“Floridians are free to choose — and all Americans should be free to choose — how they govern their affairs, how they take care of themselves and our families, and they should not be consigned to live — regardless of which state in the union — consigned to live in a Faucian dystopia in which we’re governed by the whims of bureaucratic authorities who care little for our freedom, little for our aspirations and little for our happiness,” he continued. “No more. We can’t let it happen going forward.”

As I have said, I will be one that votes against Desantis in 2022 and I know there are many more who will vote against him as well.

He does not represent my interests!

Yet he represents every freedom loving, non-totalitarian interest. Especially in comparison to the increasingly hyper-fascist agendas coming from the pro-child-abuse Biden administration.

If I am able to get my voting rights back by 2024, I will gladly vote for Ron DeSantis for president but I'll be concerned about who will fill in the spot of governor of Florida (If I am still living here by then).

But DeSantis is right: this entire covid19 "crisis" is being exploited by the government to switch our system of government over to one much like the EU, where the individual countries do not have much say and are governed by bureaucrats that are completely unaccountable to the public from Brussels. The foundations are being laid right now for a future in which, if the people make too much noise, these unaccountable bureaucrats like fruitcake fauci are simply going to "shut off" civil liberties: not let you leave your house, mandate vaccines that haven't been approved by the FDA & mandate wearing a mask in your own home, restrict travel, restrict purchasing power, kill the ability of someone to run a small business and be their own boss... we're headed down the path of fascism (or maybe it's Faucism): wherein corporate power is going to merge with government to run a very restrictive police state that would make the German Democratic Republic blush.

If you say so. That seems to be what your side says and I disagree with it.

As what was shown in 2020 with Trump, DeSantis can be removed from office and I will do my part to make that happen.

"You'll own nothing and be happier for it."

And what's going to happen when I do in fact, continue to own things and tell them to jump in front of a train?

Because the few material possessions I have, I am not giving up just so that a bunch of elite freaks can pat themselves on the back for implementing "socialism" and making a more "socially just world".

They've already taken away my right to own a gun, so I can't really do much if they come here to my door to confiscate my possessions and give them to people who did nothing to earn them, but I'm fully planning to die on my feet rather than to live on my knees. I'll destroy every piece of property I own before I share it in "socialism" and that includes my house. If I don't get to keep the little that I worked to own, no one is going to get to enjoy it.

So can a tyrannical government. 1776. The socialist trans are going to find their bongs and sex toys don't make good weapons.

The only things they're good at fighting are babies in the womb and unsuspecting old people.

Should deSantis next tell Floridians they are free to read books also, or free to mow their lawns.

It's deSantis that interfered in private business and told them how to run their business about vaccine passports.

I've gotta feeling he won't be elected again. You can fool many people a while, and then time runs out on that, and the game's up.

Don't let them fool you, they have armed paramilitaries like the Socialist Rifle Association but they'd be relatively easy to take out if you've ever watched any of the YouTube footage of them "training" (lots of whining and lisping in those videos).

The biggest problem that you're going to have, aside from the regular units that remain loyal to Obiden are going to be Antifa and BLM, the armed paramilitary wings of the democrat party. Especially because it's already been shown that if they attack you and you shoot them, then you cannot argue self-defense because of the protection and sponsorship that they receive from the democrat party. Look at the Kyle Rittenhouse situation: that kid's life is over because he chose to stand up to Antifa/BLM.

We all have to count the cost and determine whether we'd rather die on our feet or live on our knees. I have chosen the first option, but I don't suspect that a lot of people will because it's easier to just go along with what the left wants so that you can still enjoy reality television, inappropriate contentography, and McFood.

Do you know what they say about assumptions?

They featured an article on their website titled you will own nothing and you will be happy. I noticed they removed it a few months ago.
They imagine a world where every thought is read and interacted with. You think it would be nice to have spaghetti for dinner and voila! a spaghetti dinner is delivered right to your doorstep. Zero rights to privacy equals zero rights to property. This is why they're using big tech to remove the right to free speech.

I think it's nothing but conspiracy theory bunk contrived by taking something said well out of context. Read the article I posted to see what I mean.

I wish this conspiracy was just a theory, but it's published right on their website including that spaghetti example.

Nope, that's opinions.

I know that, I'm being a smart alec.

Yes I know what they say about assumptions, but I just assume that people most people aren't going to fight back when the government decides that it's going to overstep it's boundaries because it's been doing that and nobody has decided to rise up and fight back yet-- as it's easier to "go along to get along" and not lose your "privileges" of access to mind-rotting television, fast food, and vices.

And I say "privileges" because that's all that we really have in America anymore: privileges, not rights. Our rights have been being trampled on and were effectively taken away twenty years ago because, to quote Ilhan Omar: "Some people did something". Every year it gets a little bit worse, the noose tightens a little more and life becomes more restrictive. With the WEF and IMF clamoring for America to get in line with the "great reset", where first world nations economies will be collapsed until everyone is as poor as the third-world for the sake of "social justice" (can't have some people in countries having a higher standard of living than others), we're going to see our privileges being stripped away at an alarmingly quick rate in the years to come.

Pretty soon, elections are not even going to matter because the government and the media are just going to collude to rig them the same way that they were rigged in the DDR and Soviet Union. America will officially become a one-party state (not like it isn't already) and those who do not smile about the "new normal" will be sent off to be "reeducated". They're priming the pump by allowing Big Tech to be the arbiters of what counts as "acceptable speech and opinion" and by erasing what it even means to be a man or a woman with the transexual movement. The government figured out in the 1980s that in order to step on people's rights, all they had to do was outsource those "rights" to private companies because "private companies can do whatever they want and aren't bound by the constitution".

I see it on the horizon already. It's going to start with people who refuse to get the vaccine that apparently does no good and it's going to progress to religious people in general, then conservatives, and ultimate white & asian heterosexuals, mostly males but a decent amount of women as well. The evidence for it is all around you, all you have to do is look into what the goals of the "social justice" movement, the LGBTQWERTY+ movement, and Antifa and BLM actually want the world to be like. Hint, it's not good. It's a form of fascism that will be called "socialism" but is not actually socialism, as private companies will simply be making your decisions for you.
