Personally haven't done an in-depth study of Revelation.

Though personally believe that the events in it are done.

Maybe one day can articulate it properly for it is one of the most profound and controversial books on the market we have today.

There are 4 different view points on it. Idealist, Historical, Pertrist View, and mmm Forgot the other one, Futurist view

Believe personally all of it done and Satan has been cast into the lake of fire, though people can have their own ideas, when it comes down to it.

Hopefully one will be able to understand it though believe it is already done.

People today when they accept Jesus Christ into their life have entered into the Kingdom of God - the kingdom of the Son ( Colossians 1:13 - 14)

And the person is delivered out from Darkness by God, it doesn't say released from Satan or delivered out of Satan kingdom.

So it is all up for interpretation. (When it comes to revelation)

In the book of Job Satan and God talk to each other. Satan actually presents himself before God on heaven. God points out Job to him saying what righteous man he is. Satan tells God that Job is only loyal because God blessed him with wealth and a large family. He tells God that if Job lost everything he would curse God.

Thank you for explaining thought it might have been something else, MMXX.

I tend to hold the preterist view myself. That a lot of Revelation is about the destruction of Jerusalem that took place in 70 AD.

So, because of the bible telling of Satan and his angels being thrown in the lake of fire proving the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Does not remove the fact, that darkness, and evil still exist with-in us humans. Jesus Christ is the only one to be able to cast a light on the darkness and the evil of the heart. Jesus Christ is the light of all man kind.

As human beings we have a choice to do wrong. Eve was beguiled by Satan in the Garden, but she made a choice when she was enticed, and tempted by her own lust.

James 1:14 : But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Darkness still exist today.

- This is total conjecture on my part -> While believers are part of the kingdom of God.

And while Satan according to the bible has been cast into the lake of fire with his angels.

And while Satan is most certainly gone, people who are motivated by the power of darkness, who exist after this life and have their lives outside the kingdom of God above, are somehow free to wander, free to encourage others to death, and free to do dark deeds.

Sorry bud, but Satan and his angels are not gone just yet. I don't know where you got that idea from, but it's not from God's Word, because certain events MUST... happen prior to Satan's destruction, the main one being Christ's return to THIS earth to reign over ALL nations for the "thousand years" of Revelation 20 with His elect saints. Lord Jesus' 2nd coming has not happened yet today.

As others have said this is yet to happen. Satan and his demons are certainly not gone, they are active and prowling for victims. The world now calls bad good just as scripture predicted and the further they withdraw from God and more into the occult the worse things will become.
1 Peter 5:8
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

This is why Ephesians outlines the armour that we need against him.
Ephesians 6
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Imagine being without that armour, without Christ. The world is open to attack.

By the time Christ returns things will be as bad as the days of Noah.
Matthew 24:37-39

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Eve was deceived when she sinned, but it wasn't her that brought in sin and death to mankind that was Adam.

1 Timothy 2:14
And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned--

I always liked the remark I heard from Chuck Missler, along the lines: 'Anyone who doesn't think satan exists should try resisting him for a while and find out'.

Agree that James 1:14 also applies to Eve's when she was 'nasa'd' in the garden by the serpent. Desire is not always sexual lust, it's just wanting or coveting something. In her case an ungodly thing.

As in:

3 markers - "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." I Johb 2

Eve did not stick with what God said but considered all 3 markers then ate the fruit as did Adam - "when the woman saw that the tree was good for foodi and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." Gen 3

Also, where does evil come from - "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" Eph 2:2

Still active revealed in Scripture such as:
"...for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the wonderful news of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the divine image of God." II Cor 4:4

Some Purposes - "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

There's levels or organization structure of the enemy and his camp -
"Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation." Matt 12: 45

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Eph

Thankfully God is love.

You know, I honestly think it might have happened like this. I mean, think about this....in the spirit world, there is no sense of time. It does not exist. There is no way to measure it. So this must mean that God is able to see everything that is going to happen, or it has already happened. Either way, I think the Bible has told us shocking prophesy in Revelation and the Book of Daniel and the funny thing is, none of it can be changed. Like if the government got together and said," Let's change law 666 about buying and selling to a different number they don't know about " it Supernaturally cannot be done. It is like history played itself out, God rolled back the history, and gave us the Book making sure it would all play out the same way again. It is incredible!

satan is imprisoned, but remember, he will be released for a short time and cause havoc, before Jesus The Christ returns as Lord of all creation (under His new name)

The lake of fire is symbolic, it represents the judgement. I am not sure if satan is a real being or a personification of our temptations and wrong inclinations.

But as the darkness is always-present in any physical creation, so is its judgement and the victory of light.
so was Jesus being tested in he wilderness with a personification who could offer him all the kingdoms of the world in a time? or the personification entered Judas?

Personification does not enter. Personification is an expression of temptation as to be of some external person. So that you can deal with it better.

Hello Carl,

Thank you for your correction about the 'lust'

James 1:14 : But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

So even after being beguiled by Satan - Was eve drawn away by her own her desire or is this scripture incorrect?

Revelation 20: 10 These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Revelation 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

I personally believe this has done happened, Carl.

It is however subjective and you do not have to believe my point of view.
Eve was disobedient because she chose to be. Both Adam and Eve had free will to choose. Be blessed.

We need Satan to be a person who is very much alive......Else we will no longer have a reason to sin and would be force to strive to "Be ye Perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is Perfect."

All thing come from and is created by God.....including "evil."

you do realize that this casting of them into the fire comes after Armageddon where the great slaughter of the dead trampled in the winepress of God's wrath is the invaders of Israel and not the destruction of Israel in 70AD. In fact this same scenario is repeated in Zech 14 the LORD comes and destroys the invader who are overrunning Jerusalem on the day the LORD is king over all the earth. In Dan 7 the pompous one is persecuting the saints for a time times and half a time when the kingdom is given to the son of man who is before the ancient of days and this kingdom covers the earth and has no end.
At this time the pompous one is given to the flame and the rest of the beasts are said to lose their dominion but have their live prolonged for a season and a time.

Even Isaiah 61 notes the day of vengeance of our God is a great day of salvation for Jewish Israel and the before and after contrast is abundantly clear. This chapter is completely describing the salvation of the nation through the day of vengeance. The same with the latter half of Ezekiel.
This error of Revelation being fulfilled is coupled with an error of the church is now Israel. (There is a spiritual kingdom of the saved too) So in Rev when the angels proclaim the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our LORD and his Christ and He shall reign forever and ever this is going to fulfill Dan 9 the 70 weeks. The focus of this prophecy is 70 7's are determined for Daniels people adn the Holy City. Daniels prayer of repentance preceding this prophecy is for Jerusalem and the Jewish people.

“Seventy weeks[fn] are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of[fn] sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
luke 1

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

67 Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying:
68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
71 That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

you see if you really look at the prophecies, oaths and covenants and write them down as literal this before and after picture is clear and the 2nd coming is the transition and indeed the millennium is real.

Nothing can make you sin. You might recall in The Word
Jas.1
  1. [14] But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
  2. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
God will always provide a way out. The goal is to be set free by Christ.

Some good thoughts here, brother. Let me show that Satan is ever present, and not yet cast into the "lake of fire" as Revelation also shows YET to come. He is EVER present as a "beguiler" as he was with Eve and Adam --appearing as a viper. Certainly he CANNOT lay a hand upon us, but he is a master deceiver and works very well on our mind. He will always be a deceiver and never stop trying to cause us to dishonor God or cause harm or cause us to exalt self (as even he did with Jesus when he invited him upon the peak and challenged Him to jump off).

I agree that we have the choice to seek to obey and honor God, or listen to temptations of Satan, man or our own likes and dislikes. We as redeemed saints must seek always to honor God and turn from any thought or interest that dishonors God or harms others.
