Bear The Cross Of Christ
Luke 14:
26
If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

Bear The Truth By The Spirit
John 16:
12
I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;
for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and
He will tell you things to come.

14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

Chosen To Bear His Name
Acts 9:
15
But the Lord said to him, Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name
before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.

Galatians 6:
16
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them,
and upon the Israel of God.
17 From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the
Lord Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Fulfilling The Law Of Christ
Romans 15:1. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak,
and not to please ourselves.

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

BTW; the title connects to all the passages cited in the OP as a word study.

I am able to leave all who won’t follow Christ but Christ commanded me to honour my parents and not hide myself from my own flesh

Does Christ want us to accept others to rejoice in injustice if it seemed a loved one was unfairly treated in the world to accept people to judge them. I suppose He does people should not love their loved ones more than God for if they were judged they surely did not show they are worthy of God by seeking to do His will and they did not find God and His will because they did not love Him enough to seek God and pursue God to find Him

I think the title is misleading. If anything, we are not getting enough of Christ. Either we are not spending enough time to know Him or our senses are not sensitive enough to get more of Him, so that we are actually spiritually starving for more of Him.

Now the suffering in the different passages you brought up, that's another thing. But I believe if we can get so flooded to overflow with Christ, that this would be enough to power us through all these other things. The joy of His presence should be the oil to cover the suffering.

I think the title is misleading.

The Fulness of Christ is His Body, to be In Christ is to be of that body.

1 Corinthians 12:26. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one
member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

The title implies what the apostles taught, that we bear with one another in love, therefore
the title is not misleading. Am I bugging you? :)

No, not really. The title and the quoted verses just seemed all over the place. To me it sounds to be slanted more towards suffering rather than a fulfilling joyful relationship with Christ. But as my Pastor used to say if the message doesn't move you, it's because it wasn't meant for you. So carry on, I can see I am not the intended audience. God bless and take care

To me it sounds to be slanted more towards suffering rather than a fulfilling joyful relationship with Christ.

How do you have a joyful relationship with Christ without a relationship with the body of Christ?
Fulfilling The Law Of Christ [Not Suffering, ministering]
Romans 15:1. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak,
and not to please ourselves.
Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Yes, Paul suffered, for the body of Christ, for which we are thankful, and he endured joyfully.

Amen.

This next one is not directed to suffering, but more to your personal interest perhaps.
Bear The Truth By The Spirit
John 16:
12
I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;
for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and
He will tell you things to come.

14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
So which scriptures are out of place?
BTW, the "am I bugging you?" was a joke. One of the gifts of the Spirit is longsuffering.
I knew a preacher who liked to say, "longsuffering means, you have to suffer long".
The
context was always the endeavor of getting along with one another in Christ.

Ephesians 4:3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
1 John 4:20. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who
does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

In the OP, the Words of Christ are in red, the words of Paul are in black.
Are you suggesting they don't apply to you because they did not move you? Please explain.

His burden is lite if you allow Him the do the heavy work through you.
BTW; the title connects to all the passages cited in the OP as a word study.

Matthew 8:
16
And evening having come, they brought to him many demoniacs, and he did cast out the spirits
with a word, and did heal all who were ill,
17 that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and the illnesses he did bear.

Too many questions Monado to try to answer. So i'll try to explain in my own words.

First, the title. No we don't bear Christ. Christ instead bore all for us. We come to Him with our burden to find rest. In our rest in Him, we find freedom, joy, fulfilment. Everything now flows from his spirit inside of us like a river of life. Inside of us, we dwell in that secret place to abide in His presence.

Second, the sufferings you quote? Thats from the world, not from Christ. His yoke is easy, his burden light. The cross we pick up to bear? That is our from our sinful nature we daily put to death. Is that bearing Christ? No on the contrary, every time we put to death our sinful desire, our load actually gets lighter and lighter. Our joy in choosing him over our sinful desire binds us closer and closer to his love. We, and the brethren suffer from the world. But not from Christ who is the source of our strength to bear the suffering.

Again we really don't bear Christ. God is light, he is the source of life in us, the one who lifts us and lightens up our load. We bear everything else but Christ.

Anyway like i said, your message may be not for me but for another audience. So i'll respectfully let myself out. Thanks, God bless. Hopefully you find the joy in Him that makes your burden light.

Nice topic, thank you brother!

Hebrews 12
"1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with endurance the race set out for us."

1 Thessalonians 4
"God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord."

Revelation 1
" 7Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him— even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen. 8“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come—the Almighty."

By the Law of Messiah we are borne...Cloudborne.

You did not respond to any Marco, now you will presume to teach using your own words?
Anyway like i said, your message may be not for me but for another audience. So i'll respectfully let myself out.
Next time skip the lecture if you truthfully wish to be respectful. Thanks.
First, the title. No we don't bear Christ.
Simply a reference to scriptures. Don't make assumptions about burdens, it is not there.
How Much Christ Can You Bear? Refers to the needs of His Body, as I have emphasized
in my responses to you, and in the OP, but you have ignored. There is also this.

Galatians 3:27. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Romans 13:14. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to the lusts.

Second, the sufferings you quote? Thats from the world, not from Christ.
This is simply incorrect.
2 Corinthians 1:5. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds
by Christ.

All I provided were headings, as follows:
Bear The Cross Of Christ
Bear The Truth By The Spirit
Chosen To Bear His Name
Fulfilling The Law Of Christ

I don't know who you are in disagreement with, Jesus or Paul, but I think you just didn't like
the title, which you misinterpreted. I could have just let it go when you dismissively wrote:
So carry on, I can see I am not the intended audience. God bless and take care
But I decided to practice longsuffering. You cannot blame your lack of comprehension from the OP
on this strange quote. Very irresponsible.
But as my Pastor used to say if the message doesn't move you, it's because it wasn't meant for you.
Or maybe you just didn't want to hear it. Unfortunately, Paul does call it the Law Of Christ.

Fulfilling The Law Of Christ

Romans 15:1. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak,
and not to please ourselves.

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Thank you for taking the time to get the overall message from the headings and verses. Many
respond to the title without even comprehending the points being made in the post#1.
Grace and Peace to you and yours. Thank you for the response, it was a blessing for sure.

And how do clouds form, if not through the process of evaporation?

Google searches:

evaporation
[əˌvapəˈrāSH(ə)n]
NOUN
evaporation (noun) · evaporations (plural noun)
  1. the process of turning from liquid into vapor.
"snow cover prevents evaporation of water from the soil"
    • the process of something abstract ceasing to exist.
"thousands of employees witnessed the rapid evaporation of their retirement plans" · "the police's attempt to dictate public policy led to a sudden evaporation of support"

"Evaporation is called a "cooling process" because it removes heat from the surrounding air. Evaporation in the atmosphere is a crucial step in the water cycle. Water on Earth's surface will evaporate into the atmosphere as energy is absorbed by liquid water."

His people must absorb His energy that we may be empowered to lay our temporal plans ( worldly abstractions and aspirations) aside and place our focus on the Bride...taking all that heat into His Body and away from the surrounding air (politics, religion, secular society), that we may rise.

The enemy has really really been attacking this process of evaporation, if you will, by creating all manner of worldly distractions in the secular realm...much of which has served to divide fellow believers over temporal issues.

Now, more than ever, we need to come out from among them and be separate...and quit wasting our heat into the void.

Hebrews 10
"24And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. 25 Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

This may sound strange, but last night I was meditating on all the reasons I love water! Clouds were
definitely on the list. Also, a cool mist on a hot day. I must have come up with at least 20 reasons
why water is my favorite thing this side of heaven. Like the foliage around us, we must open up to receive the rain, and give off the fragrance of Christ. Cool post. Time to hit the showers.

I don’t think it’s bearing Christ as much as bearing everyone else while Christ is bearing us.
Excellent! That is precisely the message of the OP. Understanding Christ as us, in Him, and in need
of one another. The OP brings this in at the end, but I think you got it from the title. Nice!

The Bride must be inspired to rise. So, there must be a display of love among the Body so bright, that it takes the limelight away from Babylon.
