Why are Trump supporters so mad? (msn.com)

How we’ll get rid of GOP extremists (msn.com)

The real question is "why do msnbc reporters only understand their liberal selves and nobody else"? Take your blinders off; you really need to be woke in the conservative/religious ways to be better reporters.

I went to the first newsfeed by MSNBC (Why are Trump supporters so mad?) and put the above statement in their comment section. I was told this didn't meet community guidelines and they wouldn't post the comment.

Here are some of the other comments made by people for this newsfeed:

Those supporters are nothing but KKK members and white supremists. They can't stand anything that doesn't take their view, no different than the National Socialism era in Germany.

So my comments didn't meet community guidelines but these comments did. Then they wonder why so many people don't believe the mainstream media. I just wanted people to see the hypocrisy in these news organizations. Can we try to listen to both sides of the conversation and let people decide whats right and whats wrong?

Why bother with them? I long gave up on them, even though they occasionally run stories that are worth watching or looking at (will occasionally watch a YouTube video posted by them)
There has been a long time problem with progressives (aka regressives) being stuck in some kind of ad hominen mode where they can never listen to the other side and actually acknowledge when the other side has a legitimate point.

As a conservative, I have often been accused of "being in a bubble" for simply voicing conservative sentiments and slogans, but I look at other stuff than just Fox News. I actually love it when a lot of liberal media journalists, and news YouTubers (Glen Greenwald, Matt Tabi, Krystal Ball, Jimmy Dore, Tim Pool etc.) who are antiestablishment have similar opinions as mine on some issues even though our politics and philosophy is often very different. Basically the echo chamber, bubble criticism much more applies to your average mainstream liberal journalist and their fan base than me (the people that were shocked by Trumps election in the first place). But these are the people that are largely elitist, don't understand a big chunk of American society, they only have their pet issues like illegal aliens or LBGTQ stuff etc.

Interesting side note posted a recent video of Glenn Greenwald since I mentioned him above and lots of people don't know who he is, but it also touches on the media bias as far as treating Biden with kid gloves and not really doing their job at scrutinizing the claims from the White House. He actually covers an initial MSNBC video on the the last Afghanistan drone strike and how their was no reason journalistically to cover it so positively.

I don't understand why I get so many newsfeeds from them, I hardily ever look at their foolish stories. I feel (and this is only a theory) that MSN purposely feeds those stories so as to (supposedly) enlighten me on how liberal thinking goes. Well, there needs to be a two way street. Look at my comment compared to those other MSNBC Newfeed's comments. Mine's quite tame compared to their spewed hatred.

For entertainment, I make a round of the usual mainstream suspects regularly. The headlines are hilarious. Then you go to a real source or two - Reuters, for example, or some international source - and find out what really happened.

I'm guessing there is something going on in the algorithm of YouTube or whereever this going on. There was a time I was really only looking at You-tubers and avoided the big networks unless their was a major breaking disaster. But You-tube was really pushing legacy media videos, especially from cable networks. So I got some FOX news stuff pushed after a watching You-tube channels that were more moderate like Tim Pool. I did notice that the algorithm seemed to push me CNN videos at times like I started to watch educational videos like maybe TED talks, or a philosophy channel.

I did a thread on this sort of thing before.

Will MSNBC ever mature to be a serious news organization?

Definitely not. NBC has several news channels at present, and regardless of whatever any of us thinks about the objectivity of the reporting on the others, MSNBC is retained by the owners simply in order to cater to a certain whacko fringe that tunes in to hear what it wants to hear.

And MSNBC, while not one of the most-watched channels, does have almost a corner on that market.

You know what's funny?
As a progressive I would never choose to watch them.
Because as a progressive I want my sites to show some semblance of balance, or I consume it with a strong skepticism of it having unknown inaccuracies that I would want to check out somewhere else.

There are a LOT of low quality news websites for american news.

Maybe when Fox does.
I know that if Fox somehow became the most Liberal news channel of them all, it would probably still be vilified in this kind of knee-jerk fashion for the reason that there is NO OTHER channel of any note that Liberals can pick on. The others--ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, etc.--have long been in the Liberals' corner.

The fact is, however, that Fox has changed a lot in recent years and is no longer the premier Conservative channel that it once was. Some of the ongoing but outdated and mistaken attacks upon Fox may of course owe to people simply not having paid much attention to recent developments, even though the changes that have taken place with Fox News' have been well-publicized.

That I understand came from Rupert Murdoch trying to pass the torch to his sons who are more liberal than he is.

More like the Overton Window has moved so far to the right that it's starting to leave Fox behind.

Are you aware that msn is part of Microsoft and includes news from Fox and USA Today and NYT, and nearly a 1000 others?

Are you aware that MSNBC is part of the NBC family of businesses - like NBCNews.com, MSNBC.com, TODAY.com, Nightly News, Meet the Press, Dateline?

msn is not MSNBC. So your OP is odd as you are conflating MSNBC with msn.
