They finally got the Dream Team to overturn the election...

A Treasure Hunter, a Satanism Expert, and Mike Lindell Fight to Overturn Biden Win in Arizona
With Joe Biden inaugurated as president more than two months ago, Donald Trump and most of his supporters long ago gave up on efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. But in Arizona, the dream of a Trump victory lives on, drawing in a bizarre cast of characters intent on rooting out nonexistent fraud.

As the Republican-held state Senate prepares to recount 2.1 million ballots cast in Democratic-leaning Maricopa County, Arizona has become a hotbed for election “fraud” vigilantes.

The motley crew leading the charge includes a failed treasure hunter, a Trumpist pillow magnate, a self-proclaimed expert on satanic forces, and roving bands of amateur ballot sleuths who climb into dumpsters and investigate chicken coop fires. While the recount can’t change the results of the election, the anger and passions surrounding it offer a window into the future of a Republican Party that still widely insists that Trump legally won re-election, long after his loss has become clear.
A Treasure Hunter, a Satanism Expert, and Mike Lindell Fight to Overturn Biden Win in Arizona

To the pundits wondering if Trump's loss will mean a return to normalcy for the GOP...

This is the new normal for republicans.

Trying to undo the election of Joe Biden is a lost cause. Being sore losers over it is counterproductive. The best thing Republicans can do now is focus on getting more Republican representatives in the House and Senate when the 2022 elections come along.

Due to Trump’s massive popularity, it is likely he will run for president again in 2024. Maybe the coronavirus pandemic won’t still be around by that time, so mail-in voting (which seems to benefit the Democrats a lot) won’t be so prevalent. If that’s the case, it’s likely we’ll see another four years of Trump, fortunately.

I feel 45th President Trump should have prepared himself better, he was criticizing mail-in votes but did nothing to solve any issues.

The problem for America is that Trump was the most unpopular president since people started keeping track. He's wildly popular with most republicans, and very unpopular with most everyone else.

The RCP average of polls has him with a 41.1 approval rate and a 56.1 disapproval rate. That's not nearly good enough to win, and it's hard to see how, as various criminal and civil problems accumulate for him, that might improve.

Which Republican should run for president in 2024 if not Trump? Would you prefer someone like Jeb Bush? He once called illegal immigration an “act of love,” suggesting illegals have a “right” to cross our border and resettle here without taking the legal route. You can read about his remark here: Jeb Bush says illegal immigration often 'an act of love' It’s counterproductive for conservatives to support an amnesty/pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. Polling data shows that 70% of Hispanics vote for the Democratic Party, which means that more Mexicans voting in our country will make it increasingly difficult for Republicans to win elections. George W. Bush went out of his way to make the GOP more attractive to Hispanics, but he still lost 60% of the Hispanic vote.

Probably DeSantis but he does not want to run

They've run off pretty much any responsible republican. I don't see anyone on the horizon now.

I'm thinking that the first step would be to rein in the nutcases...

BTW, here's the supposed leading choice of the investigators to look for fraud in the ballots:

One potential candidate for the recount: Jovan Hutton Pulitzer, an inventor who claims to have invented a mysterious technology to detect voter fraud. After the election, Pulitzer was heralded by Trump supporters who saw earlier, more conventional recounts fail to produce any evidence of voter fraud. Instead, they want a “Pulitzer audit,” a ballot inspection premised on Pulitzer’s little-understood technology.

Pulitzer didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Pulitzer originally gained notoriety during the dot-com boom as the inventor of the much-mocked CueCat, a cat-shaped barcode scanner that was meant to let people reading magazines scan barcodes in ads, taking them to related websites. Pulitzer, then using the name J. Jovan Philyaw, took in more than $185 million in investments in his feline-themed scanner, but the product flopped. In 2006, PC World ranked Pulitzer’s invention—dubbed “one of the most ridiculed products of the internet era”—as the 20th worst tech product of all time.

Pulitzer resurfaced as an amateur treasure hunter in 2015 on a History Channel show, styling himself as the “COMMANDER of TreasureForce” and positing that a Roman sword ostensibly found on a Canadian island proved that ancient Romans had visited Canada.
A Treasure Hunter, a Satanism Expert, and Mike Lindell Fight to Overturn Biden Win in Arizona

Sounds like a movie with Adam Sandler and Chris Farley playing the leads.

I'll vote Democratic again in the 2024 presidential election if either Trump or one of his sycophants is the Republican presidential nominee. I voted for Biden and I doubt he will be the last Democrat I vote for. I'll only vote for the Republicans who don't support Trump. If none are an option, then I'll vote for the Democratic candidates. I won't vote for Trump or for any Republican leaders who support him.

I don't know but the whole thing was a mess, I read an article that a lot of the lawyers didn't even try to challenge the results. Sydney threatening with releasing the Kraken and Giuliani being one of the few who tried to do something

Well, he has been in the news a lot. For what it's worth, it looks to me like he really was tucking in his shirt. Don't know why he had to lie on the bed to do it, though. And then that hair dye release when he was in court.

This guy was the hero of 9/11; "America's Mayor." Now... what happened to him?

Don't care about that silly stuff, I'm worried about him trashing some other conservatives who showed up for Trump
