We'd be very lucky if it was only 38 centimeters and also that mark not until 2100.

Even this one may be lacking sufficient inclusion of feedback loops:
"In 2019, a study projected that in low emission scenario, sea level will rise 30 centimeters by 2050 and 69 centimetres by 2100, relative to the level in 2000. In high emission scenario, it will be 34 cm by 2050 and 111 cm by 2100."

I have a friend who denied the actual existence of the COVID-19 virus itself until his dad caught it and almost died (and is now partially paralyzed).

Similarly, with as many climate change deniers we have, people won't believe it until they start seeing their communities and countries wash away for real.

Humans are incredibly ignorant as a species and will not collectively take action until it is far too late. The mighty dollar reigns supreme.

Well, 2050 is about 30 years away....and for example in the low emission estimate from one study (educated guessing, that might miss by plenty) it's thought perhaps a 30cm rise by 2050, about a foot roughly. That's enough to be a very serious problem for Miami (and some other cities), but not close yet to that kind of map you are posting. Of course, the model guessing at 30 cm by 2050 if lowered emissions could easily underestimate by missing some important feedback loop. Even just the way the Earth reacts to warming so far has a lot of unexpected stuff we've been gradually seeing in new studies.

Current sea level rise is about 2-3 inches per decade. In as much as I live about 15 ft above sea level, I am safe.

In 2004 Hurricane Charlie cut Captiva Island, FL in half. They built a bridge to span the newly created channel.
NASA - NASA Sees Hurricane Charley Slice a Florida Island

Storm surges from tropical storms eroded away Florida beaches. Taxpayers paid for new sand to be brought to renourish/restore beaches after the storm.

The real threat comes from melting continental glaciers. Greenland is losing icecap at an accelerating pace. And unlike sea ice, continental ice caps do raise ocean levels when they melt.

The collapse of Antarctic ice shelves is also a concern, partly balanced by the increase in snowfall over other parts of Antarctica, caused by the warming climate (warmer seas mean more water vapor over Antarctica).

Coastal property in Florida might not be a great long-term investment over the next few decades.

There is a certain type person, anti-Vaccine, anti-Global warming, anti-everything who will deny something right till the moment what there denying kills them, or someone they care about
Or some that will even continue to deny it's Covid killing them as they are growing more gravely and fatally ill, even, we hear from nurses.

Permafrost could be a added issue, releasing carbon and methane also mercury

Yeah, that's the joker in the deck. Methane is a much more effective greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. We don't really have a good model for that possibility.

I remember years ago wondering just how will climate change cause that much sea level rise, even if all ice melted on the earth permanitly there wouldn't be that much change in sea level. But then someone pointed out one of the most basic facts of physics. What happens to water when you warm it? It rises, all that ocean warming up will expand. That is where most of the sea level rising comes from. I've been watching over the last decade the water rising down at the local wharf. There is a boat ramp now that at high tide is completely flooded. Wish I could have seen just how high it used to get.

Most of the observed rise in oceans is due to that cause. Thermal expansion has been the major contributor so far. Melting sea ice will make no difference at all. But the melting of continental glaciers will make a difference. And that's what we need to be concerned about in the very near future:

Many large glaciers in Greenland are at greater risk of melting from below than previously thought, according to new maps of the seafloor around Greenland created by an international research team. Like other recent research findings, the maps highlight the critical importance of studying the seascape under Greenland's coastal waters to better understand and predict global sea level rise.

We live in a sin cursed Earth that is destined to go down hill no matter how much men are under the illusion they can turn it around!
Isaiah 51:6 "Look up to the skies above, and gaze down on the earth below. For the skies will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing. The people of the earth will die like flies, but my salvation lasts forever. My righteous rule will never end!"

Catastrophic Global Warming? Absolutely!
Revelation 16:8-9 "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory."

Mankind will only be saved from extinction by God's intervention!
Matthew 24:21-22 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

God made us stewards of the Earth, and yes, what we do, does affect it. Would you like to learn how we know it's going on now?

There have been so many failed global warming predictions that failed

The most notable and remarkable prediction was by NASA's scientists, predicting the degree of global warming decades in advance, based on nothing but the rise in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Even in the 1970s, most climatologists were aware that the Earth was going to be warming up.

Granted, there were non-scientists all over the map. Some were even claiming the Earth would be cooling off. Other non-scientists were claiming the Arctic Ocean would be ice-free by 2000. But if you go with the actual theory, as formulated by real climatologists, it's been remarkably good.

Notice that real climate scientists were a lot better than television news reporters at predicting global warming.

Global warming and cooling cycles are a natural cycle that has been ongoing for at least 160,000 years, driven by sun cycles, and has nothing to do with our CO2 output whatsoever.

There have been at least 24 such warming and cooling cycles in the Eemian period.

Things they don’t want us to know: CO2 levels were at one time ten times higher than now, with zero catastrophic flooding from rising sea levels and with no CO2 emissions from the industrial revolution; during the Medieval Warm Period, the earth’s temperature was considerably warmer than now, still with no catastrophic flooding, and also with no CO2 input from the industrial revolution; the correlation between CO2 levels and earth temperature first publicized by Al Gore in his movie, indeed exists - but it’s backwards - the data shows that first the temperature rises, then CO2 levels increase, which completely falsifies claims of anthropogenic global warming being driven by levels of CO2. Its temperature increase and decrease by sun cycles of solar minimums and maximums that affect CO2 levels, instead of Vice versa; CO2 is a minuscule 4% of the greenhouse effect - water vapor in the form of clouds is 85% - and of the amount of it that is present naturally in the atmosphere, our output of it is minuscule. CO2 levels can’t, and do not, have a major effect of any kind on the temperature of the earth.
Climate change is real, and has nothing whatsoever to do with our CO2 emissions, but is an ongoing natural sun-driven cycle, which explains why Mars has polar ice melting concurrent with earth polar ice melting.
Global warming alarm is crooked politician driven fear mongering started by the politician Al Gore and is pushed by corrupt government leaders worldwide, as a means of increasing government control of economies and to put in place hundreds of billions of dollars in carbon taxes that enriches them through skimming off those tax dollars.
There are many climatologists and scientists that are countering the propaganda, fear mongering, and manipulation of data from the climate change scam.

Right. For example, we're in a solar minimum right now. If natural cycles were the major forcing, it would be getting colder with more stable weather. Instead, we're seeing record high global temperatures and increasing atmospheric instabilities.

CO2 completely derailed the natural cooling that would ordinarily come with lower solar output.

but it’s backwards - the data shows that first the temperature rises, then CO2 levels increase, which completely falsifies claims of anthropogenic global warming being driven by levels of CO2.

That's a testable assumption. Let's take a look...

iu

No, turns out, you're wrong. CO2 began to rise before global temperatures.

CO2 is a minuscule 4% of the greenhouse effect

Which is like saying if you fill a class almost to the rim, and then add a few ounces more, it won't overfill the glass. But that's not the only fallacy in that argument. You see, carbon dioxide traps heat at wavelengths that other greenhouse gases do not. So it has a disproportionate effect on temperatures.
iu

Climate change is real, and has nothing whatsoever to do with our CO2 emissions, but is an ongoing natural sun-driven cycle, which explains why Mars has polar ice melting concurrent with earth polar ice melting.

No, that's a faulty assumption, too. As you know, Hanson's prediction of warming, based only on increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide, were surprisingly accurate, decades ahead of the trend. See #18.

There are many climatologists and scientists that are countering the propaganda, fear mongering, and manipulation of data from the climate change scam.

That's actually a testable assumption,too...

The range of opinions and the many factors affecting belief in anthropogenic climate change cannot be covered here. The variety of opinion can be illustrated by one graph from the 2013 repeat of the Bray and von Storch survey showing the degree of belief that recent or future climate change is due to or will be caused by human activity. A value of 1 indicates not convinced and a value of 7 is very much convinced. The top three values add to 81%, roughly in the range of several other surveys.
upload_2021-8-24_13-40-21.png

Even though belief is clearly below 97%, support over 80% is strong consensus. Would a lower level of consensus convince anyone concerned about anthropogenic global warming to abandon their views and advocate unrestricted burning of fossil fuels? I think not. Even the 2016 Cook paper says “From a broader perspective, it doesn’t matter if the consensus number is 90% or 100%.”
Fact Checking The Claim Of 97% Consensus On Anthropogenic Climate Change
