• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

U.S. says Russian-backed outlets spread COVID-19 vaccine 'disinformation'
By Simon Lewis

2 MIN READ

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States has identified three online publications directed by Russia’s intelligence services that it says are seeking to undermine COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer and Moderna, a State Department spokeswoman said on Sunday.

The outlets “spread many types of disinformation, including about both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, as well as international organizations, military conflicts, protests, and any divisive issue that they can exploit,” the spokeswoman said.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) first reported on the identification of the alleged campaign on Sunday. A Kremlin spokesman denied the U.S. claim Russia was spreading false information about vaccines to the WSJ.

Every older person in our church I've asked has told me they've gotten the vaccine here, usually the Pfizer one that is most common locally.

No one has told me of any adverse effects other than the normal soreness in the arm and after the 2nd dose often a general achiness and other typical side effects that last 1-2 days, but are very mild and less intense than a typical cold. I can also report that same outcome myself.

Sometimes it helps to point out that real people you know have taken the vaccines and you can personally talk to them.

Already the vaccines have saved over 10,000 lives in just the U.K. (United Kingdom) alone! --

Covid vaccines have already saved over 10,000 lives in the U.K.

Oftentimes, the truth is called propaganda and the propaganda is promoted as the truth.

I believe the masses of vaers reports of healthy individuals just degrading and ending up in death hours after taking the vaccine.
That's disinformation.

Viral Posts Misuse VAERS Data to Make False Claims About COVID-19 Vaccines

Viral Posts Misuse VAERS Data to Make False Claims About COVID-19 Vaccines - FactCheck.org
Thats disinformation.

I don't know about any viral posts. What I do know is how you use the actual vaers tool in order to search for the reports, and after reading many of the reports myself, seemed clear enough that some folks actually were dying due to the vaccine, regardless of authority refusing to acknowledge it.

I'd advise staying away from fact check websites that pretend to be gospel, at times I've found misinformation on each of them. They're useful tools to propagandize folks with the official narrative. Either they state things that common sense should tell you, or they ignore evidence pointing to something, claiming no evidence exists. There used to be websites that tracked the false articles on some of them, but I haven't seen many lately. Some of them would misrepresent a conspiracy in order to authoritatively claim there was no conspiracy of that type, which would be true. Snopes was a propaganda-laden one.

It's very clear that you don't. You still don't seem to grasp why there is a disclaimer on the VAERS website "The number of reports alone cannot be interpreted or used to reach conclusions about the existence, severity, frequency, or rates of problems associated with vaccines." All you are doing is misusing VAERS. From VAERS
VAERS - Data
Key considerations and limitations of VAERS data:

  • Vaccine providers are encouraged to report any clinically significant health problem following vaccination to VAERS, whether or not they believe the vaccine was the cause.
  • Reports may include incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental and unverified information.
  • The number of reports alone cannot be interpreted or used to reach conclusions about the existence, severity, frequency, or rates of problems associated with vaccines.
  • VAERS data is limited to vaccine adverse event reports received between 1990 and the most recent date for which data are available.
  • VAERS data do not represent all known safety information for a vaccine and should be interpreted in the context of other scientific information.

Since we can't personally vet everything that's out there, how can we really know information from misinformation? It seems to me that anyone who takes a definite side, without personally vetting, has ultimately "trusted" someone else.
Obviously we have to trust someone since we are not doctors. I think it is a no-brainer though - trust the overwhelming majority of qualified experts and get the vaccine.

I'll decide once they're approved by the FDA, since that standard requires the more rigorous studies recommended by the same experts.

Why do you think the experts would advise you not to wait, which they most certainly do?

Are they irresponsible? Do you know better than them?

Do you think a virus with 99.97% survival justifies emergency use & bypassing the standards required for FDA approval? And if you've had the vaccine and believe you're now immune, why care what decision I make?

You should be fine in the only way that ultimately matters if you truly believe in Christ, and follow Him, pray the prayer He gave us to pray each day to be delivered from evil.

Even if you die in a month or 3, with real faith, you'll go to Life.
( but if you (whomever reads this, anyone) don't yet have true faith, total belief, please seek Him through hearing His words, and seek with all of your heart)

This is correct. I 100% agree. Christ is the answer. But some of us folks were put here to be watchmen to warn the others, even though 99% of people simply don't want to believe the warnings that are true. And such things are exposed when you see that sources that are put here to check facts, in fact, misrepresent and propagandize us. That's all I'm saying.

Covid has killed over 3 million and counting. I do feel sorry for the women under age 50 (having higher estrogen) that took the Astra Zeneca vaccine and it looks also the J&J vaccine that cause for a very small number of them serious clotting it appears due to making antibodies which attack platelet factor 4 or such as I think one theory says. (actually, looking it up again, that's definitely one leading theory: The Blood-Clot Problem Is Multiplying)

But any claim that thousands are dying from the vaccines but we're not being told by mainstream media isn't the real world.

Instead of hiding deaths in a vast conspiracy involving thousands of correspondents and news outlets except for a few...instead of that:

In reality mainstream news media across the board make big money by constantly telling us about deaths, and searching out dangers to warn us about endlessly.

If they could find the vaccines were secretly killing thousands, they've breathlessly promote in lengthy lead stories for more of their endless news about death.

But since that one isn't actual, they will instead continue their other endless news about deaths, real ones.

REUTERS FACT CHECK
APRIL 2, 20219:35 AMUPDATED 9 DAYS AGO
Fact Check-VAERS data does not prove thousands died from receiving COVID-19 vaccines
By Reuters Fact Check

Viewed more than 21,000 times on Facebook, a video showing data collected by the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) claims that thousands of people died from receiving COVID-19 vaccines. The video, which fails to mention that anyone can report events to VAERS and that the database contains unverified information, describes reported deaths of individuals who died after receiving the vaccine as deaths caused by the vaccine, when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has so far found no evidence that vaccinations led to patient deaths.

Available fb.watch/4s9aQGkDhN/ , the video in question, shared over 1,700 times at the time of this publication and titled “COVID19 VACCINES DEATH TOLL CLIMBING!!!”, shows a person scrolling through a VAERS dataset of death reports and saying, “This is the list of all the people who have died from vaccines.” The narrator clicks on random entries, including a 38-year-old in New Mexico and a 65-year-old in Ohio who were both given the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, before saying that “the vaccine itself will kill you.”

The video’s caption links to the VAERS online database (wonder.cdc.gov/vaers.html), which is run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public may report events to VAERS, and a disclaimer on the CDC website says: “The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable” (here).

When downloading the data, users are presented with a further disclaimer that the data does not include information from investigations into reported cases. The disclaimer also says “the inclusion of events in VAERS data does not imply causality” (here).

According to the latest data (here), 1,985 U.S. deaths of individuals who died after receiving at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines have been reported to VAERS. Of these, 1,016 are listed as receiving doses from Moderna, 946 as Pfizer-BioNTech, 16 as Janssen, and seven as “unknown manufacturer.” In total, 1,579, or nearly early 80%, of these individuals were over the age of 65.

As stated here by the CDC, “Reports of death to VAERS following vaccination do not necessarily mean the vaccine caused the death.”

Covid has killed 3 million? Do you know how they arrive at that number? Folks dying *with* covid is not the same as dying *by* covid.

And no, when you realize who owns the media conglomerates and who owns big pharma, you really won't see reports of deaths from certain sources.

If someone dies in the view of an expert like a doctor from Covid, I will tend to believe the professional knows his/her stuff, usually, and isn't incompetent.

But we use other methods, to independently check, also, on the overall count of all deaths, statistically. And that confirms the overall approximate toll.

Basically, people know how to do their own jobs better than we do from the outside who aren't in their profession, we out here that don't work in hospital ICUs.
