This hurts so much. I've read some of your previous threads regarding your suffering wife that you love so much, and now your daughter is all of a sudden gone. I'm going through a very hard time as well, and I was close to just losing it altogether it today, but in that moment I just reminded myself that there are others out there that go through worse. I can't verbalize how pervasive and deep my depression is, and it's due to something that is not nearly as bad as what you're going through.

I never thought I would ever experience how empty life can feel like. I can't even remember the last time I was happy. What even is that, at this point? There's literally nothing in this life that can remove or even alleviate my brokenness. What tremendous sorrow, I can't sleep it away. I can't exercise it away. I can't talk it away. I can't focus it away, it's always there. Never ever would I believe that one day I would reach a state of craving, desiring, longing for death, just to leave this body and transition onto the next life.

Having said that, God did about a year ago give me a dream showing me that life would, at one point, get better, but not before I sank to the bottom. For a while I kept asking the "Why?"-questions, even though God made it clear to me that a difficult period was ahead, before He would intervene and change my circumstances. The only explanation I got was in what I believe was in a a vision one morning, and in a text I saw: "One sinks to the bottom first, before exaltation and understanding - I (God), love you".

I wish I could share more with you brother, but we won't know everything while we're here. Cling to God my brother. Without Him we are lost. I literally have nowhere else to go in my life, and I refuse to believe that my faith is all one big lie after all I've gone through and given up.
