The Sabbath day is the the seventh day of creation.

Can it only be remembered on the seventh day of the week?
You keep disregarding half of the commandment. God told us to keep the seventh day Holy. Yes, you can remember and keep holy every seventh day. It is a blessing and a delight to commune with our Savior on His special day.

The Sabbath points to creation. Creation does not point to the Sabbath.
Yes, the Sabbath points to creation as a memorial and God wrote in His eternal covenant for us to Remember and keep Holy every seventh day. It’s the only day He sanctified and blessed and asked us to REMEMBER. Exodus 20 8-11 Which is why on the new earth it continues from the beginning Genesis 2:3 until forever Isaiah 66:23

It’s more about our loyalty to God by worshiping Him on the day He choose instead of the day choose by man. When we disregard the 4th commandment we are disregarding what He commanded each of us. When we obey, we are allowing God to be God and its how we show Him our love.
Exodus 20:8. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
God bless
So you want others to be loving but you choose not to be?
The Sabbath was given exclusively to the children of Israel NOT all mankind.

Exodus 31:16
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
Leviticus 24:8
8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
Those who are not direct children of Israel can choose to observe the Sabbath
Isaiah 56:6
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Jesus is our Sabbath rest.
Matthew 11:28
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
If Jesus was speaking Hebrew, He would have said "I will give you שׁבת/sabbath."
Jesus is our Passover.

1 Corinthians 5:7
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
I can't find a verse where Jesus or any NT writer commanded non-Israelites to observe the Sabbath.
Romans 14:4-6
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Christians have the reality we no longer need the shadow.
Colossians 2:16-17
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

So, does that mean you keep the new moon festival as well? It is side by side with the Sabbath in Isaiah 66:23

I agree. It can be remembered every seventh day!

My question is can it only be remembered on that day?

Just so you know, I don’t disregard the commandment.

Can the Sabbath day of creation only be remembered and kept holy on the seventh day of the week?

Luke writes that the church in Troas was meeting on the first
day of the week for the purpose of breaking bread.

In LUKE 24, it is the first workday of the week,
after the Sabbath had passed. The Troas event or
breaking of bread is not mentioned in Luke .

Acts 2:42 NIV
The Fellowship of the Believers

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and
to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

If you continue to Acts 2:46, it shows daily they broke bread
and ate meals [meat] together, giving thanks to God.

....46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with
gladness and singleness of heart, 47 praising God,...

This breaking bread was not Communion—it was simply eating a meal
at some ones house. They would be in the temple during the day.

Do you take communion every day of the week from house to house ?

Acts 20:7 NIV
Eutychus Raised From the Dead at Troas

On the first day of the week we came together to break bread.
Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave
the next day, kept on talking until midnight.

So after the Sabbath had passed, after dark, they came together
to eat a meal. Paul was giving last minute instructions, [because]
he was to leave in the morning, a long walk on the first workday.

It does not say this was done every week, or a command to do again.
If it does, do you go to church service Saturday nights and eat ?

They continued to observe the Days of Unleavened Bread (Acts 20:6)
Do you observe the days of Unleavened Bread as they did that year ?

If you continue to Acts 20:11 , they never had time to break bread
and eat until after the incident in the upper chamber.

11 When he therefore was come up again, and had [broken bread, and eaten],
and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed."

They broke bread and ate. This breaking bread was not Communion
—it was simply eating a meal. Then on the morning of the first workday of
the week, Paul started his long walk to the next place he was headed too.
-

In Acts 27:33-35, Here Paul broke bread to give to unconverted
sailors who were hungry and had been fasting. “Paul besought them
all to take meat to eat for there health.

"Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health?
.… And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God
in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat”

Again This breaking bread was not Communion—it was simply eating a meal.

“To break bread” (klasai arton), is the literal rendering of the
Hebrew idiom (paras lechem), and it means to partake of food,
and is used ofeating as in a meal. The figure (or idiom) arose
from the fact that among the Hebrews bread was made, not in
loaves as with us, but with round cakes about as thick as the thumb."

There bread they ate was not pre-cut and rapped in plastic.
To break bread so everyone could have some, "with thanks"
given to God for your daily food portions..

Perhaps you were unaware that Luke wrote the Acts of the Apostles?

I don't. But apparently they did. Jesus said, "As oft as you do this..." He did say, "once a week..." or "once a month..."

Are you claiming that they devoted themselves to lunch? - lol

Acts 2:42 NIV
The Fellowship of the Believers

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and
to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

I said in another post that the biblical evidence for Sunday worship is very thin. The writings of the early church are the better indicator of what was happening. Are you familiar with the Didache? (Teachings of the Twelve Apostles) Didache. The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles (translation Roberts-Donaldson).

Chapter 14. Christian Assembly on the Lord's Day. But every Lord's day gather yourselves together, and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure. But let no one who is at odds with his fellow come together with you, until they be reconciled, that your sacrifice may not be profaned. For this is that which was spoken by the Lord: "In every place and time offer to me a pure sacrifice; for I am a great King, says the Lord, and my name is wonderful among the nations."

You should read Isaiah 66:23, its not referring to festivals.
If that is correct, then it isn't referring to Sabbath-keeping either. Wasn't that your point? Sabbath-keeping in the Millennium?

Take your pick. The New Moon and the Sabbath are mentioned as a set. What are they?
1) Time frames? Every month and every week. Or...
2) Religious days. A weekly Sabbath and a monthly New Moon festival?

Isaiah 66:23 NIV
From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord.

A new moon is a month. What it means is from month to month every Sabbath (seventh day) we will worship God.

Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.

I also think in the New Earth there will be 28 days to make a new moon (month) so week by week and every new moon (month) we will be worshipping our Savior on His chosen day, the Sabbath.

Okay, thanks.
Isaiah 66:23 does not support your previous claim then. It means a week, not that we will be observing the Sabbath law.

There is a difference in the covenant. Old versus New.

Gods laws have not changed, how they are applied/kept have.

Galatians 4 gives us a very clear example of this.

I would personally read the whole book of Galatians just to maintain good context. It doesn’t take long to read. Well worth it.

The point of my post, is to show what Covenant Changed. It was the Priesthood Covenant God made with Levi, on Israel's behalf that changed. That is, how God's Laws are Administered, and how Transgression of God's Law is atoned for.

If a person doesn't understand what LAW was "ADDED" because of Transgression, "Till the SEED should come", and willing to separate it, as God and Paul did, from the Covenant of Abraham HE furthered on to Abraham's Children when HE rescued them from Egypt, which Covenant they broke, then they will not understand Galatians. Instead, they will believe, as the religions of this world promote, that the Old Covenant was God's Statutes, Commandments and Laws HE gave, first to Abraham, then to Abraham's Children.

Heb. 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

The Old Covenant the Bible speaks to has nothing to do with changing or altering God's Judgments or Commandments. It was the Priesthood Covenant God made with Levi "Because of Transgressions".

This is the Law the Jews were trying to bring the Galatians under.

Isaiah 66:23 NIV
From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord.
  • If God gave the Sabbath at creation (and He did), it predates the Jewish people. Genesis 2:1-3
  • If God gave the Sabbath written by His hand in stone at Sinai (and He did), it is eternal. Exodus 24:12
  • If Jesus obeyed the Sabbath (and He did), He led by example. Luke 4:16
  • If Jesus calls Himself the Lord of the Sabbath (and He is), He establishes the Sabbath. Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, Luke 6:5
  • Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath (and it was), He established it for all man, not just the Jews. Mark 2:27
  • If Jesus said that the law would not change whatsoever until all be fulfilled (and He did), He meant what He said. Matthew 5:18-19
  • If Jesus specifically mentions Sabbath keeping during the great tribulation (and He did), it is still to be observed. Matthew 24:20
  • If Jesus rested in death on the Sabbath (and He did), He set an example even in death. Matthew 27:46-66, Matthew 28:1-7
  • If Paul observed the Sabbath (and he did), it would shoot holes in the very idea that Paul's words negated the Sabbath in some way. Acts of the Apostles 17:2
  • If the Sabbath is to be kept in heaven (and it will be), it is indeed eternal. Isaiah 66:23
What makes a Christian think that there is somehow any pause whatsoever in the Sabbath observance?

Let's take it a step further.
  • If Jesus is our creator (and He is). Colossians 1:16-20
    • Then it was Jesus who observed the Sabbath at creation along with Adam and Eve, as an example (and He did). Genesis 2:1-3
    • Then it was Jesus who gave the Ten Commandments, including the Sabbath, on Mt. Sinai, written by His own hand (and He did). Exodus 24:12
    • Not only that, but Jesus came in the flesh to magnify the very law He gave twice. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John
    • Even after going to heaven, again Jesus emphasized the law through John. Revelation 22:13-16
    • From heaven, Jesus forbade any adding or taking away from scripture in His Revelation, solidifying His ministry, which includes the Sabbath. Revelation 22:18-19
  • If the very taking away of the Sabbath was prophesied in detail (and it was).
    • If Daniel prophesied the power that would speak great things against God (and he did). Daniel 7:8
    • If Daniel prophesied the very changing of times and laws of God [Sabbath, et al] (and he did). Daniel 7:23-25
    • If Paul prophesied the falling away and the same power spoken of by Daniel that would exalt itself above God (and he did). 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
    • If John, through Jesus, prophesied the same power (and he did). Revelation 13:6
  • If the Sabbath is God's sign (and it is) in Exodus 31:12-18 and the same language ties with the Sabbath observance account at creation in Genesis 2:1-3 (and it does) and the same language ties in with the Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14:6-12 (and it does), then the Sabbath is indeed the Seal of God and the key worship issue of the last days.
  • If worship is the key determining factor of the mark of the beast (and it is), then God's day of worship, the Sabbath, is front and center. Revelation 14:9, Revelation 14:11, Revelation 16:2, Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:4
  • If the path is narrow and there are few that find it, then Sunday worship is clearly not the narrow path. Matthew 7:13-14
We have overwhelming definitive evidence that the Sabbath was, is and always will be.

You said, I quote:

“God's Commandments, Statutes, Judgments and Laws were not changed,”

Yet, my Bible says...

“For the priesthood being changed,
there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” (Hebrews 7:12).

I am going with my Bible and not what you are saying, my friend.

Have a good evening, and may God bless you (even if we disagree on the Scriptures).

Actually my Friend, it is the Word's of the Bible which give me my understanding. They are shown in the Word's of your Bible that you didn't consider in your reply. Allow me to include them in this discussion.

Heb. 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

God's Commandments, Statutes and Judgments given to Abraham and then to Abraham's Children, did not change, at least according to the God of the Bible. Paul said this Priesthood Law wasn't "ADDED" until 430 years after Abraham.

What Changed was this Priesthood Law which Paul said was "ADDED" because of Transgressions, which declared "WHO" COULD BECOME THE HIGH PRIEST. As the Hebrews Author details in the Scriptures I posted from your own Bible.

Abraham did not have this Priesthood, therefore was not under it.

Please don't be angry towards me my friend. Instead, let us examine the Scriptures together, including "Every Word of God", as Jesus Himself instructed.

The Sabbath was given to the Israelites alone. No one else. For anyone else to "keep" the Sabbath is in essence spiritual theft.

Maybe in the religions of this world, this might be true, as it was for the Pharisees. But not for the God of the Bible.

Is. 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Jesus placed a lot of Trust in the Inspired Word's of Isaiah and quoted him a lot. Shall we not also trust him?

The Sabbath day is the the seventh day of creation.

Can it only be remembered on the seventh day of the week?

No,

God's Commandments and Judgments should be remembered every day of the week. That is the point of them, YES? To guide our footsteps "Every Day". As it is written;

"Today" if you hear HIS Voice, harden not your hearts.

If God gave the Sabbath written by His hand in stone at Sinai (and He did), it is eternal. Exodus 24:12
The TCs were engraved in letters on stone? If so, the Apostle says...
It was the transitory ministry that brought death and condemnation which has no glory now. Other than that, totally fine.

2 Corinthians 3:7-11 NIV
Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
