Do you have any thoughts or questions about this yourself maybe?

What are some of the ways a Christian should live by looking at your own perceptove perception?

Do you have to work?
Do you have to maintain life balance of family life, and others?
Do you believe you should be creative?
Do you be there is times of needed rest away from the pressures of life?

Leave a comment, on what your thoughts are.

Philippians 2:1 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

a) I no longer have to work -- I'm retired.
b) No. I spend 99% of my time with my wife of 52 years.
c) I don't have to be creative, beyond solving everyday problems.
d) Yes, times are needed for rest away from the pressures of life.

Dang long time away from me to retire pescador. It’s nice you spend time with you wife, with 52 year marriage. You’re right about resting from the pressures of life. What does your name mean? It sounds like the name for a big bird or something.

I don't have an answer that applies to everyone. Nor would I impose my principles on others. I share what works and allow them to glean as desired. That's my approach. :)

In response to your questions...

Do you have to work?
I work from home and it's very fulfilling. I'm fortunate to earn a living in the area of my calling. I want my descendants to have the same and be able to pursue their purpose unencumbered. My daughter and I are working to achieve that aim.

Do you have to maintain life balance of family life, and others?
I believe in a healthy work/life balance. That includes time alone, with loved ones, and the Lord. I've established boundaries to achieve it and maintain a sensible schedule that I review and alter seasonally.

Do you believe you should be creative?
I am creative. Most of the things I do fall on that end. I make time for artistic pursuits, education, and spaces in the day. The mind needs periods of rest and nothingness. It enables to Lord to impart holy downloads.

Do you believe there is times of needed rest away from the pressures of life?
I don't have much pressure in my life. I nourish my body with healthy food, sleep, and minimal stress. I'm practical about the things I take on and don't over commit myself. I know my limitations and honor them. We practice slow living and adhere to a different philosophy on cadence and involvement. That minimizes pressure because we're not living according to someone's standard. I don't need a getaway per se. I have a daily escape. It keeps calm and centered.

"pescador" means fisherman in Spanish.

I have spent my time working, raising a family, pursuing hobbies (the last was making custom fly rods -- more than a hobby). Now I am simply enjoying a modest life while waiting to be with the Lord.

Bella that seems like very good balance and having a good structured life. Where you always that way growing up?

Pescador, that is goo you spent your time doing those things, would you say you learned a lot? Was making fishing rods something maybe you and your father use to do together when you where younger? There was a man met one time he showed me he made leather gun holsters which was pretty neat. I have no trade skill or anything but have thought about painting.

My mother was the one who was a craftsperson and devoted fisherwoman. My father was unkind, which is why she divorced him.

I learned a lot from making rods, but one perpetually learns when practicing a craft.

More than one person has said this and Christ has said it, love the lord and love your neighbor and buy loving your neighbor you are showing love to god, google the good samaritan if you want to know who you neighbor is. You can not break any of gods laws if you follow those two laws, and since were human and will screw up repent of your sins and ask forgiveness.
