Researching 'alien abductions' there are some interesting stats.

The overwhelming majority of abductees have had some prior involvement in the occult, they can be abducted against their will. A born again Christian cannot be abducted against their will, the 'alien' entity must ask permission first and it must be given before a Christian can be abducted. (Reminded me of James 4:7)

Leads me to believe this is not an issue of extra terrestrial life, it is something demonic.

God Bless All :)

They are not aliens. There are no traces of alien civilizations anywhere. You cannot develop super technology without having industry, satellites, radio signals etc. Its all dead around us and suddenly aircrafts of aliens all around us? Hardly.

So far, there is nothing about these "objects" that is not imaginable for our human technology to achieve. Being fast etc. is nothing so hardcore that it has to be from aliens.

I disagree as we really dont know what is out there and how far away.

I suppose that's right. With entertainment like Star Trek so many, many different versions of the show it amazes me they wouldn't have concluded there's way too many where it's too much of an overplay.

And think of all the subtle and not so subtle occult content and imagery in programmes such as star trek that has been desensitizing people, even churchgoers, to the occult for decades. God Bless :)

Well documented in the field, e.g author Mark Eastman in 'Alien Encounters' documents only one case where the abductee wasn't heavily involved in the occult, a Christian whose permission was sought before being abducted. God Bless :)

Actually, we do. We know pretty well what is on the planets in our solar system and we know pretty well there are no suspicious data or signals from the nearest stars.

The opposite is true, everything around us is silent and empty - the Fermi paradox.

Just like those that believe the earth was made in 6 'earth' days

The seven days of creation are the basis for our seven day week:

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day.

Is your usual week seven 'earth' days or something else? I'm curious. :)

This person seems to be deeply religious, so there is a question if he is not influenced by this to prefer the data that support his worldview.

On a Christian forum you might run into several people who are deeply religious. As for worldviews, I am sure this is not a phenomenon limited to Christians. God Bless :)

When a deeply religious person interprets data by occultism, demons etc, there is a high probability it is not so.

Do you have some more neutral source saying that the vast majority of abductees were involved in occultism and that Christians must give some kind of persmissions, first? Who collected and examined these data?

Tucker reacts to video of UFO confirmed by Pentagon - YouTube

(Just released the other day)

Folks look there was a time when this type of thing would cause smirks and laughter. Are things though getting a lot more serious now? I got my own world view on just what might be occurring but what about you? Serious stuff or just more things to laugh off?
They'll probably just confirm what we all already know: governments are encountering flying objects that they can't identify.

This isn't news and it doesn't prove these flying objects are extraterrestrial - only that they don't know what they are.

I myself have seem something pretty weird in the sky.

I don't think the US government really has access to alien technology, but I do think they would like the world to think they do.

Bob Lazar, however, seems pretty believable. I think he was exposed to something for sure - but I'm not sure it was, indeed, all that he thought / thinks it was. At any rate, I doubt the "big reveal" is going to reveal all that Lazar was exposed to.

As to alien abductions, some of the other theories available seem more plausible to me.

Having said all this, if intelligent aliens exist, my theology is prepared for it :). At least I think so!

Can you define what would be acceptable as a 'neutral' source?

TR-3B Astra is what most people identify as UFO, probably:
TR-3B Anti-Gravity Spacecrafts

Or a similar secret project.

F-117 is here from 1980', and was identified as UFO by many people back then, so imagine what experimental planes are out there now, 40 years later.

Also, its no surprise that military says "we do not know what it is". Thats a common cover. They lie every time when it is not made public, yet. All people chasing aliens or demons are playing their game.

I agree but I think we are half way there now.

I've talked about in other threads about the relationship between UFOs and the Occult. Basically that the people who see them, aliens etc. often have some kind of past history with the occult. And besides that I think there are some other kinds of parallels quite a few people see "cryptid" creatures like Bigfoot etc. but the encounter is less like seeing an exotic rare animal and much more like seeing something demonic. Probably the best example of this are "Dogman" sightings where people see werewolf like creatures, which has become a "thing" as I mentioned in a thread I posted a month or two back.

When Sane and Honest People See Werewolves...

Anyway I find some of these stories interesting. There are a lot of fakes of course because lots of people are practical jokers. But beyond that, it does look to me that a certain portion of the populace in some way is being Demonized, harrassed etc. Lots of demonic over tones to the various encounters and people seem to suffer from PTSD. And sometimes these are with Christians, which I tend to pay attention to. Like prayer often ends the encounter, drives the thing away, or keeps the thing from returning.

In terms of UFO's I think many people would find the claim by beings that obviously appear to be aliens, and can work wonders allegedly through super technology a big torpedo to their faith. But yes, I think things would have to go down hill from here for that to happen, because I think they would not be able to resist Christians who assume they are demons/fallen angels/ Nephilim and actively pray against them from the start!
Interesting. If you would like to hear my take on it, just do a conversation with me. I am a retired mechanical engineer and I had my top secret clearance with the DOD before retiring. I don’t want to imply that I have any secret info that might unveil some conspiracy. I’m just talking about Occam’s Razor logic.

Perhaps God created life elsewhere that didn’t sin. They may live forever like they are. Have you ever had a Spiritual dream? They are very unique and I don’t think you will ever forget them. I’ve had a number of them and one involved perhaps the alien question. I think I had this dream possibly before the typical alien gray picture had been seen by many. I saw in my dream what media has promoted as a gray alien. I knew that it was evil and I ripped off its face and it was black with great evil. The Word in Philippians 2:10-11 Speaks of every knee bowing to the name of Christ including things under the earth. Who are those under the earth?

Phil.2 Verses 10 to 11

  1. [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Again, I think it just begs too many questions and could certainly lead someone astray; to doubt God as they start to look into man's understanding of this World instead of relying on what God plainly states about His creation in the Word He's preserved for us. I think God's Word is perfect, and He's all knowing, so who am I to go against what He says?

No, I've never had a spiritual dream. I would like to, but am not praying for it or anything lol. Your dream sounds pretty crazy. I have had an encounter before I was a Christian with a psychic medium who talked with spirit guides. All of her practices were entirely new age, which I had no awareness of at the time. There was a lot of crazy things that happened in this encounter which made me realize this world isn't just physical like I thought it to be. She claimed to be talking to my deceased brother, my grandpa and mentioned some dogs I had in the past whose "spirits" were also present. When God revealed the truth to me, I knew they were nothing but demonic entities masquerading as my loved one's in order to deceive me. I was already deceived as an atheist, but satan's work is never done I suppose.

I've also witnessed demons coming out of people, and only by the power of Jesus name did they come out. It was almost exactly like many of the accounts in the Bible. Many of these people had no symptoms of being possessed, just like Mary Magdalene. But when you laid hands on them and began casting them out, they come out screaming and hissing, even laughing, crying, screaming I hate you. It's like seeing the Bible come to life and doing just what Jesus and the apostles did. What Jesus said we have the power to do in His name. It's amazing seeing someone so set free though.

If you look into them, there's also quite a few people with testimonies who have had alien "visitations" in their rooms. Usually they'll get sleep paralysis, which is very similar to when people have visitations of a succubus or any other type of demon visit them in the night. The amazing thing is, when they call on the name of Jesus, these "aliens" just go away. Same with any other demon. I think this strongly proves that they would be nothing but demonic entities trying to deceive people the way they do with any other thing.

The way the Bible depicts the earth, sheol or hell seems to be directly underneath the earth. I'm not going to argue about the shape of the earth as it causes too much division, even amongst believers in my opinion. But that's what I believe.
