We were not accepted for the apartment I applied for a couple of weeks ago. I’m trying to apply for another, but the hang up is no income history. I guess nowadays a SAHM, military spouse, and mother of a special needs child, is a bad thing, even though I was the the one paying all the bills and budgeting and saving, and I have always had excellent credit.

In any case, we will be moving into a hotel on Monday and will be in that one until August 1, then switch to another one until August 16. Sure hope I secure a job somewhere at that time. Only problem is I have no address to put if I apply, which really looks bad and doesn’t help me get a job. A lose/lose situation. Ugh

I don't know. My friend suggested using a friend's address. I just have to get up the nerve to ask one of my friends from church. ugh Thank you for your idea.

If you need employment in a snap, and there is a Walmart near by, try them. They are often very forgiving about no work history, have a variety of jobs, and pay well, and can give you at least some temporary employment until something else comes along. Call HR after applying and discuss your situation. They may be able to help you, and get you onboard.

I've used a friend's address before to cover being deployed and am now renting a room from another friend here in Maryland. Ask your friend, but make sure it is someone you can trust. If not, than ask if you can use the church!

I asked one of my good friends a couple of days ago, and she was happy to help. Thank God for all my friends and family.
