Jews are those belonging to the kingdom of Judah, tribes of Benjamin or Judah. They were the last vestiges of God's promise to the patriarch's and truly came to be defined most strongly during the return from Babylonian captivity(Ezra and Nehemiah) as having been taken from their homes they were desperate for a clear identity as a people, not wanting the synchretism that overtook the Samaritans from erasing their history. The last of those given the law, an honor for which they drew an undue amount of pride from failing to recognize they were given their status even though they were the least of nations not because they were the greatest, so that God may be glorified.

If a Jew and Gentile have trusted in Jesus, they are the same, their covenant is the same.
Except that depends on the Jews accepting Jesus and the new covenant. If they fail to accept Jesus as the Messiah they are still operating under to old covenant, Right? Not disagreeing with what you said, just thinking out loud.

Not even skin is the difference. Gentile refers to the nations, and Israel or Jews refers to the people of God chosen by God to enter into covanent with, and to bring the Messiah into the world.

The Bible has only ever broken mankind into two groups, those in covenant with God (Israel), and those who aren't (the nations or Gentiles).

Under the New Covanent, when a Gentile is saved through faith he/she becomes a son by adoption, and thus become part of God's Covanent people, the Jews/ Israel. Likewise when a Jew refuses to accept the Messiah under the New Covanent they are cut off from the same covanent.

Today, because Israel is a real nation with land and borders, you kind of have to declare whether your talking Biblically or secularly when discussing the topic.

I agree. Our Apostle Paul was a Jew, and to Gentiles in Ephesus he has written >

"we who first trusted in Christ", in Ephesians 1:12.

So, by "we" he is saying that both he a Jew and the Gentiles all needed to trust in Jesus who is our Messiah.

"For not he who is a Jew outwardly is a Jew, but he who is one inwardly." > this is my attempt to quote from memory > Romans 2:29. Let's see >

Romans 2:28-29 >

"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God." (Romans 2:28-29)

I agree with Paul. God wants children who are His way in love . . . in Jesus who is so pleasing to our Father.

I now think of how Jesus Himself started His Sermon on the Mount. He talks about how a person is "blessed" > by being "poor in spirit", "meek", "merciful", and "pure in heart". He does not say one is blessed by being a Jew or by helping unbelieving Jews to get land and food, but we need how to be in our character > and then as we grow in Christ and how Jesus is so pleasing to our Father, we can run this cup of Christ's example over to unbelieving Israel to help ones to become saved and blessed by becoming pleasing to our Father like Jesus is so pleasing to Him . . . so our "praise is not from men but from God."

There are differences between Jews. Some of them have the law written in their heart and some don’t. Christians should have the law written in their heart and in Biblical point of view they are then Jews.

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

Not when it comes to Salvation, who God saves through Jesus Christ Matt 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

That's not good news:

Galatians 3:10 - "All who rely observing the law are under a curse."
Our Apostle Paul was a Jew, and to Gentiles in Ephesus he has written

"we who first trusted in Christ", in Ephesians 1:12.

There are differences between Jews.
Acts chapter 17 verse 26
From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.

And David was a descendant of Moab if you look in Ruth chapter 1 verse 4, 4 They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth.
Ruth chapter 4 verse 13
13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.
Ruth chapter 4 verse 17
17 The women living there said, “Naomi has a son!” And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.

So we're all descendants of one man, and as far as Jesus's human ancestry he has more than Jewish blood, in his ancestry.

I believe as far as human ancestry Joseph was his father, and how he became a carpenter.
1 Peter chapter 1 verse 18
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors,

I hope I haven't gotten off the topic.

Which old covenant do you mean? There were several in the OT. The one overarching covenants is the covenant of grace which leads to salvation through faith in the messiah. At first, starting right after the fall, this would be faith in the Messiah to come, then in the Messiah who has come. This is the only covenant that leads to salvation.

Are the other covenants (the Davidic, the Mosaic, the Abrahamic) still in force? I don’t think so. So what old covenant should they fall back into?

Keeping in mind that God's covenant people are those in Christ, who are thereby the seed of Abraham (Christ--Galatians 3:16) and heirs acccording to the promise (of an everlasting possession/inheritance--Genesis 17:8, 48:4), which seed is the NT church of both NT saints and OT saints (Hebrews 12:22-24), who with us are being made complete in Christ (Hebrews 11:40) in the one olive tree of God's people (Romans 11:19, Romans 11:23).
Today, because Israel is a real nation with land and borders, you kind of have to declare whether your talking Biblically or secularly when discussing the topic.

Which is the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31-34 (Hebrews 8:7-13).

There is only one covenant now, the New Coventant. The Old Covenant is obsolete (Hebrews 8:13).
Everything has changed from the Old Covenant--law, priesthood, mediator, and sacrifice.

If they reject Jesus Christ, they are under no covenant, they are condemned (John 3:18) and God's wrath remains on them (John 3:36).

Paul is addressing Jews there, and distinguishing between a true Jew and a fake Jew.

He is not saying that believing Gentiles are Jews, he is saying that a Gentile (not one of God's people) who obeys the law is better than a Jew (one of God's own people) who does not.

In 1 Corinthians 7:17-24, Paul made the case that people who stay as they are called, where Gentiles should not try to become Jews an vice versa. The Bible clearly refers to people who are Greeks or Jews, slaves or free, male or female, so Paul was not denying the reality of these differences, but was denying their importance when it comes to being one in Christ.
