Generally speaking (no pun intended) this is a death knell for the military.
Isn’t that the point of subversion? To destroy your enemy from within?

The 1619 project is a little more than that as pointed out in this article: The Real Goals of "The 1619 Project"I looked up “1619 project.” The 1619 project seems to be an attempt to glorify black contributions to society. I suppose it is similar to Irish Americans making a big deal out of St. Patrick’s Day. I know the Italian Americans in the North End of Boston may like Columbus Day. Columbus was Italian. They have a huge festival for St. Anthony’s Day. St Anthony was Italian. Italians invented lasagna and pizza. There is a long list of contributions made by England.
My dad was a military officer. At supper he used to tell us about people in the military are not allowed to be political. After he retired he went to work for a defense contractor. They raised funds for candidates of both parties in an attempt to gain favor. Typically they favored Republicans.
By explicitly pointing out divisive attitudes and activities are inconducive to military cohesion. It's nothing new. The military was doing it back in the 70s.
My training instructor, Sergeant Jimmy Weeks, started us off on our first day in basic training:
"One thing we ain't gonna have in this flight is racial problems. The reason we ain't gonna have racial problems is because you ain't got no reason to have racial problems.
You're all the same color...namely green. You all got the same hair...namely none. You all got the same daddy...namely me. And you all got the same wants and desires...namely to get the @#$@& out of here!"

IOW, "There is no racial bigotry here. I do not look down on <string of slurs>. Here you are all equally worthless."
But isn't the military structured around defined classes i.e. enlisted, NCO, SNCO and the various grades of officers? It seems ot me that it actually encourages class consciousness, though not class struggle. No, not those words at all.
Where Marxism exaggerates "class consciousness," the military mitigates it.

I recently spoke with a Marine of that vintage who said that he was given a variation of that speech in basic, slurs included, so it does pre date the Gunnery Sargent Hartman character.IOW, "There is no racial bigotry here. Buuuut, isn’t the military in our fair land largely a Marxist system? No, not those words at all.

Possibly another reason this officer was removed was because this organization that he spoke at, first sponsored Trump. It is very pro-Republican which nowadays means anti-constitution driven.Military commander removed after denouncing neo-Marxist critical race theory
A commander in the United States Space Force was apparently relieved from his post after appearing on a podcast to promote his book, which asserts a neo-Marxist agenda is transforming military culture and policy. Citing a diversity initiative in which the U.S. is referred to as a “white supremacist nation,” Lohmeier told the Information Operation podcast that the young service members are inundated by a “hyperpoliticized work environment where diversity and inclusion initiatives are being pushed constantly.”
Lohmeier added that conservatives in the military who are willing to voice their opinions are painted as “extremists.”“What you see happening in the U.S. military at the moment is that if you're a conservative, then you're lumped into a group of people who are labeled extremists, if you're willing to voice your views. And if you're aligned with the Left, then it's OK to be an activist online because no one's gonna hold you accountable," he said.
Space Force officer relieved of post after denouncing Marxist ideology and critical race theory in military: Report
This is an accurate description of the those who attempted to overthrow the Government on Jan. 6th.The 1619 project is a little more than that as pointed out in this article: The Real Goals of "The 1619 Project"
Its lead essay, written by activist Nicole Hannah-Jones, falsifies important parts of American history with a view to engineering this new approach. While it has been roundly debunked by a chorus of renowned academics for gross factual and thematic inaccuracies, its most outlandish claim is that the American Revolution was fought to protect slavery.
The overriding lesson is clear: young people must learn to despise their nation—its Constitution, ideals, economic system, and its Founders. They must resent and reject their past; possess an aggressive, contemptuous, and disobedient attitude toward the present; and strive forcefully to create a triumphant future where the enemies of old are punished, and the innocent finally rule. Teaching young people that they have no country, that there is neither God nor justice, but only their own anger to right wrongs leads not to civilized self-rule, but to fanaticism and self-destruction.
The influence of the endangered species that is US communists is insufficient to sway enough peoples opinions to matter. It also looks like the Communists have us rooting for either 'Stop the Steal' or 'Black Lives Matter'.

now where is the evidence to justify that statement? Conservatives are certainly far from anti-constitutionwhich nowadays means anti-constitution driven.
How exactly is that an accurate description of those who attempted to overthrow the Government, there was a demonstration not an attempt to overthrow the government, stick with the facts. This is an accurate description of the those who attempted to overthrow the Government on Jan. 6th.

Not to mention article VI clause 3.Conservatives rhetoric pays pretty solid lip-service to the constitution, but in practice, conservatives are just as guilty as anybody of cherry-picking the parts of the constitution they choose to enforce. They talk pretty good games about amendments 2, 9, 10, and parts of 1, but have zero trouble ignoring or fighting to work around amendments 4, 6, 7, 8, 14 (section 1), 15, 16, and 24.
The 1619 Project was a mixed bag that raised some worthwhile issues while taking liberties with (or just getting wrong) some underlying facts. It's unfortunate because it was a good project that didn't need those stretches in order to make the bulk of its case, and those errors gave ammo to people who would deny any of their points.
OTOH, it's been my experience that many of the folks who complain loudly about the 1619 Project are the same ones who'd promote the latest offerings from Dinesh D'souza, Trump's myriad lies, or his administration's "1776 Report."
