Hello, I’m very new to this account & site. I’m currently addicted to opioids and have been scared to face the end of them. Withdrawal. This detox feels to be the highest mountain I have to climb, I know it is temporary, but scary. All I ask is for prayers to carry me through. I got this idea reading about a woman in my same situation, she had reached to a friend who then reached out to her Christian groups. What the woman described as a “hug” carrying her through, was the prayers of others for her healing. I’m asking the same... from all Christians and children of God reading this. Please pray for me. Please pray for this addiction to break. Please pray for my comfort and healing, my recovery. Oh I know God is with me, I call out to Him and I know He hears. This pain is like standing in a fire, just waiting. Please pray for me to carry through. That’s all I ask, thank you all. God bless.

There is this place called Teen Challenge that could give you some added help and support if you need that. There are teen and adult centers all over the world, for both women/men. And it is faith based. Bless you sister. Great step to take.

I’m sorry for whatever you’ve been through that made you want to turn to drugs. I am proud of you that you’re fighting them and seeking help to be free.

I pray for your healing in general emotionally and mentally, and in particular that you will be freed from any drug habit for life. I pray you will be led to help in ways to keep you from suffering too much during detox.

I wonder if you might find some helpful information online. No doubt there are drug withdrawal support groups. Perhaps some of them could give you some tips on how to make the detox easier. I wonder, for example, if there are some supplements that could help you.

I pray for holy angels to surround you and help you in every way.

I have found binders to give great relief while detoxing. Instead of pulling more toxins into your blood for elimination they bind to the toxins already in your system to keep them out of your blood stream and help elimination of them which gives relief. I recommend the Biocidin ones.

If it gets really bad and your drinking a lot of water stop drinking so much water. Drinking a lot of liquid while your detoxing puts the detox in overdrive. You want to keep steady fluids in most detoxes I am familiar with but not do to much.

Also for more constant prayer every few hours you could text the His radio prayer line:

HIS Radio Prayer Line - Available 24hrs a Day | HIS Radio
https://www.hisradio.com › prayer › need-prayer

Prayer Requests · Submit a Prayer Request · Our Prayer line is available 24 hours a day · Call: 866-987-7729 or Text: 866-987-7729 · Our Prayer line is available 24 ...

I recommend you go slow. Try to titrate down instead of going cold turkey. Especially if your body is weak or overly stressed. Detoxing is no joke. God will be with you whatever you do but it is always best to take the wisest path over the "quick fix" path. The quick fix path usually makes more problems then its worth.

"I am not a doctor and none of this is medical advice. Consult your qualified medical physicians before doing anything I tell you to do and all that jazz.. :p"

Hope it helps
