devalue votes"?

By design the votes of those in more populous states are worth less.
California 24,600,000 registered voters, 55 electoral votes: 447,272
Wyoming 280,000 registered voters, 3 electoral votes: 93,333

How does it disenfranchise millions?

By making it so those in the political minority of a state, democrats in Texas or Oklahoma, Republicans in New York or California, have no say in who is to become president to the point where they may as well leave that section of the ballot blank.

How does it cause needless division?

By robbing millions of their say over who will hold our only truly national office and setting up red state/blue state collective nonsense rather then it being an individual thing.

There is a vast difference between intellectually questioning the basic process and endlessly fighting the results of a particular election.

Before choosing to become comfortably numb to all the rabble with all the buzzwords it does remind me of a figurative I drew once of a lemon tree with people tied to it in an attempt to stop the tree from being uprooted. The next caption was flies buzzing around the roots of bitterness. I can’t remember the caption ......................................... ahhh yes Peter Paul and Mary tune.

One person says something and that stands for half of all
Americans always?
Republicans do not make up half of all Americans and that one person is the head of the national Republican party.
