Also, I'm not sure if I believe in The Concept of a trinity anymore, as a result of melchezidek being in The Bible. When Compared to that no one has seen The Father, and that Melchizidek's order is lesser than the order of Jesus, which the Bible Imply's that as a result melchezidek is not Jesus and God Himself states that there was no other God that existed before Him it is certain that if Melchezidek is both a priest and had an established order and had no origin that he is part of The Elohim.

We have to believe in the Trinity in order to post in
the Christianity section of the CF forums.
Anyways here is a quick breakdown of...

The Trinity:

The Bible teaches that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) (1 Timothy 2:5) (Isaiah 45:5).

Yet, the Bible also teaches that there are distinctions within the Godhead or that there is a plural nature to God.

Here are a couple of quick points:

#1. The word Elohim (אֱלֹהִ֔ים) is both a singular and a plural noun.
#2. God refers to Himself in plural form (Genesis 1:26) (Genesis 3:22) (Genesis 11:7) (Isaiah 6:8).
#3. Plurality of God in New Testament (Matthew 28:19) (2 Corinthians 13:14) (John 14:16-20).
#4. Introductions to both the Son & Holy Spirit (Daniel 7:9,10,13,14) (John 14:16)
#5. Different persons of Godhead appear at one time (Luke 3:21-22)
#6. Distinctions of Wills (Luke 22:42).
#7. Conversations Between the Godhead (Psalm 2:1-12) (Psalm 45:6-7) (Psalm 110:1) (Matthew 11:27) (John 17:24).

The Trinity is told to us in one verse.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7).

Romans 1:20 says,
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Meaning, even nature itself declares the Godhead (or the Trinity).

Atoms = Nucleus, Protons, Electrons.
Water Molecules = Hydrogen Atom, Hydrogen Atom, Oxygen Atom.
Man Made in God's Image = Physical Body, Spirit Body, Soul.

Although the word "Trinity" is not found within the Scriptures, the word "Godhead" is used instead (Acts of the Apostles 17:29) (Romans 1:20) (Colossians 2:9).

In Genesis it says let US make man in OUR image and OUR likeness. Why is God referring to Himself in the plural form? It only makes sense if He is triune.

Jesus had power as God.

#1. Jesus said He has power to raise the dead to life just as the Father had power to raise the dead (John 5:21).
#2. Hebrews 1:3 talks about how Christ held all things together by the word of His power when He purged us of our sins.
#3. Jesus said, He would raise up this Temple (His body) three days later (John 2:19).
#4. Jesus had the power to forgive sins and give eternal life (Mark 2:7) (Luke 7:44-50) (John 14:6).
#5 Jesus had power to take away the sins of the entire world (John 1:29).
#6. Jesus Christ said wherever two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them (Matthew 18:20). This was said to the people he was around and not to just us today.
#7. Jesus knew men's thoughts (Matthew 9:4) (Matthew 12:25) (Mark 2:8) (Luke 5:22) (Luke 6:8) (Luke 9:47) (Luke 24:38).
#8. Jesus knew about the lives of others (John 2:24) (John 4:17-18) (John 4:29) (John 6:64).

God purchased us with His own blood:

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Acts of the Apostles 20:28).

There is no Savior beside or next to God:

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” (Isaiah 43:11).

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.” (Matthew 16:19).

It's not the same. There is the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. The spirit of the law is larger and guided by love, not by a set of written rules. Ancient Israel needed those laws written down. God had not yet come and 'written upon their hearts'. We have this and the Holy Spirit. If Jesus is your Lord and saviour you no longer need written laws to guide you.
Actually, there is no "letter of the law" and "spirit of the law."
There is ony "the letter" (the written code) and "the Spirit" (the Holy Spirit).

". . .for the letter kills and the Spirit gives life." (2 Corinthians 3:6)

The letter kills because "all those who rely on observing the law are under a curse."
(Galatians 3:10)

The Spirit gives life in writing the law inwardly on tablets of human hearts (v.3), providing the believer with love for God's law which previously he had hated, and power to keep it, which previously he did not have.

So "the spirit of the law" is not actually larger and guided by love more than is the written code. Rather, the Spirit provides love of the law and power to keep it.

Holy Spirit is God:

The Holy Spirit is called God:

“Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” (Acts of the Apostles 5:3-4).

The Holy Spirit is on equal level with being God:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” (Matthew 28:19).

The Holy Spirit is eternal:

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14).

The Holy Spirit is a person:

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;” (John 14:16).

The Holy Spirit can be grieved:

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” (Ephesians 4:30).

The Holy Spirit can be blasphemed:

“And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” (Matthew 12:32).

Important Note: Only God can be blasphemed.

The Father Sent The Holy Spirit

The Bible says that God the Father sent the Holy Spirit. Jesus said.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you (John 14:26).

The Father will send the Holy Spirit, not Himself, to help believers.

There Is A Difference Between The Father And The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit does the will of God the Father. Paul wrote.

And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will (Romans 8:27).

Source used for Holy Spirit being distinct from the Father:
Is the Holy Spirit a Distinct Person from God the Father?

It seems like an assumption, what your saying however, given The Context that Jesus Statement involves:

1.) A statement regarding obeying His commandments
2.) That His Commandment's are Obviously Consistent with The Law
3.) That The Law is not man's Guide but The Spirit
4.) That You MUST Obey His Commandments without The Spirit to Receive The Spirit seems its possible that you can Obey His Commandments without GodS Spirit.

I don't think it alludes to the fruits of a Spirit you do not yet already possess. In Terms of Jesus being The True Vine, Spiritually those who are a part of Him Receive OF His Spirit however if you are not, you do not and behave as The World. My Quesrion is , Especially since its been brought up, are those who are effectively IN Jesus Those who have RECEIVED The Holy Spirit, or is it an omnipresent Spirit that indwelling all people? The Emphasis IS important.

“And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him” (Acts of the Apostles 5:32).

Jesus was not referring to the 10 commandments in John 14:15.

First, while we are not under the Old Law: if you know anything about the Old Law, it was actually 613 Laws and not just 10. Just do a Google search on the 613 laws of Moses, or you can check out this wiki fandom page here on the 613 Laws of Moses. So to say it is just 10 is simply an oversimplification of the many laws God has given to Israel.

Second, Jesus was not referring to the Old Law, but He was referring to His commandments (i.e. the New Law). For Jesus was making changes to the Law (even before the New Covenant went officially into effect with His death). For Jesus was primarily teaching New Covenant teachings and not Old Covenant teachings during His earthly ministry.

Jesus practiced obedience to the Mosaic Law, so the position that John 14:15 is referring to something other than the Mosaic Law is the position that Jesus was a hypocrite who preached something other than what he practiced and that he is not our savior because he sinned in violation of Deuteronomy 4:2, which forbids making changes to the Mosaic Law. God is sovereign, so we are under all of His laws. In John 14:24, Jesus said that his teachings were not his own, but that of the Father, so he did not teach his own laws, and if he had, then he would not have been one with the Father because he would have been in disagreement about which laws we should follow. Jesus and the vast majority of the people he interacted with during his ministry were all under the Mosaic Covenant, so Jesus should not be interpreted as teaching things contrary to it, but rather everything he taught as in accordance with it. Everything that Jesus said after "but I say unto you..." was in accordance with the OT, while everything he said after "you have heard that it was said" was not fully in accordance with the OT, so Jesus was not making changes to what was written, but was correcting what the people had heard being incorrectly said. For example:

Matthew 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

While the OT does instruct us to love our neighbor, it does not instruct us to hate our enemy, so that is what he was fulfilling the law by correcting. On the contrary, loving our enemy is in accordance with verses like Exodus 23:4-5, Deuteronomy 23:7, Proverbs 24:17-18, and Proverbs 25:21-22. Even if it were true that Jesus had raised the bar and that he could do that without sinning, then that would mean that we should still obey the Mosaic Law plus whatever else you think that he raised the bar to.

You are confusing the identification of a believer by Jesus (one who obeys) with "necessary works" to receive the Holy Spirit.

There can be no good works without the Holy Spirit.

Many believers today misinterpret 2 Corinthians 3:6.

It says,

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6).

Now, this verse is not saying that we are to interpret Scripture in a literal way over some overly spiritualistic interpretation (i.e. read the Bible as metaphor when it does not align with what you like to hear). The letter that kills is in reference to the Torah or the Old Testament Law of Moses (the 613 Laws of Moses given to Israel). The context is referring to the two different ways each of these covenants began and it's not talking about the letter in general like the literal commands of Jesus or His followers.

The Old Covenant Law of Moses BEGAN with the letter with the two tablets of stone, and the written Torah.

The New Covenant BEGAN with the audible words of Jesus Christ, and His apostles, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and not by the letter like with the Law of Moses. That is the point Paul was making. We are now under a New Covenant (Which means we are to serve in newness of spirit and not in the oldness of the letter - Romans 7:6). The oldness of the letter is the Torah or the Old Testament Law of Moses. We are not to serve by looking to the Law of Moses. Yes, all believers (who are truly faithful) are guided by the Holy Spirit, but the Spirit is not going to guide us into any wrongdoing, but the Spirit is going to guide us to obey what the New Testament says. The Spirit is not going to guide us into obeying the whole of the Law of Moses. The Law of Moses as a whole or package deal is no more.

The context of 2 Corinthians 3:6 shows the differences of the two covenants.

2 Corinthians 3:3, 2 Corinthians 3:7, 2 Corinthians 3:12-17 says,

[3] “Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [12] Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: [13] And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: [14] But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. [15] But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. [16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. [17] Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

The context is not saying for us to look at Scripture in a non-literal way and if you do it will bring death. The point Paul was making is that the Old Law is no more. For in the Old Law it did bring death because if somebody disobeyed God's commands in the Old Testament, you could be stoned and or killed physically by God's people (the Israelites). This does not mean we can turn God's grace into a license for immorality by saying that Jesus paid for all future sin or by just believing in Jesus alone for salvation. This is not to oversimplify God's commands in loving God and others in a way that we want when God has given us more than just the two greatest commands. In fact, obeying the 400 approximate commands in the New Testament is a partial fulfillment of the 1st greatest commandment. For to love God with all your heart is to keep His commandments. For Jesus says if you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15). Just painting a broad brush stroke of loving God and your neighbor without truly seeking to obey all of what God says in His Word is to simply follow our own way of thinking vs. simply following what God's Word says.

In the New Covenant (or New Testament) the Moral Laws (like: “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” Do not covet,” “Do not commit adultery,” etc.) are repeated from the 613 laws within the Law of Moses and they still are in effect (i.e. They have been carried over into the New Testament). However, the Old Testament Law of Moses as a whole or package deal is no more (contractually speaking). Ceremonial Laws or commands: Things like the commands on circumcision, animal sacrifices, the Saturday Sabbath, dietary etc. are no longer binding under the New Covenant. This is because the written Law given to Israel is no longer in effect (as a whole). How so?

Here are a list of verses showing us the Old Law is no more:

"When God speaks of a "new" covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear." (Hebrews 8:13) (NLT).

”Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” (Romans 7:4).

"But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter." (Romans 7:6).

"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" (Colossians 2:14).

20 "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using; ) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh."
(Colossians 2:20-23).

“By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its decrees and ordinances [which He annulled]; that He from the two might create in Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace.” (Ephesians 2:15) (AMPC).

"The old [former] rule [commandment; regulation] is now set aside [nullified; abolished], because it was weak and useless [ineffective]." (Hebrews 7:18) (EXB).

9 “Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.” (Hebrews 9:9-10).

16 “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.” (Hebrews 9:16-17).

”And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament…” (Hebrews 9:15).

27 “And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:27-28).

50 “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; “ (Matthew 27:20-51).

8 “Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.” (Hebrews 10:8-9).

“And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.” (Acts of the Apostles 15:1).

“But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” (Acts of the Apostles 15:5).

“Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment” (Acts of the Apostles 15:24).

28 "For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well." (Acts of the Apostles 15:28-29).

7 "But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious." (2 Corinthians 3:7-11).

“But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 3:14).

The Old Covenant says this about circumcision:

"And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant." (Genesis 17:14).

Yet, the New Covenant says this about circumcision:

"Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing." (Galatians 5:2).

The Old Covenant says this about the Sabbath:

32 "And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
35 And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses." (Numbers 15:32-36).

Yet, the New Covenant says this about the Sabbath:

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:" (Colossians 2:16).

So it appears things have changed.

This makes sense because Hebrews 7:12 says the Law has changed.

"For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law." (Hebrews 7:12).

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17).

In conclusion:

You sort of have to look at the Old Covenant (Old Testament) as one contract, and the New Covenant (New Testament) as another contract. It's kind of like a contract when you buy a house. If you did not like certain things in the contract, you could ask them to make some changes in the contract. If they agreed to the changes, you would then go by the new contract, and the old contract for the house would be discarded. There may be some similar things between the old contract, and the new contract, but you stick with the new contract in your dealing with buying the house. Meaning: This is why we seek to follow the New Covenant (New Testament) primarily even though there are certain laws that have carried over from the Old Covenant (Old Testament). We are clearly not under the 613 Laws of Moses as a whole or package deal. We follow the commands that come from Jesus and His followers.

Jesus practiced obedience to the Mosaic Law, so the position that John 14:15 is referring to something other than the Mosaic Law is the position that Jesus was a hypocrite who preached something other than what he practiced and that he is not our savior because he sinned in violation of
Deuteronomy 4:2, which forbids making changes to the Mosaic Law.
God temporarily added the Mosaic Covenant to the Abrahamic Covenant (Galatians 3:19; Romans 5:20), and God can subtract the Mosaic Covenant from the Abrahamic Covenant.
God is sovereign, so we are under all of His laws.
Not according to God's New Covenant revelation that those laws and regulations have been abolished on the cross (Ephesians 2:15).

On what authority does one override God's NT revelation?

The blind have taught the blind well to carry on a tradition of a movement that wished to set up it's own kingdoms in earth and rule over mankind. The Gospel of the Kingdom would have exposed them for what they were/are so another gospel was chosen which allowed them to have it both ways and this is the one their rule book insists we follow to this day.

Yes, in other words accept that we are useless when it comes to knowing and doing what is best because self interest too often plays a part. We need to repent of it thus changing our thinking and turning over the decision making to the will of God, for soon He will return to rule this world and those unwilling to give up control will suddenly find themselves cancelled from the new culture

It does not presume anything, based on the concept of the old and new testament, the entire basis for entrance into Heaven is receiving The Holy Spirit. Therefore, all commands are evaluated to be obeying Jesus as a basis for Entrance into Heaven. What reason did you state this?
Not in the New Covenant.

We get into Heaven? Last memo I got was
the new Kingdom comes down to us from Heaven.
The Kingdom has already come down from heaven in Jesus Christ, its ruler (Luke 11:20).

The eternal Kingdom of God is here and now, not of this world (John 18:36), but spiritual--invisible and within (Luke 17:20-21) the hearts of those where he reigns and rules now.

There is no other Kingdom of God in addition to, or along side, this one eternal Kingdom of God (Daniel 2:44-45) come down from heaven.

Then explain this:
King James Bible - For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Is God then trying to have us fall under a curse? This is why I had mentioned that it seems The Bible negates the entire context of obedience so my question stands
how does anyone make it to Heaven?
The way the NT teaches that they do.

Only through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) in and trust on the person and work (blood--Romans 3:25) of Jesus Christ for the remission of one's sin and right standing with God's justice; i.e., "not guilty," demonstrated in the growth of sanctifiction/holiness though obedience in the Holy Spirit.

Romans carefully teaches us...
Firstly know that Christ nailed the LAW to the cross...Colossians 2:13-15
Then what purpose was there to the LAW?...See Romans 7:13 (So that sin might be recognized as sin and sin to become utterly sinful.)Romans 8:1-3 (The LAW was powerless
to save and God sent His Son to fulfill the requirements of the LAW for us.)There is too much more to set down in a post...I'd only be re-writing Romans. But see Romans 11:32:God bound all men over to disobedience ...by the giving of the OT LAW...so He could have mercy on them all.
You do realize then that God is The cause of sin,
Adam is the cause of sin. Read Genesis.
what about the garden of eden.Thr Bible disagrees with this in that the Bible states that God gave man the law to reveal his sin.this would be paradoxically, and difficult to understand in that if God is the cause of sin
He's not, Adam is. . .your argument fails.
by causing man to be disobedient by whatever measure,it makes for a poor argument to judge man's sin in any sense

No one can stand in His sight having achieved to eternal life on his/her own. In other words...that no one may boast before him as I Corinthians 1:28-30 and Ephesians 2:8-10.

There is now a difference between the OT LAW and Christ's (NT law). Christ's law is to live by the Spirit and not according to the flesh. We in fact uphold even OT LAW in this manner...
we do not nullify the LAW, but uphold it.
I am out of time right now but will come back to either this post or to add to any of your comments.

I will say re-read Romans if not once a few times for ALL the answers ...we are not under LAW...OT LAW which was carried out by works and the letter of the LAW kills. We are under grace and the Spirit...and the Spirit gives life.

So it is a matter of grace; not works.

The consistent message of the prophets up to and including Jesus was to repent from our sins and to return to obedience to God's law, so it would be absurd for someone to think that they are better off refusing to do that because
God will curse them if they do.
Straw man. . .

All who rely on observong the law are under a curse (Galatians 3:10).

You just said that God gave them over to disobeidience so that HE could have mercy on them.
"Gave them over" simply means did not stop them, it does not mean caused them.

Where does data go on a hard drive in storage? Whether we die a day before resurrection or thousands of years, it will be the blink of an eye. The unconscious have no sense of time and when our body dies our data has no means of expression until we are given our new form in the new Kingdom.
Not according to NT teaching.

We are not unconscious. See Luke 16:23-31, and Paul's teaching that even though to live is Christ,
for him, to die is gain, because it means being present with the Lord (Philippians 1:21-23).
There is no gain in death if it is the oblivion of unconsciousness.

This is not orthodox Christianity.
