Just found this video about the kelTec cp-33, looks like a lot of fun, and this child is adorable, you can tell they pour a lot of love into her, hope you enjoy.
It's not only about "freedom."but then that is a parental choice, which is what freedom is about, if we believe in freedom.
She handles a firearm with more responsibility and care than most adults I know.
little stuff, "this is the world we have been given to care for", just little acknowledgements of our responsibilities to each other, our family, our community, etc. Not so much "closing the deal" on accepting Christ, more like bumper cars, edging them closer to maturity. "we were blessed with great weather for deer season last year", etc.
Never too early to teach gun safety; I was shooting .22 rifle with dad at about the same age. My daughter was shooting hand gun a 6 (high standard .22) and was able to hit a 45 gallon barrel at 25 yards. We have a youth program at our gun club, and we promote it as a family club!!... and we are Canadian. LOL.I shoot a CP33 in competition (www.rimfirechallenge.org), sans the red dot, sliding butt-stock and suppressor. Decent enough firearm.
Not really appropriate for a young child.
