Advocates of the Senate filibuster can be proud of one thing. They have successfully carried out an extraordinarily effective propaganda campaign. They have convinced much of the country — and, more importantly, many members of the Senate itself — to believe in a completely made-up version of American history.

Democrats used the filibuster over 300 times last year. Then they get in power, and suddenly want to get rid of it because it's "racist". The level of hypocrisy is stunning.

McConnell got rid of the filibuster for Federalist Court judges....oops, is that a mistake? There are just so any of them.

He withheld appointments for two years, and then if he didn't technically "pack" the Court, he stacked, swamped, manipulated, controlled, maneuvered, cheated, etc. The Federalist Court. Oops, I made that mistake again? Well, it's understandable.
