"Why does the President support abortion where his own Catholic faith teaches abortion is morally wrong?"
Texas allows birth control pills, vasectomies and the morning after rape pill. People should not do sexual immorality anyway. This has been addressed many times by the president himself. The questioner didn't want an answer.
We have seen where theocracy can lead with the Taliban.
My own personal dilemma is that the "pro-life" politicians are against abortion but are unconcerned about all other social justice issues, which, if addressed, would reduce abortions more than their punitive approach.
That's my own personal dilemma as well, for the most part. I consider myself pro-life and I am against many, if not most, "elective" abortions, although I am also pro-choice and believe there should a lot of choice given to pregnant women about abortion. This is mainly due to health reasons, which are numerous, even if a woman isn't likely to die from the pregnancy. This has been addressed many times by the president himself. Pro-abortionists say this kind of thing so often, it was entirely predictable that someone would respond as you have. The simple fact is that conservatives generally believe in personal responsibility and self sufficiency. That includes not taking the risk of falling pregnant if you do not have the means to take care of a child, or do not have the desire to have a child. And it's unfortunate that I have to point this out, but your response is a red-herring, intended to distract from the fact that some people support killing the unborn. My own personal dilemma is that the "pro-life" politicians are against abortion but are unconcerned about all other social justice issues, which, if addressed, would reduce abortions more than their punitive approach.
And they have tried to repeal the affordable care act in the courts. They'll allow vasectomy as long as they are unaffordable.Texas allows birth control pills, vasectomies and the morning after rape pill. People should not do sexual immorality anyway.
LOL, that is RICH! The simple fact is that conservatives design socialist funnels to siphon off wealth from the liberals who produce it into their own unproductive pockets. Another simple fact is that conservatives do nothing but complain about various groups of peopke - minorities, gays, "illegals", now pro-choice people, democrats in general, Biden, Harris, women, socialists, doctors, science - everyone and everything else is to blame for all their problems in life, no personal responsibility or ownership is taken by any of them. The simple fact is that conservatives generally believe in personal responsibility and self sufficiency.
Of course you and other conservatives are not interested in debating what you call "extreme examples" because then your absolute prohibition of abortions falls apart and people see the irrationality and lack of humanity of it. We get it, you rape victims should also raise their rapists' children for them. Women who risk health problems should just hope they live through the pregnancy and if they don't then oh well...P.S. I'm not interested in debating extreme examples, such as pregnancy caused by rape. That's an entirely different ball game from allowing abortion on demand to all and sundry.
The real story ....... If a woman wants an abortion she WILL find someone to do it. This is about saving womens lives which I fear has been lost in this whole conversation. I am against abortion because 40 years ago I had one and I still regret having one, yet, I am also against a woman forced into a back alley procedure or even attempt it herself. There is blood on the hands either way."Why does the President support abortion where his own Catholic faith teaches abortion is morally wrong?"
I thought it wasn't only women who could get pregnant?"Why does the President support abortion where his own Catholic faith teaches abortion is morally wrong?"

This thread took a convenient ( for some) turn from abortion to economics. Biden is Catholic. He’s pro choice. That’s bad. Period. Anything else you want to throw into the argument is irrelevant.
Because she cannot say that the man does not live according to his faith -
While the truth - it would be a bad soundbite
Joe Biden is probably the most religiously observant president
