Colorado's attorney general said Wednesday that a grand jury indicted three officers and two paramedics in the death of Elijah McClain, a Black man who was put in a chokehold and injected with a powerful sedative two years ago in suburban Denver.

The 23-year-old's death gained widespread attention during last year's protests against racial injustice and police brutality following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Going by his tone it's clear they believe cops have the right to murder anyone they suspect.

Wheels of justice grind achingly slow. This was even caught on camera. Poor kid was literally robbed of his life. A meek fellow who was brutally choked by cops then shot full of a horse tranquilizer Ketamine. I'm certainly glad those officers were finally charged with their crimes, however long it took. Their HAS to be a deterrent for this continued brutal behavior from those charged with serving and protecting American citizens!
