What hypocrisy? What lies?

The ones blatantly pictured in my comment.

The only one of those pictures that I recognize is the last picture of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez at the MET Gala. (As it occurred a few days ago and this picture was widely circulated.) I'm not sure what hypocrisy that is supposed to represent. To my understanding, gatherings of this type in NY require vaccination. This picture is from the "red carpet" portion and is outside, so a mask would not be needed. I don't know if they required masks inside, or use a supplementary testing protocol. If you really want to find out you could look into their COVID protocols.

I suspect the "hypocrisy" in that picture is about he "Tax the rich" dress at a gathering of the rich, powerful, and famous. While Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is not rich, she is moderately famous and definitely powerful as a member of Congress. If anything some of the other attendees might object to her desire to tax them more and the statement of the dress was a direct challenge to them, in their presence. Seem rather bold rather than hypocritical.

As for the other photos, I don't know where they come from or why they represent hypocracy as you didn't caption them

The hypocrisy is that they wear masks for the media, and then when they're unsuspecting of it, they take them off. We all know there are vaccine breakthrough cases (~24%). We all know the vaccines are not slowing the spread (see Israel's statistics on that), and we are still told to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. That's textbook hypocrisy.

Masks on for cameras.

Masks off around friends.

We have your word, and absolutely nothing else, that the masks were off because they were "unsuspecting."

This makes no sense in relation to my actual post.

The one picture I could recognize was part of a "red carpet" event. Which is where attendees prance about in front of cameras specifically to be seen and photographed. No one in the "red carpet" photograph is wearing a mask, so you "hypocrisy" complaint about mask is irrelevant. (This is also a thread about *vaccination* requirements not masks.)

As for the other photos, I suspect the "Obama" photo is from his birthday party this summer. (A event which elicited much outcry from the howling classes.) As I recall from news reports, everyone was required to be vaccinated, and the scale of the event was reduced (to reduce crowding) given the rise in cases from "Delta". These all seem within the recommendations of the time and perhaps now as well.

Then permit me to give the context:

From Biden Drops the Hammer on Unvaccinated top to bottom

Obama's birthday party (2021)
Fauci at baseball game (2020)
Pelosi at fundraiser (2021)
G7 summit (2021)
AOC at Met Gala (2021)

Masks for photo ops, no masks for socializing. At the gala, "the help" had masks, the attendees did not. Complete and utter hypocrisy. I'll take covid as seriously as they do from now on.

"These all seem within the recommendations"

Which recommendations?

[edit: I posted without entering any text.]

So I was right about the Obama and AOC photos.

Fauci is sitting with a small group he presumably knows far from anyone else, outdoors. That's pretty safe.

I don't know anything about the Pelosi fundrasier (location, vaccination status of attendees, etc.)

I guarantee that everyone at the G7 summit was vaccinated.

All of these seem to follow the scope of the kind of recommendations that have been repeatedly issued by the CDC and other public health agencies around the world (there is much unknown about the Pelosi event) throughout the pandemic.

I expect that you will avoid gatherings of unvaccinated people from now on given your claim to follow their examples (or level of seriousness about COVID) and if you are not vaccinated with shortly rectify that and not attend any gatherings until it is complete. (Or are you the hypocrite?)

Virus is still spreading among the vaccinated: yes or no?

If 80% of the population is vaccinated but make up only 60% of cases, that means it is working.

That hardly goes along with the claims of "95% effective at preventing hospitalization or death".

Face it--we've been lied to by the pharmaceutical companies and their friends in government about the need and effectiveness (and safety) of these drugs.

Don't forget Gavin Newsom at a Restaurant with his friends while his California subjects were obediently locked down at home.

Do you want to talk about the vaccine mandate now, and not your off topic sub-thread about mask hypocrisy? If so, reply to a post about that. I'm done with this sub-thread.

Well, it still remains that 12 (edit) states have refused to enact the mandate and Biden cannot mandate it at the federal level. States are responsible here. They can mandate it in their own state. Biden would have to put it through the senate and the house. You're looking at at least a year.

Sure, it requires a bit more granular data than you provided - Effectiveness of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines...

When I got the J&J shot in May, the guy giving it to me said it has a 100% effectiveness rate at preventing hospitalization and death. I told him that I heard it was said to only be around 63%, and he replied that the 63% is only for preventing contracting Covid in the first place.

With the Moderna and Pfizer being advertised to be so much better than J&J, and still seeing masses of fully vaxxed people hospitalized and dying, it's amazing that people still have so much faith in these things.

I'm not sure what the "at least a year" part is. (A new federal law?)

As for the mandate, it isn't quite a mandate in the way we usually think of such things. (Those *are* limited, or only authorized for state/local governments.)

What it is, among others, is:

* A requirement for all federal employees to be vaccinated;
* A requirement that all contractor employees of the federal government be vaccinated (this includes a lot of people that seem to be federal employees, but actually draw paychecks from private employers);
* A requirement that all health care workers in hospitals/clinics that receive Medicare/Medicaid funding be fully vaccinated;

additionally, under the OSHA, for workplace safety, all employers with at least 100 employees will be required to have their staff vaccinated or regularly tested. (I don't know if this covers state and local governments or not.)

Unless you contract for the federal government or get Medicare/Medicaid funding, if you work at a small business or as an independent contractor there is no vaccine or testing requirement at all.

I wish I could find the article that stated my points. I would have attached it as a reference. However, the gentleman explained the process and the legalities. Best if Biden lets each state deal with it and not waste time on this. He has much bigger fish to fry that are his responsibility.

Look up Novavax. If you haven't heard about it, ask why not.

The subject came up, most likely because you said:

Since the vaccinated are clearly being infected, then not wearing a mask at the G7 summit goes against the data.

No, the topic (mask hypocrisy) came up because of that stupid post full of pics of unmasked democrats. Just another distraction...

The G7 summit was in early/mid June. Data on vaccine efficacy didn't yet include delta variant effects yet. At that point the vaccine would have been viewed as near perfect protection, especially when everyone was vaccinated.

To date in America, there have been over 600,000 serious adverse reactions to the jab, with over 1,400 deaths - and the coverups and lies continue

Most of those dying are dying from severe adverse reactions to the so-called vaccines. They continue to deceive the gullible public.

They don’t count you as vaccinated for 14 days after being vaxxed, yet 80% of those who die from it, die within that time frame - so those deaths are deceptively called deaths of unvaccinated people - the surge in unvaccinated deaths is in reality deaths of the vaccinated.
