Why did Gabriel intentionally not mention the new covenant in Daniel 9, although the messiah would be cut off?

Gabriel did not need to mention it, because Daniel had already read the Book of Jeremiah when Gabriel arrived, and the promise of the New Covenant is found in Jeremiah 31:31-34.

Dan 9:2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Therefore, Daniel already knew about the promised New Covenant.

The same source of truth found in Daniel 9 is also found in Hebrews 9:15.

Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Find one person on the entire planet that says the words "new covenant" are found written in the text of Daniel 9.

Find one person on the entire planet who agrees with you that Matthew 26:28 and Mark 14:24 do not refer to the New Covenant because the word "new" is absent in the Greek.

We are discussing Daniel 9, the words "new covenant" not being in Daniel 9.

Wonderfully explained.
We do not need to explain much do we. The scriptures through his Spirit speak very loud and clear.

The 70 years are not in Jeremiah 31. But in Jeremiah 25 and 29. Daniel in Daniel 9 was not referring to the new covenant, nor praying about it. Daniel was praying about the 70 years of serving the King of Babylon was almost up.

Daniel 9, why did Gabriel intentionally not mention the new covenant in Daniel 9, even though the messiah would be cutoff ?

It could not be clearer that Daniel was speaking about the Mt. Sinai covenant. And that the words "new covenant" are not in Daniel 9. And that it is the Mt. Sinai covenant that the prince who shall come, from the people who destroy the temple and city, will confirm the covenant, the Mt. Sinai covenant for 7 years, before stopping the daily sacrifice in the middle of the 70th week.

Do you believe that Matthew 26:28 and Mark 14:24 refer to the new covenant?

It could not be clearer that Daniel was speaking about the Mt. Sinai covenant.

If it is that "clear" why can you not show anyone else on the planet, dead or alive, who agrees with you?

Is it "clear" only to you?

That is not a chart. It is you making statements. Citing different verses, but not connecting them in any understandable timeline of events.

I work by and with the Word of GOD, not by the spirit that leads and guides you.
The Word is GOD.

What man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.

JESUS said: John 16:v.12 to 15

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for
he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that
he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, ...even that prophet shall die. Deuteronomy 18:v.20

Be careful or get ready

It is clear that why you cannot find anyone on the planet that can show the words "new covenant" in Daniel 9.

There are countless futurists who are clear that the prince who shall come is not Jesus, but the person who becomes the Antichrist. And that the 70th week is still future.

I am still waiting for you or someone who agrees with your view to say why Gabriel intentionally did not say "new covenant" in Daniel 9?

You are making erroneous statements. The words "new covenant" are not in Daniel 9. And the messiah rising from the dead on the third day is not in Daniel 9 - why not?

The Word is GOD.
You make statements, cite bible passages, but make no cohesive timeline path of the flow of events.

Saying stuff like the last Decade of Satan's time is meaningless because you don't have biblical basis for the statement.

There were no chapters or verses in the Book of Jeremiah during Daniel's time.

Are you trying to say he never read chapter 31?

.
Daniel was in captivity in Babylon, where did he get his copy of the book of Jeremiah? There were no printing presses back then.

And whether Daniel was aware of everything that Jeremiah prophesied is not the issue.

The issue is why did Gabriel intentionally not mention the new covenant in Daniel 9? And why did Gabriel intentionally not mention the messiah rising on the third day?

The words "new covenant" are not in Matthew 26:28 and Mark 14:24. But they still indisputably refer to the New Covenant.

Gabriel did not need to use the words "new covenant" for the same reason that Jesus did not need to use the words "new covenant".

Because the New Covenant is self-evident in their words.

The prince in Daniel 9 is Messiah.

Messiah confirmed a covenant.

His New Covenant.

From the KJV....

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mark14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
.

Gabriel did not need to use the words "new covenant" for the same reason that Jesus did not need to use the words "new covenant".

As you see from the text above, Jesus did use the word "new". So the question remains why did Gabriel intentionally leave out the words "new covenant" in Daniel 9, yet spoke of the messiah being cutoff?

The answer is in the bible.
The prince in Daniel 9 is Messiah.

Messiah confirmed a covenant.

His New Covenant.
The prince who shall come is not Jesus. The covenant that the prince who shall come, from the people who destroyed the temple and city, will confirm for 7 years is not the new covenant, but the Mt. Sinai covenant. The for 7 years is Deuteronomy 31:9-13.
