but then that is a parental choice, which is what freedom is about, if we believe in freedom.
She handles a firearm with more responsibility and care than most adults I know.
It's not only about "freedom."

It's about parental responsibility and ultimately firearms safety. A CP33 with a bunch of gee-gaws stuck to it is neither an HK MP3, nor a suitable firearm for a young child.

She sure seems safe and two fingers on the trigger- cute. I’m surprised at her maturity with that thing. She could be ten years old, not to soon to learn responsibility with a firearm and you can tell she picked it up quick. Kids are different though some you wouldn’t trust with a semi auto but she is super smart . I’m glad her dad was out there.

The more I view her videos the more I am impressed with her maturity and handling of these, she can drop the mag, lock back the slide and eject a chambered round with the best of them. Mom and dad both pour a lot of love and guidance into her.
So very proud of them!

I haven't viewed the video because it's irresponsible to have a young child shoot a firearm like that. Not all firearms of course. Just a pretty decent target pistol with a bunch of gee-gaws stuck on it in an attempt to make it look like an H&K MP5, which it is not. Then again, I wonder why anyone would configure such a firearm? Takes all kinds I suppose. Sure looks cute though, huh?

Thank you, I think:oldthumbsup: I know a number of people involved in the shooting sports and although I do not participate in IPSC (SP?) it is an aspect that many enjoy safely. I was mostly involved in Bullseye shooting, it is the basics, sight alignment, sight picture, grip, breath control, trigger control, follow through, etc. here is a great video that describes-

Anymore Hunters Safety class, and blackpowder revolver get my attention.
we find when a young man wants something his ears open up and he pays attention, that is when we pour in the life lessons like- "Inside every young man there is a 3 year old and a 30 year old, the more 30 year old your mom and dad see the more of this you get to do, the more 3 year old they see the fewer of these things you get to do".
We can see the young eyes open up when they hear these things.

little stuff, "this is the world we have been given to care for", just little acknowledgements of our responsibilities to each other, our family, our community, etc. Not so much "closing the deal" on accepting Christ, more like bumper cars, edging them closer to maturity. "we were blessed with great weather for deer season last year", etc.

Your grand daughter shoots a lot of guns well. Has she accepted the lord? I wonder why @Messermann feels that way. Do you think he is a strict dad type. He came down kind of hard on you.
Catholics are pretty strict. My parents sure were and I know others- no funny business. Your son on the other hand has a open mind to teaching his daughter responsibility. Traditionally.

I wish the child, Autumn, of Autumns armory were my grandchild, she is a wonderful young lady any grandpa would be very proud of. I hope she has accepted Christ, it looks to me she has had a LOT of love poured into her, and we know God IS love.
Catholics belong to a religion I am sure he was just passing on the brow beatings he had received from belonging to a "religion" requiring jumping through ritual hoops to make themselves right with God whereas the rest of us know that Jesus paid it all, there is nothing we can do or say to work ourselves to heaven.
Jesus and God are love, the other side, not so much.

I think they believe that all Catholics are going to heaven. But I don’t want to be on his case anymore. I know some good saved Catholics that read and follow the Bible, are good parents and strict. This doesn’t always bear good fruit though. Kids like myself can have problems.

seems like there is a little more to being saved than getting loved.
Whoops my imagination just took a left. She needs Sunday school. And a lot of prayer.

I think Autumn is in a sound home, and as for catholic, Episcopalian, Anglican, Lutheran, etc. there are those within each who love the Lord and seek Him in relationship, also many spirit filled as we get closer and closer to his fulfillment.
The number of true believers is a group within each each fellowship of believers who love Him in spirit and truth.

Salvation of course is only the beginning, Jesus instructions to be his disciples are heal, raise, cleanse, preach, etc. Far too many stop at the wonderful gift of salvation. I believe the Lord's hand is on her life. He knows the end from the beginning and knows what she will do for the kingdom as her life unfolds, as He does with each of us.
best wishes

I shoot a CP33 in competition (www.rimfirechallenge.org), sans the red dot, sliding butt-stock and suppressor. Decent enough firearm.

Not really appropriate for a young child.
Never too early to teach gun safety; I was shooting .22 rifle with dad at about the same age. My daughter was shooting hand gun a 6 (high standard .22) and was able to hit a 45 gallon barrel at 25 yards. We have a youth program at our gun club, and we promote it as a family club!!... and we are Canadian. LOL.
