This story is too funny! I figured I would seek your confirmation and opinion if it is true. I was watching an Indian guy who does commentary on news, usually stuff relevant to India, but also covers the US stuff too. But he posted this video with this description.

Justin Trudeau has called for the conduct of snap elections on September 20, two years ahead of the slated general elections scheduled for October 2023. Soon after he announced premature elections last month, his ratings and fortunes have nosedived and currently, the liberals and conservatives are in a neck-to-neck fight to form the next government in Canada.

Could this be some kind of Christian version of bad Karma aka "sowing and reaping" for folks like Artur Pawlowski I wonder?

The video does put some things into perspective. Lots of people were touting how Canada managed things better than the US with Covid because of having roughly half the deaths as us, but that didn't come for free, they suffered double the economic damage.

I'm Canadian...IMO my fellow Canadians are famous for complaining about the Liberals but so many many time just keep voting them in.

Why is that? Vote splitting Among American Republicans and conservatives is rare. It's democrats and independents that "split the ticket".

Other Canadians may disagree with me. It's just my feeling many get mad at Liberal leaders and talk a good talk about wait till the next election and yet they usually vote them in. Even if Truduea and gang get only a minority government the NDP will keep backing them up. I think we're more of a country which have an over abundance of civil servant unions and usually they think it's in their interests to vote by their wallet. Government and such unions always talk a good talk that negotiations are tough in contracts...nonsense....they usually always get generous deals not like the private sector unions. Thing is though nobody else gets these raises to pay the new taxes to cover the costs of these deals. As I say other Canadians might strongly disagree with me but those are my thoughts.
