.....for all those ramblings, it's amazing those same leaders agreed to anything....or are the G7 agreements "out of scope" for this thread as well?

Do you have any reason to believe those decisions were not only already made, but the agenda already planned and set, prior to the summit?

Most of the legwork was certainly done prior to the G7 meeting (as is the case with any such meeting). None-the-less, they are accomplishments....or maybe not in your nationalist world? [which begs the question, why do you care if G7 leaders are laughing at Biden?]

Do you want a globalist economy over a nationalist one?

And all of a sudden the opinions of others matter again.

It's enjoying knowing that in a world filled with tyranny and void of true liberty, we can still take pride in being that example to others. With the death of liberty, that light will no longer shine.

Personally, i'm disappointed that the current President doesn't appear mentally sharp, but he's still an improvement over our last President.

While i agree that those who supported Trump and ignored these criticisms when he was President don't have a leg to stand on, it also shouldn't be defended as acceptable.

I'll take cognitive decline over rampant dishonesty any day of the week, but realistically, i'd prefer our President have neither of those characteristics.

No idea why you’re quoting me here.

.......and yet:

".... a new Pew Research Center survey of 16 publics finds a significant uptick in ratings for the U.S., with strong support for Biden and several of his major policy initiatives.

In each of the 16 publics surveyed, more than six-in-ten say they have confidence in Biden to do the right thing in world affairs. Looking at 12 nations surveyed both this year and in 2020, a median of 75% express confidence in Biden, compared with 17% for Trump last year."

Replace an America first President with a President that doesn't put his own country ahead of other countries and you should expect people from those other countries to approve of that new President more. They might well laugh at that President as well.

It is hardly amazing that leaders of like mind agree on things. What is amazing to me is that they agree on such idiotic things.

They care because apparently “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” is what’s driving the right wing at the moment. Anything they think they can use to try and discredit the current administration is acceptable if they feel it’ll advance their politics.

Members/posters nor Trump are in no way the topic of this thread. Please stay on topic.

The topic is foreign leaders allegedly laughing at the president.

The opinion is that this is embarrassing, but in order to help gauge the sincerity of that opinion, we'd have to see them laughing at a different president to see if it garnered the same reaction.

It did not.

because the context is completely different. One is Trump's arguably arrogant comment, the other is at the cognitive confusion of our current President.

Your opinion is not a fact.

The evidence is overwhelmingly affirming, of which said opinions are then formed. I courage everyone to have open eyes and ears, they will deceive you far less than our news media will.
