Haven't posted anything here in quite some time. I'm schizoaffective and not taking any medication. I should be but where I am now I wouldn't know who to turn to. Living in Keyes, OK and it really sucks here. Trying to get back into Texas but not having any luck finding anyone who will take my brother, myself, our three dogs, and our trailer back. I'm really having a lot of depression, some hallucinations....but I hide it so my brother won't worry. I'm watching a lot of inappropriate content because it makes me feel so lonely. What should I do to make my situation better? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks....

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. My dear brother i have the same disorder as you a horrible illness. Yet Jesus can really help you!
It is about finding Him in your heart through the truths of Scripture and let Him lead you.
i found that heeding the truths of scripture in your heart in the Spirit of love For God and people will help you break free from your sins and set you free in His love.
Honest it is amazing what Jesus can do for people like us. He took all my evil voices away and make me stronger than my depression can throw at me simply learning to love God and neighbour.
Make sure you heed love in your heart only through the truths of Scripture, not the loves of the flesh. Please make sure you don't mix them for it gives us wrong information then.
Rather go to Jesus when you are in the mood for inappropriate content and bare your heart to Him and ask Him to heal you from your love for wrong. Ask for His love back in return. Eat His grace, that is believe His forgiving love. Keep doing that - for as long as it takes - in the end God's love inside of you will kill the desire to it wrong and save you from it. That is what He did for me in my life gone wrong, He turned me around and taught me to do it right.
Jesus is absolutely awesome to know brother, be of good courage!

be forceful, rude, prideful, arrogant, selfish, lustful
or otherwise be untrue to God's loving truth.
Neither should life be hurting or ill,
hungry, oppressed, despised, hated
or otherwise have existence in wrong.
Please hand your Bad Life over to Jesus
Humbly ask for His Good Life back in return
and go love God, self and neighbour with Joy.
The Church knows that Jesus is coming soon
All bad life will be our shameful past then,
so please leave your bad life while you can!

I understand what both of you are saying but I'm not sure what to do. Don't get me wrong I still believe in God but I'm not so sure he believes in me. As far as seeking professional help goes...it's like I previously posted there is nowhere to find any help where I currently am. That's why I want to get back into Texas.

Stopped taking medications because I lost my pdoc. And where I'm currently living there is anyone to turn to. I don't even have a physician here.

Of course He wants to save you! Our Heavenly Father has told us that years ago already. He does not want any one to perish but everyone to find eternal life in His Son Jesus.
He loves you to put your faith in His love. Honest that is what you need to learn to do.
Just try!
Try to place your faith in God's love because Jesus died for your sins, even for seconds, and you will see that it gets better in your heart straight away. Yet when you have no faith in Jesus then you will feel bad and you will be accused inside and trampled on.
Let this be a sign to you!
Faith in God's love - Jesus Christ - brings you His peace.
No faith in Jesus Christ brings you doubt, unbelief, fear, confusion, torment?

I get this way sometimes. Hang in there, Walker. Yes, Christ loves you. He died for you. That is proof. Spend more time with Him, and He’ll help you spend less time absorbed in inappropriate content. You are worth saving, and He lives you. Do you have a New Testament or a Bible you can read?

We say so
But God Himself, through Paul also says so.
1 Timothy 2:4
"who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,"

Try reading the New Testament on-line, Walker. And get a prayer routine going, even a tiny one. You sound depressed, mate. Take time out to talk to God. Tell Him what you’ve told us. He loves you, Walker. Even if you can’t feel it right now.

Yes that is what i witnessed to you before i also suffer from schizo effective disorder and Jesus made it right. What He did for me He wants to do for you.
Faith in God's love got me out of my pit and into His kingdom. i love life with and in Jesus. He is greatest Saviour ever.
Repent from your unbelief and accept the truth brother. God is calling you even now, do you not perceive that?
Place your faith in God's love, why believe His wrath but not His love? That does not seem smart to me.

The Wicked captivated my truth
the truth of my heart and mind
and wound me around their lies
knotted me out of my own reality
into the dungeons of torture below.
Unable to unravel their cob webs
the wicked took control of my life
and brought much pain and misery
feasting on my God given good life
at the expense of my own welfare.
Yet when Christ light lit up my night
and i saw Him on the clouds of heaven
The Wicked sprung all their traps
thinking i was as good as dead
trapped in their nasty fowler's nets.
Yet the Lion of the tribe of Judea
killed the goats great and small
and set me free from their control
and gave me back my freedom in Him
feasting good times growing New Life.
