The text reads: "Rabbi Yitzchak said: 'In the year that the Messiah will be revealed, all of the leaders of the nations will provoke each other.

"The king of Persia will provoke the king of Arabia, and the king of Arabia will go to Edom to receive advice from them."

"And the king of Persia will go and destroy the entire world, and all the nations of the world will shake and panic and fall on their faces and feel contractions like those of giving birth, and Israel will shake and panic and ask: 'Where will we go?'

"And (God) will sway to them, ‘My children, do not fear, because everything I did, I did for you. Why are you afraid? Don’t be afraid. The time has come for your redemption’.”

I'm just not so sure about Edom, considering it doesn't really maintain the stature it once had.

...Though the "contractions" resemble something along the lines of the abdominal pains, and nausea caused by radiation poisoning... Such as that caused by nuclear bombs.

The ONLY true prophecies are found in the Holy Bible, The Infallible Word of Almighty God. Neither are there any real Prophets other than those in the Holy Bible, who ALONE hear from God. ALL others are from the devil and FALSE!

I hope you're right about that.

100%. don't you accept that the One True God, only Spoke through His own Prophets, who are only in the Holy Bible?

Not necessarily... There could be some surprises, not that I don't believe the Bible -- I do.

...But what if there were other messages, sent to other people? Like the Jews.

Then the Holy Bible is not the Word of God to us, as there could be other works out there than may also be God's Word. In which case we cannot really accept much of what the Bible says, as it may prove to be false in what it says. 100% faith in the Bible ALONE being the Word of God, is the only way.

What about when Jesus warns against false prophets? The way he goes on toe say we'll know them by their fruits etc only makes sense of there are also real prophets to be found in the future as well.

The Bible is very clear that the Apostles and Prophets are the Church's Foundation, in which case, there are NO true prophets after the New Testament. The Bible ALONE is God's Word to the human race, and consists of 66 Books.

Well, I mean if something *contradicts* the Bible, obviously it must be false... But if it doesn't then that wouldn't be removing any faith in the bible... It would just be another message... That we could possibly consider or possibly not, without falling into sin... I would think.

A foundation is a beginning, not an end. It gets built upon.

There aren't individuals that are held up by God as a prophet to listen to after the Incarnation. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. There are occasions of prophetic utterance though we are not held to believe them, in fact shouldn't unless approved.

yes, and the Church is that Building! There are zero Apostles or Prophets today who represent the Living God of the Holy Bible. There are thousands of FALSE ones, like in the OP.

people might have opinions, and we might even listen to what they say. But that does not mean that God has spoken through them. The last True Prophet in the Bible is John the Baptist, as Matthew 11:13 tells us, "For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John". None after John the Baptist.

Nowhere does it say that no one could prophesy. God's prophets until John. There were those with the gift of prophecy...

The Church that put together the Canon of Scripture does not even believe that...
