From the FiveThirtyEight site. Which compiles and analyzes the results from most all of the national polling organization:

“In the wake of the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol, public opinion is souring quickly on President Trump as he enters the final days of his term. Not only do a majority of Americans blame him for the riot at the Capitol and favor removing him form office, but his job approval rating has fallen faster in recent days than at any point in his presidency.”

Since The Capitol Attack, Trump’s Approval Rating Has Plummeted At A Record Rate

CNN is reporting Donald Trump will finish his Presidency with the lowest end-of-first-term approval rating of any President since modern scientific polling began.

Analysis: Trump finishes with worst first term approval rating ever

Trump was hated from the start, that's precisely why Michael Moore predicted he would win in 2016 -

"It's why every beaten down, nameless, forgotten working stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump. He is the human molotov coctail that they've been waiting for. The human hand grenade that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them. ... They see that the elites who ruined their lives hate Trump. Corporate America hates Trump. Wall Street hates Trump. The career politicians hate Trump. The media hates Trump, after they loved him and created him ... the enemy of my enemy is who I'm voting for on November 8th."

The full 4 1/2 minute video is pretty poignant and I think spot on, but can't post it here because of the French language - just remove the spaces from the url if interested:

Yes he was. The people from New York and New Jersey who have had to deal with his narcissism, bombastic egotism, racism, incompetence, and criminality for his entire life tried to warn the rest of the US, but Republicans didn't seem to want to listen.

4 years later, most everyone seems to have finally caught on.

You don't get it. It was never about Trump. Watch the video if you care to get it. Then you'll understand why I, a conservative, am hoping the Republican party implodes.

Trump was hated from the start...
Donald John lied from the start, over something as trivial and inconsequential as his crowd size. From there, he got worse.

Too bad they couldn't see that he is even more elite than the elites he decries.

I wanted 2 things: (1) TPP killed because it would hurt American jobs, and (2) conservative justices because I never wanted to see a judicial branch, unelected and appointed for life, acting as a legislative branch. I got what I wanted. The rest was just a molotov thrown at the establishment that had been killing the American middle class for decades. You can believe the 2 parties are different, if you want, and you can pick sides and play party cheerleader, but you'll never win in that game, because they're just 2 faces of the same ugly bird.

You can mischaracterize my views if you like, but you'll remain unconvincing if you so continue.

Pfft, if Trump had that much support, he would’ve gotten re-elected and got the popular vote.

Sorry, that wasn't my intention but I checked my post and it did come off that way.

Actually since the riot at the Capitol Trump continues to maintain considerable support among the rank and file and at local levels in the Republican Party. An article in Friday's New York Times discusses in detail the extent of this support. According to an NPR poll released over last weekend 69 percent of Republicans believe that Biden's win was fraudulent. Per an NBC News poll conducted between Jan 10-13 fifty percent of those polled believed that Trump should be impeached and removed from office, 89 percent of Democrats also did, but only 8 percent of Republicans did. According to the same poll 57 percent believed the attack on the capitol was an act of terrorism while 40 percent disagreed. Ninety percent of Democrats thought it was an act of terrorism but only 27 percent of Republicans believed it was an act of terrorism. In a poll released yesterday by Pew Research 75 percent of those poll considered the president at least somewhat responsible for the attack on the capitol and 54 percent believed that he should be removed from office. Among Republicans 52 percent felt he was responsible for the attack on the capitol 46 percent did not. Also 29 percent of Republicans approve of Trumps post election behavior, do not blame him for the riot, believe that he won the election and believe that he should have a continued role in politics. Twenty-five percent of Republicans do not believe in any of the above while 46 hold some combination of the above.

Many millions of Republicans still support Trump and he continues to have considerable influence in the Republican Party. Many believe that Trump's and their own first amendment freedoms are being suppressed by Facebook, Twitter, Google and Amazon. Trump continues to maintain strong support on Christian Radio. Listening to CNN, NPR, NBC and mainstream American media and then turning on Christian radio is like switching to an entirely different universe of facts.

Trump is characterized as a dangerously unstable in the mainstream media. However I suspect that he simply does not really believe in republican government which cannot be openly and publicly acknowledged by any American political leader. He has a natural affinity and attraction to despots in Russia, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere and I believe knowingly attempted to manipulate the results of a fair election and has many millions of people in the US under his sway.

Pommer, that number may change over time and with different polls. There has also been a tendency for polls to underestimate Trump's support. The point is that there are millions of people who believe the election was fraudulent and there is reason to believe that Trump will continue to exercise influence over the Republican Party. The fact that Democrats have gained control of the Senate, although just barely, increases their political leverage. However we remain a deeply divided nation with a potential for further violence.

I was sure that I heard President Trump say that if he lost “you’ll never hear from me again!”
I guess it isn’t an actual lie if he believes that he won.
Delusional but honest.

He is certainly a polarising figure.
Probably better suited as a Shock Jock radio show host than as a president of a country of diverse peoples

Trump rambles way too much for that. When he speaks off script, he has a hard time staying on topic for more than ten seconds.
