Why is European style power metal not that Popular in the United States?

Well for the most part it is because we like our own music and got plenty of it!


But that being said, Rammstein has a decent sized following in the US. And back in the 80s you had the Scorpions.

I have a thing that is like guitar hero,but with real guitar. But i wonder why they don't have DLC by Metallica, yet have DLC by Megadeth.

Interesting, and a bit more sophisticated than I was expecting. Either way, beats some metal, and that coming from a child of the 60's.

Rock music of any kind is a boutique thing in the US these days. These days, it's all rap and mindless pop.

It's kind of a shame; new music across pretty much all genres these days isn't very good in my opinion. It just doesn't seem authentic or something. Probably because it's all about money, just like everything else.
