Featured CPAC speaker said Judaism is a “complete lie” and referred to Jewish people as “thieving fake Jews”

Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has dis-invited a young African-American hip hop musician/online commentator, after Media Matters for America dug up a number of anti-Semitic social media posts***. It also removed all references to him on the CPAC website.

This guy has a looooong history of insane conspiracy theory stuff (QAnon, Ancient Aliens, NWO, Democrats are systematically hiding/helping pedophiles and various Hillary Clinton themed types of nuttey, just for a start). However, it was the anti-semitism that seems to have crossed the line.

Oh, and the theme of CPAC this year is 'America Uncancelled'

*Chef's kiss*

**It's not like they dug hard either. Some of them were from this month.

Why would they be stupid enough to invite him to speak in the first place?

Probably because he was squeaking out a series of acceptable noises:

He was pro:
MAGA
Election conspiracy theories
'Blexit'
QAnon
'Scandemic'/Vaccine conspiracies
'Drain the Swamp'

He was anti:
Biden
Hillary
Soros
'Big-tech/social media'
China
BLM

If you didn't look too closely, his positions resembled those of a lot of other speakers at CPAC, both this year and in past years.

They elected Trump. How good do you think they are at vetting people?

Because he’s popular among the new right wing and his views aren’t actually as far out from the mainstream in their circles as CPAC would want people to believe.

I mean really.... has he said anything we haven’t already heard from conservatives before, even on here? I doubt it.

I'm still somewhat surprised they cancelled him. I can imagine some of those inner circle, mainstream conservatives secretly having a 6MWE t-shirt or two in their closet.

Pretty similar to a lot of them even if you did look closely. Most of them are just smart enough not to share their more abhorrent views openly.

"Conservatives" have gone insane embracing stop the steal and q and other nonsense.

"Conservative" is precisely the wrong word. But I guess its all about the movement's ancestry.
Agree. Some of them are getting into the Italian Blackshirts and Nazi Sturmabteilung territory.

Yeah CPAC should be having the "oathkeepers" provide security. Like the Hells Angels at Altamont.

Good for them policing their own and setting standards. He will probably get a gig with one of the Squad members or a spot on CNN.

So you are actually claiming that his views and ideology aligns with those of CNN or the liberal end of the Democratic party?

Really?

Have you thought this comment of yours through?

CNN is going to promote a "stop the steal" person?

Doubt it.

I don't know which is more important to them - siding with the far left anti Semites or being a disgruntled ex Trump etc. CNN seems to welcome both with open arms and pay them quite handsomely.

Of course, he might not be disgruntled enough to be attractive to them.

CNN wont legitimize stop the steal no matter what.

CPAC ('America Uncancelled' lol) cancelled this guy, and he'll stay cancelled except on whatever the new Parler is.

I am sure the Democrats will embrace his call, made yesterday, for them to be arrested for treason.

Applause for the Conservative leadership of CPAC making the proper decision to disinvite this person!

Their opposite number on the political ideology scale won't respond that way.

Oh, and as for "not like they dug hard either"...it was less than two years ago that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, declined to get behind a resolution in the House calling for a renunciation of anti-Semitism.

Worse, it had already been watered down by omitting any reference to the allegedly anti-Semitic statements previously made by Democratic members of the House. In addition, the resolution that was finally voted on added language that was more about other forms of ethnic hatred than about anti-Semitism, thus watering it down further.
