Not exactly. The Europeans who came to the New World believed they were bringing Christianity to the savages. In many ways this was true.

Should the European explorers just have turned around and gone home after seeing the New World was inhabited by indigenous people ?

Hindsight of hundreds of years helps us to not repeat the same mistakes, but it doesn't change what happened nor make the people of the past more guilty because we're smarter.

Y'all.....I'm going to 100% honest...I'm scared right now. I'm trying to calm down and remember who is in control...but the way things are going with this election, has me thinking some kind of war is coming. I mean to hear both sides...to see hundreds of military present...
I don't support them...Biden or Trump..in fact how do we know they are not working together. I hate this division..and its getting worse.

I keep hearing people say something is coming..get ready..stock up for 2 weeks. Is anyone else unsettled about this situation?
(And I know) that we are suppose to be brave...trust God...but at the same time I feel a storm is coming.

Definitely trust God and pray, don't let your fear control you. I agree with your post 99%, I've thought myself that Trump could actually have been working for the same people as Biden the whole time.

I could be wrong but I think there's nothing wrong with being prepared. If there is actually a war coming (there might not be but also there could be) it would be best to prepare for years rather than weeks. I think knowledge is important and valuable, knowledge of how to live off the land and such.

It’s a cult that has influenced a lot of people, including a lot of the people (I believe a majority) of those who stormed the capital. You can google it for more info. They think there is going to be a blackout for 10 days...any day now.

There probably will be a blackout at some point, maybe not right away. Like the partial blackouts California is experiencing right now.

Not sure what you mean by loving all as self ?

Jesus gave us two commandments, love of God and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

Loving our selves is the commandment in addition to loving our neighbor. It's not loving our neighbor the way we already love ourselves.

However, this doesn't mean that we are guilty of the sins of others as in the case of the Europeans who first discovered the Americas and didn't always treat the natives well. They did wrongs, but we have the hindsight to see it today and we weren't living in that time so we can't judge them for we weren't in their shoes so to speak.

From what I know of history, they had a lot more to deal with than we understand and don't need to feel guilty for it, but avoid making the same mistakes.
