Popcorn! It's what's for supper.

Part of my Sabbath day routine is to restrict my diet during the day (resting my guts) and having a "popcorn supper" that evening. Popcorn is a nutritious, low calorie, whole grain food with lots of fiber. I like it lightly salted and buttered with a big glass of cold milk. It is also very inexpensive, a large bowl costing about 20 cents (butter is extra of course). Interestingly it costs about the same as a bowl of bean soup; also very nutritious and inexpensive. Try it out. You can enjoy it more now that you know it's not just for snacking, and it can greatly reduce your food bill.

Edit: I love a big juicy navel orange for dessert.

I make myself a my chocolate smoothie, but my husband does popcorn as well.

I love popcorn with butter but my liver and pancreas don't like butter or popcorn. I decided to make my own concoction with flavors and
Pam. In no time I had gained 5 pounds, lol. I keep going back to grated parmesan as cheese flavor is my favorite. It is far more healthy to make your own then the microwave popcorn.
