I just skipped through it, but it didn't really look different from a Latin Rite mass to me. What was different about it?

A Chaldean Catholic commented that they were speaking Soureth, which is Aramaic or the language commonly spoken in the Chaldean mass. I noted that it sounded like the Holy Father was speaking Italian in at least some parts, but I also didn't watch it all the way through. The hymns were definitely Chaldean hymns though.

I thought applause during Mass was frown upon. I went through parts of it and noticed that.

I did too, but then I see it all the time here in the states depending on the parish... Go figure.
