Here's the letter:

https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/fb7c7bd8-097d-4e2f-8f12-3442d151b57d/downloads/2021 Open Letter from Retired Generals and Adm.pdf?ver=1620740665549

It starts so well:

"Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no othertime since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty."
Everyone I don't like is a Communist/Marxist/Socialist! Someone please tell these people about the US in the 1920s and 1930s. Or the 1960s and 1970s...

"Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the “will of the people” our Constitutional Republic is lost. Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted percitizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs,verified signatures, etc. Today, many are calling such commonsense controls “racist” in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic."

Hey, it's Trump's Big Lie. Let's double down on the crazy! What could make it worse - oh yes, lets throw in that anyone that posits a racial agenda in the imposition of voting restrictions is engaged in tyrannical intimidation.

"the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations."
Boo hoo. The other guy won, and now he's using executive orders to reverse what our guy did. Oh and its 44 executive orders at present. Also, let's not mention that most of the EOs are reversing EOs from Trump. Or that Trump has passed 40 EOs at the some point in his presidency.

Here's where they "question" his mental fitness:

"The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night. Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command."

Let's ignore that they didn't actually question his mental and physical condition. Let's focus on the statement about "Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures". The was Nancy Pelosi, who questioned the Joint Chiefs about nuclear code procedures in January 2021.

That's right, she was worried about a certain "unhinged" president, but it wasn't Joe Biden.

This is one of several gems in the letter questioning the election process.

"The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020," the letter added.

It also seems that Trump questioning Bidens mental fitness is all teh evidence they need to decide Biden is unfit.

The American people fett rather differently.

It is scary to think that there are high ranking military officers who are either so partisan or so stupid.

This isn't about Trump so why bring him up? What does Trump have to do with this issue? He is not President. See you guys cannot even discuss the state of politics without bringing up Trump when no one said a word about him! No one is knocking Biden. Hes probably a great guy- just not what the free world needs as a leader right now. Did you serve as a general in the military? It is kind of hard to ignore the position of 124 of these military leaders, who deserve a lot more respect than you are showing, in their stance on what they are seeing first hand in such a way that they all signed their names to this letter.

This man speaks for the World? I don't think so.

But it has to be said, the USA has an awful lot of retired generals and admirals. Does anybody know if their cognitive function is at all impaired? They are entitled to their view of course, but what is it about them that elevates their opinion above the nation as a whole? They do, after all, maintain that 'without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the “will of the people” our Constitutional Republic is lost'.

That is what America has just had, so that's all right!

This is the second time this uncomfortable truth about Trump was left out of the OP with that article. It's obvious this uncomfortable fact about Trump doesn't fit the OP's apparent attempt to bash Biden.

You didn't list the main point of the letter.

The main point is that these retired officers have attached their names to a bunch of idiotic propaganda. There are plenty of legitimate criticisms to be made about Biden and the Democrats, but a lot of folks on the right (including these officers, it seems) keep latching onto stuff that's stupid and demonstrably untrue. Anybody who claims that, "stopping the Keystone Pipeline eliminates our recently established energy independence and causes us to be energy dependent on nations not friendly to us" is so grossly ignorant and blinded by partisanship that their opinion isn't worth the paper on which it's printed. They're not trustworthy; they don't deserve to have their opinion taken seriously. They're fools whom we'd do well to ignore.

The rest of the world thought Trump was a joke. Were you concerned with foreign opinions of POTUS then or are you only concerned now that they're being aired by a Murdoch-owned right-wing opinion show?

The inquiry was about Trump. It was raised while he was still in office

Not to mention that they don't have any more information about the president's health than the rest of us.

The organization to which these generals belong is extremely ideologically conservative. The tenor of the letter indicates that these generals would write a letter of concern about any national leader who was to the left of Rand Paul. Or then again, they may be hawks in the style of Tom Cotton or Mike Pompeo.

"It also adds, "We must support and hold accountable politicians who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing....."

Gen Michael Hayden, a former CIA and NSA director tweeted, "Truly unbelievable! I know a few. It’s sad." Another user claimed, "That over the top letter signed by all those retired generals and admirals -including two former bosses of mine - was shocking and disappointing. But not at all surprising."

I am glad that these 124 generals who hold values that I believe are antithetical to functioning democracy are not in power today.

Former military officers question Biden's mental health and results of 2020 elections in disturbing letter

No, that is not how the world sees us. That is Sky News Australia which is a somewhere between National Enquirer and InfoWars and way to the right of Fox News. Try reading what other international news services write or report.

Hint: most of the world despise trump.
